Actually you can talk. I live abroad and have a security camera installed for my mum living in India alone. I do talk through the microphone. And they can respond too.

oh good knowledge then. We will upgrade ours too to have ability to speak..I have one for my mom in the kitchen to see what dishes she is making and how etc..lol..It helps feel their presence even if they arent in your physical home.

Yes you get the ones that you can see and talk, we have one in living room when we go to work, so we can see and talk to the kids. But it has account login and privacy that data is not available just like that. In fact you can also turn the camera angle from the app so you get complete view when you want.

But in RR context I didn't like it...would hate it if hubby would use it on me without asking. :)

No cameras in the bedroom. That was a major blunder. Hope they address it and finish it off. It was a major blunder and I don’t like it at all.
