+1. I didn’t like this- maybe unpopular opinion. But forced shaadi by phekoing sindoor is not done. And shaurya thinking nothing wrong in this is the biggest problem

I kind of knew that Anokhi would have accepted the marriage. Her not accepting the marriage would have created a bigger uproar than her accepting it from a smaller group of audience. They do have to consider their target audience afterall. There will be no story told if the show doesnt run on.

But I can let this slide. For her to silently accept this marriage, while denying it to Shaurya. She does love him afterall and mentioned about wanting to have both her and him. "Lekin kya yeh ho payega?".

That said, I couldnt quite get the Kanchan-Shaurya conversation either. When she began the whole Bachlan se hum ladkiyan line, I was surprised. I thought perhaps they were now going to make her the cushioned voice of Anokhi for Shaurya to hear. But then that took a turn. I suppose, her word in the end became more of a push Shaurya needed that perhaps there might be room for Anokhi to hold significance to this marriage. Althought, I see no point to it since Anokhi had already told him that she would give it a chance were to show signs of changes.

Dislike the sindoor trope on ITV but appreciate them for giving Anokhi the dialogues they gave her regarding it, right off the bat. Sure, it might not be the most perfect way to deal with it. But its a step in the right direction. And that I can get behind.

Dont think this is entirely an unpopular opinion on this forum. Quite a few are not fans of the sindoor shaadi. Shaurya not thinking its wrong IS a problem. Which I guess Anokhi herself says. No minced words.

Indians don't expect man to wear any such symbolism... Atleast in western culture you have wedding bands for both the gender... Here we see Shaurya wearing wedding band of Shagun and marrying Anokhi 🤪

Well, I didn't expect this from Kanchan atleast. As for Shaurya, I think he should sit and think of whatever Anokhi said.

These days even we have customized engagement rings na.. I have seen lot of my friends(men) wearing rings on which the wife's name is engraved. Especially if they get married in their early 20s, just to show that he's taken. So change is coming, but not many are ready to accept it. The patriarchy is still there. Since we are discussing this, I'd love to see Shaurya wearing something which shows that he's taken❤️

I don't think even makers are trying to glorify it... But they won't outright show Shaurya was wrong because he is Male Lead... And he will somehow 'correct' this act in future by convincing Anokhi of changed behavior... And he has to be forgiven anyhow...

Anokhi's acceptance and decision to wear it is her choice.. My problem with makers today is the way they made Kanchan calling it a lifetime commitment... Kanchan's confidence that Anokhi would be considering this so seriously is my problem! Makers are messing this up after fabulous writing of 2 days!

And I guess that's where some the opinions become against the mainstream followers... because we don't blindly agree with whatever ML/FL does.. Or whoever supports them..

The way he entered behind her and the background music legit gave serial killer vibe. And the maniac look in his eyes...crime petrol starts like that. He don't need a girl, and honestly at this point I have stopped blaming his childhood as an excuse for his behaviour. He has a lot of issues and he's dragging another girl into it. Anokhi literally escape one hell only to crash into another. And her bhasan went above his head as usual, just like she herself forgot about forced shadi 2 min later. There is no point stanning either of them. They deserve each other.

He believes he needs a woman's love to solve all his problems 🤣 Anokhi had the charm only till first half of yesterday's episode... Her condition of accepting marriage was damn annoying... And like... I would say NONE of her Business!!

Coming to Sindoor thing in lone time... Anokhi calling herself Mrs. Anokhi Shaurya Saberwal was big let down to whole concept of the show which started off with... Mein Anokhi hoon... Before being someone's daughter or someone's wife... I am Anokhi... All went down the drain with those words uttered! But OK... ITv hai.. maan lete hai... I too melted seeing Shaurya cry when she refused the Shaadi (because I am fool too😆 I legit believe that for yesterday... But I am back to sensible mode now... Crying after doing stupidity is not worth lot of sympathy )...

The problem is that they tried calling out all the Misogynistic issues in a single episode and included everything overstuffing with speech, lectures and facts! Hence, now when they are back to stupid cheesy love story, you cannot enjoy it...

As I have always said... This is one show where I ship couple to argue, have conflicts and talk... Rather than romance each other in garden, terrace or campus 😆... Seriously! Once in a while, it's fine, refreshing and needed... Teenage romance all the time is too much to digest... . I watched confession only once... Filmy romance film mein dekh lenge... But I literally watched that scene of her questioning Shaurya, his arguments, and her responses quite many times... She was so practical! But then goes off edge in love...

Kanchan's words towards end were real deal breaker for me!..

She should have pushed on point that no matter a woman might not be able to get past your action because of the drills made in the childhood!

Sindoor part was quite an example of Shaurya's misogynistic views and I understand it was needed... But I still don't think Anokhi's acceptance was critical... But given its ITV and that they have to show her faith in Shaurya... She kept up with nonsense but atleast don't show that now she has accepted it because she believes nonsense Kanchan said... But because she trusts him or is in love... And just keep it till her acceptance of respect... And not have her be all happy and excited about this marriage... Please... She didn't leave her marriage to come here and get married... Only reluctance of removing sindoor should have been fine...

That' I dont want to become astha ma'am came out of nowhere. Makers just put it to add another conflict and add astha in their story nothing else. Women's love...huh some love it is. The moment anokhi is like we should part away bca we are incompatible like a chapri teenager we see on tiktok/reels he was like oh so u don't love me 👎🏼

Woh anokhi thi. Sindoor aya and uniqueness gaya. The whole back and forth was great to watch but after a point it's like anokhi is the only one freaking out hyperventing whereas he give no flying fukc about anything. Whatever she said it didn't reach his head, nothing came out of it other than a half ass "u accept your mom I will accept this" deal. Nothing she said impacted him. When she said he's trying to control him he laughed it off like oho shadi k bar pehli ladai and u making a big deal out of it. Watching him is frustrating.

Wahi. To satisfy fans who wanted kv back they gave 1.5 epis of them only and to keep the fans happy gave this bone like ye lo, tumhara soch ki takkar. On other side ye sindoor ka **** v lelo cause lol drama. There was no point in anokhi saying all those lines, not only cz she accepted the joke of a shadi, but cz not one word of it reached S. He don't care. She's his to romance now. The mrs .

High time shaurya grow up. Just bloody act his age. He needs to sit down, think calmly. Always pulling her close, just being in his lala land won't solve jackshit. And look again it came to other women to rescue him...his mom is here to challenge his badi ma, anokhi here to fix the mom son baap issues, badi ma is here to fight on beta. Bas professor ji baithke tamasha dekhe and raita felay. Dude isn't half the worth all these women are fighting over, I am not even taking into consideration shagun who left her life for this trash and kanchan who needs to get a hobby

Whatever points anokhi had he didn't have answer for even one question. He never assured her that he is there, he wil help her. He will be her support. Shaurya won't care till Anokhi actually rubs of that silly joke from her forehead... And I guess they might drag this ShaStha reaches some conclusion... So, let's see... The way he reached out to Astha today was enough to tell him how he understood Anokhi's concern... That speech was only for audience to hear 😆

Breaking of her heart is definitely on her hand now...
