But they might feel that Adi-Imlie should not remain married just because they were married. They will doubt their compatibility with each other. There are a lot of surface differences between Adi & Imlie like personalities, background, age gap, etc. It will be difficult for them to see them as a couple.

This would also be a good opportunity to explore the point about a right partner. Adi-Malini were a perfect match on paper but still were so incompatible while Adi-Imlie are a disastrous match on paper but really compatible. So we might get our long awaited discussion from Adi as to why Imlie is the one for him & why is Adi the one for Imlie. This could be such a good track.

I also feel that they should not bring the EMA angle again. They should have continued with it if they wanted it instead of giving us a reconciliation. So that should be out of the picture.

@bold: We always keep hoping for this track but hota kuch nahin hai😆.....so I'm not going to hope for that much yet either unless I see any real signs of them going in that direction.

Questioning Adi-Malini ki compatibility would be a huge step for these writers cuz aaj tak in logon ne Adi-Malini ko bhi woh aapas mein discuss karte nahin dikhaya....lol bas itna dikhaa diya ki Adi realized it was never love between them and bas dosti thi😆.....iske aage ke GLARING compatibility issues are still not being acknowledged😆.

So it would be a pleasant surprise if that ever got raised via the Ts who have the benefit of being outside observers who've seen AM over the years and will now view Adi-Imlie in a different light on knowing they are a married couple......so karne ko toh is mein se kaafi interesting scenes nikaal sakte hain in them realizing why Adi-Imlie are actually the right partners for each other.

But again, all depends on INTENT na😆.....this would require the writers to show other people acknowledging Didi ke flaws despite her so called perfect match appearance😛....that so far is a big no no to them😆....it's easier to paint the whole thing as Adi didn't value what a GOLDEN wife he had in Malini😆.....compatibility issues ka saara bojh is dumped at Adi's feet rather than acknowledging that it takes two people to be incompatible together.

EMA angle toh pehle bhi Ts ne kabhi directly acknowledge nahin kiya....lol bas gol gol baatein karte reh gaye in blaming Imlie and then wanting her to leave the house😆.....aage bhi they may return to those gol gol baatein again if writers want....but yeah I hope your theory proves right and the EMA angle is done for now.

It's a long shot but they can use the Nishant-Pallavi track to raise the ideal partner discussion again.....still, I'm not going to hope for much given their general drag/disjoined tendencies and ofcourse the omnipresent need to fixate on Didi ke tamaashe😆

actually, Adi saying that he will start his life with her with a public wedding leads to the thought ki sacchai chip jaayegi... per the new promo he says duniya ke samne tumse shaadi karke tumhe apna banane ka waqt aa gaya hain Mrs Imlie Tripathi ..

@ bold - yes they are there but look what happened to shaadi that had everything perfect?? the falling apart of Aditya n Malini's marriage has been in front of Ts as well as building of Aditya Imlies relation..

Right now no one is even thinking on these lines but once truth will surface.. i am sure Aparna and pankaj will remember the scene after Adityas 3rd PD trip where he says life partner should be completely opposite to you.. That scene had soo much packed about how polar opposite thinking Aditya and Malini has and how dilutional they have been in thinking about their life choices..

Only possible bump can be the background... also Imlie being Dev's daughter.. again that cant be hold against Aditya and Imlie but it may cause some turbulence..

More than that scene, I wish Aparna would remember how Adi said ki uska DUM GHUT-TA hai with Malini....she's forgotten that too😆....a mom forgot her own child's suffocation.....lol....sab kuch normalize kar diya within a few days of sindoor tamasha when things had gotten SO ugly.

Waise I think only way Ts are going to realize the depth of Adi-Imlie's bond is if they get a front row seat to Adi's unraveling over Imlie😆....not his usual gusse waali unraveling but the Adi that was crying in the ambulance at the mere thought of losing Imlie....that Adi needs to be brought in front of his Mommy dearest for her to get a clue that her son can do more than just gussa at Imlie😆

So I guess that means Imlie ka koi NDE setup karna padega dhang se to show the family what Imlie means to Adi😆.....they still have no clue that Adi literally can't FUNCTION without Imlie😆.

I don't think Ts will hold it against Imlie that she's Dev's daughter....that angle will just be an instrument to always keep the C clan involved in Ts ki life....lol aur kuch nahin.

My only issue with Adi & Malini's relationship at this point is the amount that Adi is still involved with her. My concern is that she will mistake it to be more than what it is - which is pure friendship and them knowing each other for 7 years, but she may assume that he still has hidden feelings for her which e is not accepting. LOL I think it's wishful thinking to presume that Malini will no longer be involved in Adi-Imlie's lives.....there is too much history and cross connections so it is unlikely to be a clean break.

Adi is just staying true to his character....basic insaaniyat and dosti nibhaa raha hai....Malini was alone at the hospital so he stayed back to give her some moral support.....he hasn't done anything extraneous to give her any ideas. It is Malini's problem if she imagines anything more now or in the future....and that's her character *shrugs*.....so nothing we can do about it. Adi has made his priorities clear - jisko nahin samajhna woh uski problem.....aage jaake chop hi hogi😆.

Anyways yeh toh future ki baat hai.....for now, Didi is in face-saving mode to prop up her Kunal and show to Adi like she doesn't love him either😆.....baaki her delusions and flips jab honge future mein tab dekh lenge. 😆

If Adi says that he loves Imlie then they definitely will ask the question about you loved Malini also & now you are getting divorced. How can they believe that his feelings for Imlie are true.

But as said by you it all depends on whether writers want to go there & plainly show Adi acknowledging the incompatibility with Didi. Though they have not shown him verbalise this yet but he has said to Imlie that his & Malini's relationship would have ended with or without her. So he at least has thought about this on his own mind. So let's see if he ever gets the opportunity to verbalise this point.

LOL yeh question toh Imlie bhi already puchh chuki hai last week ki how is he so sure that what he feels for her is actually love😆.....and jawaab de diya na Adi ne ki "Kya meri aakhon mein sacchaayi nahin nazar aati"? 😛😆.....toh bas itna hi bolega apni family ko bhi.....ki yeh meri sacchaayi hai ki I love Imlie....mujhe bahut time lag gaya to realize it was never love with Malini aur ab main apni galtiyaan sudhaar raha hoon.....bas😆......writers rarely show him expanding beyond that much.

And since he's only ONCE ever acknowledged that his and Malini's relationship would have fallen apart even without Imlie being in his life, can't be sure if that will be followed up as a continuous point *shrugs*.....lol this is what happens when there is so much drag and disjointedness.....overall story flow goes up in the air.

This is why my expectations are on the low side for this possibility😆....but mil gaya toh pleasant surprise hi hoga😆

The issue here is that everyone other than Adi will be skeptical about his love for Imlie. Hence as you said, either it will require a front view seat on how much Imlie matters to Adi and also how Malini-Adi relationship was only perfect on the surface and with/without Imlie, that relationship was bound to break. I feel that the T's have lot of prejudice where Adi-Malini relationship is concerned. Hence, for them to accept that Adi is with Imlie because he was married to her vs he is in love with her, will take some incidence. If you see, Imlie is also not convinced yet even after he was buried in the ground as he himself said so baki logon ka kya kehana.,....... But i wish they would have followed that thread of T's witnessing "no compatibility" between Adi-Malini after the dinner table conversation. but that also was also lost somewhere 😛...Now either it would be shaadi pehle hui so we might hear them trying to convince Adi that Malini is right, thus playing to Imlie's insecurities unless this Kunal prakats before that. 😆

Yes, if the writers have the guts to follow that line of thought, point toh hain interesting raise karne ke liye.....jab 7 saal ka "marzi" wala rishta nahin chalaa, toh zabardasti ki shaadi wala rishta kaise chalega?😆

It will force Adi and the writers to expand beyond the standard repetition of Imlie humari pehli patni hai, hum yeh rishta nibhana chahte hain😆....cuz phir toh dikhana padega na ki is rishte ki actual gehraayi kya hai beyond just destiny tying them together.....ki why exactly this relationship has the power to last when a 7 year one didn't....cuz this is a soulmate connection.

Ts will continue to hope for AM reconciliation until Malini produces this Kunal guy😆....that is the only way they will grudgingly acknowledge that there is no chance for AM to get together again😆.....otherwise they will always keep viewing this as Adi's lost opportunity that he lost the golden Malini who apparently was the only woman who could jhelo him😆 .

I'm hoping they've kept the Adi Imlie connect intentionally vague thus far - so it can be explored to everyone's satisfaction in the upcoming episodes when Adi has to justify his love for Imlie to T family and C's especially after 7 years of togetherness with Moon and all the PDA - tum sirf meri ho etc.

I wish they will execute this via an organic development process where the T fam see each day different aspects of change in Adi on account of Imlie culminating maybe in a NDE as you said - as opposed to him just saying his 2 lines (pehli patni, late realization) and everyone accepting it because of Malini and Kunal angle taking focus. Makers never seem to want to explore the Adi Malini misfit subject or even how for Adi - all these emotions for Imlie were built over many incidents over a period of time. Even when Adi says he loves Imlie - since they rarely show him internally introspecting and have never depicted his aha moment of realization of love - its hard for me as a viewer to fully accept what he is saying as the truth. Yes in the hut in PG - he realized his love for Imlie - but did it happen in the moment or was it something he was considering since the editor put the idea in his head or even before when he sang - I love you over the prank...or was it when he rescued Imlie over Malini....the timeline of his change in emotions has never been touched on - and that makes his love seem so sudden and difficult to substantiate. I never can tell know whether this is intentional by makers or just a miss in story telling.

Also wanted to add- makers are missing the angle of - Imlie the woman in all this. I know she accepted Adini relationship and has not asked Adi for Wafaadari - mahhaan that she is ...and they have shown her occasional pangs on seeing Adi with Malini. Adi has since regretted his lack of clarity and apologized for all harm done - but it will be nice to see Imlie's own journey of acceptance of her relationship with her sisters bf of 7 years and husband of 7 months. I want to see her exploring her views on this and not just brushing it under the table. She has to have some kind of thought process on the impact this will have on the remainder of her life. Will she never be jealous of their history? Will she always be guilty? All these need to be explored.

Once she gets beyond - Malini did ka kya...I hope she starts thinking on what it means for her as well emotionally before she accepts BBSB.
