I still cannot believe they made a policeman say that he understands Bhavani's nazariya and that he still respects her. Most shows will whitewash by having the guilty apologise. Here, forget apologising, ML & FL are justifying her actions! Both Sai and Virta have been butchered beyond correction.

@bold: I've never ever seen such a rushed and pathetic whitewashing. A villain has never had a change of heart with one #! ##@ dialogue. Not even in the most crap shows, it usually takes the leads several attempts and years, including leaps and all. And I've never seen such weak, lame dialogues during a whitewash. Usually the leads will hold grudges eventually, for a few epidodes at least, and will tell the wrongdoers in spasht shabd that what they did was wrong and can't be justified in any way. I don't mind the whitewashing as it was bound to be there, but even for ITV level, this was extremely low. If they had to turn the leads eventually in typically ITV leads, why did they first establish such strong characters? Even the most trash serials have despite lack of logic and tracks such as dying three times, plastic surgery... , more consistent writing than these people.

They could have easily whitewashed while holding Virat and Sai's characters intact. They could have shown Aai initiating this whitewash as it would go well with her character, her emotionally blackmailing Sai and Virat into inviting Cgang for birthday party and helping her unite Devi Tai-Kaku. Sai and Virat unwillingly, reluctantly agreeing to help her, but still holing grudges against Cgang for a while. TRP-audience bhi kush aur hum bhi khush. Hell, even in KD Emon held grudges against BK till the end (supposedly, haven't watched it, someone told me that).

Most of the times that they've butchered Sai and Virat's characters by pleasing TRP audience, they could have chosen golden mean, doing justice to Virat and Sai's character. A bit progressive characters with regressive backdrop, like DABH, an example that such shows can be successful. Best of the two worlds.

Sorry for my rant, I had decided to refrain from ranting but couldn't hold back reading your post😅
