This might be an unpopular opinion but I personally don't think he has reached the point where I can say - oh yeah, this man is in love. Not yet. Not yet.
Most probably, he doesn't really love her though does have strong feelings for her. That way, his heart ached to see her becoming someone else's because deep down he holds this desire and silently weaves the dream castles of a life with her despite knowing all of it just cannot come true. He holds his ground neither to confess his feelings nor to accept hers because apparently he, no matter what, cannot let down his family that once his mother did. And that is okay. We get the character's internal conflict- but
But - when he has come to see and understand who Ishqi at her core is - he, who has seen her putting aside her self respect for his sister - when he, who has seen her not minding taunts but still standing up for his sister and apparently what she felt right - when he has seen that she can be anything but intentionally evil and a hombteaker || him saying and doing what he did makes no sense and screams poor character planning and development.
And you rightly said. This guy can force his sister (well ideally not even her but well - we know how it is) because they share a relation. He practically has no right to call Ishqi out for anything and definitely holds no right to force her to marry someone if she doesn't want to.
Establish a relationship first- even if it's friendship before burdening her any decisions.
You r right even I believe he is not in love but feels strongly for her . May be love is budding in his heart even he may be not knowing it and it will take time to grow and for realisation it will take even more time .
I am going to wait and see if they can justify Ahaan. I hope they do. I really like these two. đ¤

Justifying Ahaan is going to be a WRONG move if writers try to do so. In my opinion there is absolutely no need to justify him. Keep him wrong, keep him flawed... Bas he should voice out his reasons (Like he does in front of Kartik) and those reasons needs to be sane. Old school ho but aisa ho ki old school wale relate kar paye đ Old school wale revenge nehi lete phirte gairo se. I am reserving my comments till Actual episode. I want to hear him when he is talking with Kartik or himself or with Ishqi and NOT when Rhea is around 𤪠Just my view đł
I posted this in another thread but might as well copy it here:
The waitress thing could also be for extra cash. Think of the Mausa-Mausi angle. The Ahaan-Mayank house deposit is probably gone ... and maybe that is what AVM did to âtabahâ Ishqi.
Perhaps Ishqi finally saved or is saving money to get her own place and sheâs working odd jobs on weekends to accomplish that. She is still marketing manager on weekdays and this in evening / weekend.
Also she could be using the extra cash to further her education to Become something ... Iâm just hoping this will turn out to be a good surprise for us. Perhaps the toxic ppl will think how sheâs all poor and destroyed her life by rejecting Mayank and now has to serve tables ... but it could be just a one off and she turns out to be more accomplished lol.
Ahaan shows full right on Ishqi in front of everyone, not even her mausi does itđ¤Ł. How canât anyone see it?
I was wondering if it would be Rhea who will leave Ahaan when she sees his love for Ishqi. After so much family rant, what would make Ahaan to break his alliance with Rhea?đ

Ishqi was a Marketing Manager? Seriously? đ˛
No corporate experience, seedha Marketing Manager. Wow yaar
I hope the makers know of hierarchies at workplace.
But itne badi baatein hojati hai ITV pe, yeh to mention karne layak bhi nai
Looks like the weekend gave us time to calm down and see AVMs point of view (even though I don't fully agree with him) we are now past the anger phase and into the humor and sarcasm phase đ¤Ł. Hope they done make us angry on Monday again. But with that goddamn police there better be some logical explanation (so far in the show nothing was that weird, but you never know)
