I hope they do not flip the sasumaa's when they come to know about Adi-Malini divorce. They have been brought back to Imlie camp in a more firm manner than before. So now them once again going into ema angle should not be done. Whatever they may want with regards to Adi-Malini marriage, they should not be against Imlie.

I feel as if after they get to know that she is their actual bahu, all their sympathies will be for Imlie. But they might be against Adi. They might feel that Imlie should not be in a relationship with Adi. Adi may have to win over his own family to be with Imlie. That would be something new.

Now, how they accept Imlie as their DIL will be the question. They have mentioned about teaching Imlie the whole dunia-daari but will their dunia-daari ka experience come in handy when they come to know about Adi & Imlie's relationship? Will she again become a scapegoat? What will happen is yet to be remained

Not an easy pill to swallow for each T member tbh, because Rupi whole-heartedly has accepted Imlie's truth. Now, it's about remainder of the family and how the past episodes have depicted the characterizations so far or the buildup.

Adi is only opening up to the family with more of sincere feeling regarding Imlie --- it's the T family's take that is in question right now .

I think that would be a fantastic approach towards this truth saga.. Imlie has never been a problem in the entire raita that got failoed..

I don’t even blame Aditya as circumstances and he is already in deep end of guilt towards Imlie.. so yeah it would be nice if they can show that Tripathi’s are not against Imlie or Aditya for that matter but just upset about the turn of events..

They might want Aditya to know that they could have solved things if he was transparent.. that might help these two also to understand that family comes first and family stands by for each other..

I don’t thing EMA will ever resurface again.. they have accepted that Imlie is not wrong.. so then there is nothing to hold against her..

I think that they might not blame Imlie at all, might blame Adi for hiding the truth & not setting things right in the first place but also forgive him.

But they might feel that Adi-Imlie should not remain married just because they were married. They will doubt their compatibility with each other. There are a lot of surface differences between Adi & Imlie like personalities, background, age gap, etc. It will be difficult for them to see them as a couple.

This would also be a good opportunity to explore the point about a right partner. Adi-Malini were a perfect match on paper but still were so incompatible while Adi-Imlie are a disastrous match on paper but really compatible. So we might get our long awaited discussion from Adi as to why Imlie is the one for him & why is Adi the one for Imlie. This could be such a good track.

I also feel that they should not bring the EMA angle again. They should have continued with it if they wanted it instead of giving us a reconciliation. So that should be out of the picture.

As I have explained in another post that they might just feel that Adi-Imlie are not a right match for each other. Also that their marriage was forced might also play a role. They may be concerned about Imlie being too young & naive to be in a relationship with Adi.

I feel they need to see that Adi & Imlie truly love each other & are the correct partners. Yes, they have seen Adi showing concern & care for Imlie but they have also witnessed his rude behaviour with her & he actually went ahead to get married to Malini. That is the biggest mistake that he made. So they might require to see how well matched Adi-Imlie are as jeevansaathi to be in favour of their relationship.

@ bold - yes they are there but look what happened to shaadi that had everything perfect?? the falling apart of Aditya n Malini's marriage has been in front of Ts as well as building of Aditya Imlies relation..

Right now no one is even thinking on these lines but once truth will surface.. i am sure Aparna and pankaj will remember the scene after Adityas 3rd PD trip where he says life partner should be completely opposite to you.. That scene had soo much packed about how polar opposite thinking Aditya and Malini has and how dilutional they have been in thinking about their life choices..

Only possible bump can be the background... also Imlie being Dev's daughter.. again that cant be hold against Aditya and Imlie but it may cause some turbulence..

there are couple of scenes where thy can have flash backs.. like when Aparna was talking to Aditya and he said love pyaar mere bas ka nahi hai but i like didi... also all the fights they have had.. everything was for public consumption.. it wont take long for anyone to see that compatibility thi hi nahi...

On other hand Imlie has always tried to save Aditya from family;s wrath.. be it non ntry to his room or him bringing her back from hostel.. she tried to keep the unit going... so hopefully characters and writers remember what they have shown...

Today's episode began with Imlie's earnest prayer for loser D's health. Aparna and Radha hear her prayer and express remorse at their behaviour. Imlie is like SM hold on to that thought, I need to hear what my sasumaa and taiji think first . I loved Aparna's dialogue "Iske maa ne ise pyaar se sunna sikhaya hai, mein ise pyaar se sunana sikhaungi". Imlie is touched and happy that they are thinking so much for her.

Today Aparna and Radha's remorse more genuine than it did on the t-fam dance day. And Imlie toh hai hi imlie she tries to alleviate their pain by commenting on their badti umar and they are successfully distracted.

But Radha persists and asks why she did not complain even once? Imlie responds with what we always knew, because they were her apne. It was Radha and aparna's turn to be touched.

At the hospital, Adi gets didi coffee with sugar just the right amount for didi. This scene establishes that there is a familiarity between them because of seven years of saath.They know each others likes and dislikes. Didi is touched but she wants to quickly get rid of Adi. So didi lies that KC aarahe hai. I so wished Adi said oh nice. Let me meet him today. didi ka chehra dekhne layak hota. Coffee peethe peethe didi ko apni engagement ring dikh jaati hai. She forgets that she is at hospital and yells for Adi to stop. She tries to return the ring but Adi is like mein iska kya karu? rakho apne paas. Consider it a token of our friendship. Didi says i will ensure it reaches the right place. It doesnt take genius to figure out that ab yeh ring imlie ko milega. Didi kabhi saari utaar kar deti hai toh kabhi ring utar kar. We should get used to this now. Waise toh didi ke har ek vichaar sunke gussa aata hai, but aaj unka "mein tumko dono haq dilwana chahti hoon imlie" sunke mein bohut irritate hogayi.

Hadd hai. Didi ke self importance and ego at full display. She cannot take it that aditya is dumping her for imlie. So she is twisting the situation to think that she is giving up on Aditya to give imlie her haq.

After watching yesterday's precap, i was wondering what must have happened that Imlie revolved against Anu's abuse. Today we know. Aditya happened. Waise toh Aditya has to protect imlie from everyone, but most importantly he needs to protect imlie from imlie. Today he did that; He pressed all the right buttons to press to fill imlie with strength.

Imlie waits at door for Aditya's return as she wants to know about loser D's health and she bombards Aditya with thousand questions about D's health as soon as Aditya enters home. She breathes a sigh of relief when she hears that D is stable. She requests Adi to let her visit the hospital. Adi asks what if Anu is there? Imlie says she is ready to put up with Anu's abuse.

Adi is irritated and reminds her that she is dadda's beti. She cannot put up with abuse.To drive the point home he asks her to think about how dadda will feel when he knows about how Anu treats her and how imlie puts up with her abuse. As Aditya walks away in irritation, Imlie is filled with shame at thought of disappointing dadda.

Aditya stops midway because he knows that he hurt her and wants to make her feel better. He gathers his limited patience and calls her to come close to him. He assures her that he can protect her from everything but she also needs to learn to protect herself. Imlie cutely agrees and tries to joke that she should have raised her voice when a shehri.. And Aditya is filled with remorse now. He says imlie would not have been in this position if he raised his voice at the right time. Imlie's turn to make him feel better. He extracts a promise from Imlie that she will protect herself. Watch out Anu. You will be meeting a new improved Imlie now

Next morning, imlie visits Malini in hospital and we are treated to heart touching, not at all fake behan prem. Malini asks her how is everything at college. Imlie says every eet at college misses her. I was as i remembered the scene where imlie goes to the staff room and asks for professor Malini and a staff member is like Malini who; Eet and pattar hi yaad karte honge didi ko.insaan toh yaad nai karte.

Yesterday i was feeling sorry for Dev when he suffered a stroke. Today that sorry flew out of the window when he tries to get imlie to call him papa without revealing the truth.

She isn't blindly blocking out Adi now....she confers with him....like today she talked to him about wanting to go see Dev in the hospital rather than unilaterally just keeping him out of the loop as she's been doing since a while.

And then the way Adi asked for a promise from her for a change😆.....and she calmly gave him the promise with a smile too rather than adding some faltu Didi related condition as usual😆

They are very subtly showing Imlie starting to get used to the idea of them as a unit cuz now when Adi invokes his past regrets about not taking a stand for her also, she is listening, absorbing rather than deflecting.....

I can only hope this continues for a few epis atleast before whatever happens with the ultimatum😆

Yaar, did anyone notice her line that hisab nahi rakhe to barabar kasein karein. I really feel this points to the confrontation tomorrow along with the promise, because even though Imlie looks seedhi and innocent, she is very clear in her hisab (maths usko bahut pasand hai na). She will ensure that AC gets back exactly what she gave her. Also loved the way she teased about his "hisab" as well😆. Also, somewhere in the last few episodes we are seeing the changes in Imlie and all her relations, be it with Adi (more "unit" wala pheel), the T family (acceptance to an extent), Malini (again acceptance that she is connected with Imlie in more ways that just being her sauten) and Dev (where he understood that she will never accept him as her baba). This shows that slowly but steadily Imlie is finding her own ground and will be able to take the correct decision when Adi does throw in the "ultimatum"

@bold - agree. Hope they continue it. Even if it is these five minute scenes they give us as bheek. As long as there is some continuity and structure around it, I’ll take it.

After hearing that "Adityaaa" i really could only picturize that BTS where Gashmeer dances kathak steps to Malini calling him "Aditya Aditya Aditya"🤣

My only issue with Adi & Malini's relationship at this point is the amount that Adi is still involved with her. My concern is that she will mistake it to be more than what it is - which is pure friendship and them knowing each other for 7 years, but she may assume that he still has hidden feelings for her which e is not accepting. Before anyone says anything, I am again reiterating - Adi has never given her any indication to fuel this misunderstanding, but we know didi's character sketch. She is so self obsessed, that she will never want to look beyond her nose to understand what is actually going on. What actually is just friendship and some guilt for involving her in this mess from Adi's side, will be misconstrued by her to be something else altogether, which may add to Imlie's guilt in the future as well.

I also am hoping to get some good scenes. Bahut dino baad aise episodes aaye where we can discuss and understand the motivations behind the characters. Warna toh didi jaap and depression drama se bahar kuch dikh hi nahi raha tha. I am happy that finally they are showing Imlie's chracter growth. I feel till now the growth shown was mainly in Adi's character from they way he was when he first got forcefully married to Imlie to now when he wants to make her his wife in the true sense. I want to see that same growth in Imlie's character as well where from a woman who detested being tied up to another person (she called it bewakoofi) to now wanting to connected to her "forced" husband now turned soulmate in a genuine two-way relationship.
