I agree, he is definitely not feeling bad or he don't have any feeling left for her.... its just his irritating , cursing himself as you said and trying to be calm and stick to topic.

I am here to share what I understood from Virat's reaction after Pakhi asked him why he reminded her of the past when he had claimed that he has forgotten his past.

It was a reaction as that of regret to have spoken what he spoke. He had unknowingly spoken something which had brought up the past. He had gone to her to ask for help and not to be reminded of or remind her of the past.

He realised how foolish he was to have brought that instance to convince her to participate in the skit. It was like blaming himself as how he didn't even think that he should have been conscious or thought about what he should or should not speak.

He had told her that it was all in the past and that he has moved on, he had told her that she needs to understand that they both are married to two different people now, that she should let go of the past. But he had made a mistake by bringing up a thing from their past without giving much of a thought as how it would come across to her. It is his duty too to ensure that he stays in his limits, in his maryada, so even if that was unintentional, slip of a tongue, he felt guilty that he should have taken care to have not brought that up especially to her.

That is why he had immediately clarified that he wasn't there to talk or remember about his past and that he had only come to seek help from her. He was kind of cursing himself that he had spoken something by mistake which made it look as if he has not forgotten the past or as if he was trying to remind her of the past.

Just finished watching the episode. I agree with what you have mentioned. I didn't see any kind of guilt after he spoke about her past. Sometimes we also do such mistakes. Knowingly or unknowingly we say or do things which might bring out our past. The same happened with Virat too. But, immediately he clarified that he hasn't come to talk about his past and he only wanted her help. And, there was no intimacy between them. Infact he even asked her to leave her ego behind and focus on the skit. So, I don't think there anything else in Virat's mind which can be misunderstood.

Very good analysis.👏👏 Though I was cringing before watching the scene, I too felt that this was what they intended to portray. But for me what failed here was how they played it out. The entire scene layout and Virat’s expressions were confusing. He may have regretted bringing out the past but his expressions, his eyes portrayed more of guilt or feeling of sorry for Pakhi or how things had turned out between them. And that’s the reason there are different interpretations of this scene (and our own apprehensions prior to the episode just added to it)

it was an execution flaw (the whole team) + bgm confused everyone. before we've only seen Virat react cold to Pakhi (hospital) & the sudden softness was inconsistent. Tomorrow’s episode would clear everything up.

Me too! But I’m excited about tomorrow’s episode because v-p scene is going to be continued and we’ll get some clarity on Virat’s PoV.
