Very good analysis.👏👏 Though I was cringing before watching the scene, I too felt that this was what they intended to portray. But for me what failed here was how they played it out. The entire scene layout and Virat’s expressions were confusing. He may have regretted bringing out the past but his expressions, his eyes portrayed more of guilt or feeling of sorry for Pakhi or how things had turned out between them. And that’s the reason there are different interpretations of this scene (and our own apprehensions prior to the episode just added to it)

I watched it on YouTube, will watch again on Hotstar later and will let you know. It didn’t look like feeling sorry for their story. How can that be? They shouldn’t show that, they can’t, not at this point 😲.

Thats what. He has moved on and he obviously can’t be thinking that way. And thats the reason we can look at it the you have put it. But its his pleading eyes and expressions dont match up completely to what they intended to portray. He didnt do justice to that scene. My POV🙈

I am here to share what I understood from Virat's reaction after Pakhi asked him why he reminded her of the past when he had claimed that he has forgotten his past.

It was a reaction as that of regret to have spoken what he spoke. He had unknowingly spoken something which had brought up the past. He had gone to her to ask for help and not to be reminded of or remind her of the past.

He realised how foolish he was to have brought that instance to convince her to participate in the skit. It was like blaming himself as how he didn't even think that he should have been conscious or thought about what he should or should not speak.

He had told her that it was all in the past and that he has moved on, he had told her that she needs to understand that they both are married to two different people now, that she should let go of the past. But he had made a mistake by bringing up a thing from their past without giving much of a thought as how it would come across to her. It is his duty too to ensure that he stays in his limits, in his maryada, so even if that was unintentional, slip of a tongue, he felt guilty that he should have taken care to have not brought that up especially to her.

That is why he had immediately clarified that he wasn't there to talk or remember about his past and that he had only come to seek help from her. He was kind of cursing himself that he had spoken something by mistake which made it look as if he has not forgotten the past or as if he was trying to remind her of the past.

In that scene Sai is telling Virat is doing the right thing don’t interfere to Pakhi.

If you remember when Virat held the hand in lunch scene Pakhi was the first one to run to Virat and tried stopping him. And now they are showing her differently as if supporting domestic violence 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s nothing but inconsistent writing. Waise bhi the Pakhi character is badly written and portrayed by a below average actress.

Now this bad writing is spread to all characters and with added bonus of inconsistency.

Or probably we have to draw parallel that Pakhi has gone from grey to black pura villain bangayi by supporting domestic violence 😂😂

Very true, I agree. It is highly disappointing. Thankfully we all had good fun interacting with each other 😍. I enjoyed that more than the show and I am sure many feel the same. We all had something in common which was this show. Saath me milkar bash karte hain in logon ko 🤣
