Anokhi will "Drive" Shaurya - Hmm... Fair /Unfair

Firstly, definitely not a post for those who found today's episode to be perfect! ❤️

I enjoyed watching today's episode too, but nothing can beat that episode on Saturday!

So, KV did say in the interview that Anokhi will now 'drive' Shaurya... But when it comes to relationship, it is more important to understand other person's perspective and their reasons rather than forcing one's own perception on each other... Till yesterday it was Shaurya and today it was Anokhi so either way its unfair! If forcing or pushing woman to make decisions of her life is unfair same does apply to another gender!!!

If Anokhi cannot accept being, I did not like her posing this condition to Shaurya of accepting Astha and somewhere I couldn't help but compare it what Devi did! One of those rare episodes where I genuinely felt bad for Shaurya!!! His pleading and begging to get a chance was 💔

I am not saying whatever he did was right! He somewhere got impulsive and tried pushing this decision on her but he also realized that this is not how it will work when it comes to Anokhi... But it cannot be undone nor does he want this to be undone or disregarded...

Anokhi is also kind of forcing him to accept Astha in his life to have her accept this marriage... And somewhere Shaurya has 'proove' his love by trying to by giving place to Astha in his life...

Devi forced him to get engaged to Shagun by asking him to 'proove' his care and respect for her!

Her words should have been enough regarding Astha, and actually she should have let him reflect and realize his follies and take some action rather than putting across this condition. Astha had also once told her that saying sorry just because he is sorry won't be worth it and won't reach her heart.. But here somewhere pushing him to accept his mother to prove love to Anokhi is another level of insanity!!!

And of course they had to show Anokhi's acceptance in lone so that it is known that the marriage isn't forced and acceptable in ITV and its standard😆 but glad she gave it back to him for this act! As much as condition was disappointing...

To make it clear! Problem is Anokhi does not know Shaurya's perspective at all! And her demand hence seems unreasonable to me...

Today's episode was logically perfect. All Anokhi did was, she reminded Shaurya that she is a reflection of Aasta and she will make all the same choices that Aasta did if ever Anokhi is in the same situation. Shaurya never understood Aasta, how can he promise to be with Anokhi. It's a very valid question.

About Anokhi 'driving' Shaurya, Anokhi gave a choice to Shaurya to mend his ways with Aasta whereas BM literally blackmailed him. At this point, Shaurya can walk away from that and say sorry I can't mend my ways with Aasta, ta ta bye bye. BM did not give him that choice with all the breathing exercise done during that scene.

But Shaurya did not walk away and he accepted that challenge from Anokhi. Its an unresolved chapter of Shaurya Sabarwals past and Anokhi just forced him to take a fresh look at it.

I am not talking about rest of the scenes, she was on point and she nailed it! Undoubtedly she was not wrong in everything she said or did.. Just that her clear demand to prove that he is capable of changing in love by accepting Astha was little bit off for me...

Agreed major difference was that Badi Maa didn't give him 'time' to take a call whereas she is giving him as much time as he wants but still it's somewhere a blackmail for a person who is so deeply emotionally involved with his 'wife' 😆

well Lets say I don’t like people who smoke and no matter what I can not accept a person with smoking habit. I can asks my ‘prospective’ hubby to stop smoking if he wants to be in relationship with me. its totally ok. Love does not have to override that preference(especially an unhealthy one). I think its the same analogy. its not about driving the other person, it’s about taking a stand and being clear headed.

Again yaar, there is a difference in these two things... One is habit, like said in Saturday's episode... Aadatein badli jaa sakti hai...

But what we are talking is literally a soch or emotion towards another person... What upsets me here is that Anokhi has never really tried understanding Shaurya's emotions and anger towards Astha... It is not an easy thing... Had she been well versed with what Astha did and her conditions and whatever Saberwals did was completely a different picture... But her keeping this thing without knowing any of it is unfair to Shaurya... That's all I am saying... It really seems like Shaurya is the only one who needs to change... And accept things for good...

Shaurya's hatred towards Astha is not because of any MISOGYNISTIC view... Or maybe a cause of it... But its because of what he had faced emotionally... There were so many other instances to focus on

Anger, jealousy, posessiveness, and all that but Astha and Shaurya actually has different directions altogether...

Exactly the point... After Anokhi's dialogues it should have been enough for him to reflect... But itna jyada bol dena... And expecting him to sort out with Astha is too much 😆

I don’t think she is blackmailing him. I think, What she has understood is he is this way bcs of his familty and aastha is facing whatever she is bcs of his family; after anokhi’s face off with Devi. She has understood that it his family who has instilled this soch in him (she said the same to Devi ki now I understand why shaurya thinks the way he does)

Bcs she knows aastha so well, she knows she is exact opposite to sabherwals. Isi liye she thought ki for him to start the change, he needs to first understand aastha.

Also, shaurya forced her to marry him but she is giving him a choice. The choice essentially is that either he has to change his mentality or either he should walk away. It’s just that she has understood that his mentality is tied to aastha, so that’s from where he needs to start. I am not seeing it as a condition. She isn’t binding him to any relation like Devi was. She is infact trying to free him from the web of lies, manipulation and his soch. By giving him this choice, she is putting the ball in his court.

Or maybe I am biased towards anokhi a little lol. Like I watched the episode thinking ki I will support anokhi😆 isi liye ho sakta hai I didn’t find anything wrong in what she said (except the last dialogue but it was kind of coming, it’s itv at the end🥱)

From shaurya’s pov though, as much as I feel bad for him; there was something extreme needed for him to even speak to aastha; to open up to her. This was that extreme. The process will be painful; but he needs to know the truth and he wouldn’t have tried to understand her in any other situation. Anokhi is involved hence I believe he will somewhere keep an open mind while listening to aastha.
