Bank nomination need nominees signature? - Page 2

No such thing. I thought about this too. Then I realized the conversation she had with herself before barging in was representative of her state of mind. She just wanted to go see what's happening and she got an eyeful and a earful for her efforts! 😂

I don't think close relation is requisite to make someone nominee, but you need mention how you are related to that person.

Well I have account in SBI. And I remember filling nomination form at the time of account opening. They only asked to write the name of nominee, his/her age and how he/she is related to me. Then my signature. Bank never asked nominee's signature. Banks do ask you , how is the personal related to you Right? Will take the answer, my cousin devar, when she has her parents and her widow mother-in-law , while her husband is MIA.. ?Even the bank wala would suggest her to put her MIL's name, because of the fragile state she is in ..

Now how can she pretend that she came for the medicines as his wife is already there. So she wanted to discuss about something personal which is this nominee thing. 🤣 Which backfired too because both SaiRat believed this wasn't an important thing and could have waited till next morning. 🤣

Aap jo bol rahe ho vo sahi lekin a person first preference would his or her close family members which include parents , spouse , siblings or children.

No person will make any distance relative or friend her nominee , like in my relation recently due to corona in a family only 2 teenagers r left parents & grandmother died now both teenagers will make nominee each other or in future their spouse or kids or any friend or distance relative .

In India, Legally speaking I can nominate your spouse /parents/ children only. In certain cases siblings can be nominated if backed by a registered will

The nominee shall have relationship by marriage or blood only.

This is applicable for bank and financial transactions

I was just stating technical point of view.

It is usually a guarantor whose signature is required when one is taking a loan.

Had she said guarantor it would have at least made sense.

I too thought the same as I too work in bank
