I used to enjoy watching ishqbaaaz as well.Rather when I started watching iss pyaar ko kya naam doon On hotstar few days ago,I realised similarities between Sso and arnav.The show was so similiar yet different to IPK in different way.

I heard that Gul had initially/originally planned swimming pool scenes of shivaay -annika throwing each other in pool for arnav-kushi but unfortunately at their time the depth pool was too shallow so they had to manage using the outside of it. The show was good but consisted of illogical tracks and the ending was pathetic.you know even for ishqbaaaz when female lead left the show,their was a havoc and twitter trends, leading the show to be shut in just 3-4 months post leap😂

I sometimes Gul does this purposely do make her show remember cause bad publicity is also publicity

Did karan singh Grover's character die in qubool hai?He is mostly remember as Armaan than the character in the show.

I couldn't watch IPK post sheetal track.i remember skipping/fast forwarding epsiodes to watch khushi-arnav scenes.Also since sheetal track,barun screen presence was also reduced, probably they were planning his exit track since then.

Oh,I also read that writers had planned Arnav's death where he willingly sacrifice himself for kushi and the his replacement had shooted for month.Thank God the show ended without any death scene and touch wood made the show so iconic and loveable.

It might have been difficult for everyone back then but it was the best for actors,team,audience.

The whole setup reminded me of Arshi..however I never watched the show as a fan..would watch on and off if someone would be watching in my room.. I liked the female lead and the other two brothers.. but thats to it.. Heard they halted one story.. then went for an alternate world..where they killed the leads...and brought in the son..

QH, KSG left the show, they brought in some other guy.. then killed the leads and then went on with the daughters...then got in some kaala jadu.. That show became a joke by the time it ended... IPK3 we all know what a mess it was.. I still sometimes think, when Barun is so picky about the content he wants to work in, why would he chose IPK3😆

Also I watched ek jashan(8 episodes aired on Hotstar,2015) behind the scenes where both Barun & Sanaya admitted that they are uncomfortable romancing each other since they are a more like a family now.

Also,this could be the reason why Sanaya didn't come back for IPKKND 3.

Nonetheless, I just wish we get to see their their sizzling chemistry again irrespective of medium.They are sharukh-kajol of itv

I don’t think that’s the reason. Years ago, Sanaya always said how Barun treated her like a boy offscreen and the chemistry was so good because of the comfort they had for each other. They were always comfortable with one another.

I guess, it’s just an excuse because, 10 years later they would definitely want to cast a younger actress. Sanaya is still gorgeous but that’s how showbiz works. Also, Barun seems to be interested in non romance roles these days.

His persistence on not taking up these shows , eventually worked for him as he landed with Asur , which even though not getting a platform like Prime, Netflix or for that matter Hotstar, worked well , got fame and also helped him prove that he is a good actor after all.. How smoothly and quietly he shut all his haters with Asur..

I did see that part in Ek Jashn BTS where they kept mentioning that they are more close now as a family and romance kind off makes them feel awkward,.. Then again they never try to post a pic where there are only the two of them, while they have pictures with everyone else in this family on their social handles.. Even the friends would not post pictures of the two together.. Certainly all that amount of shipping them in real life and abuse their partners had to go through, affected them for sure..

Did you notice their response when Gul asked them if they would have dated in real life had they not been in committed relationship/ married when they first met each other? Sanaya looked unsure at first 😆

Anyways, I’m amazed at the love Barun has for his wife. He seems head over heels in love and smitten with her even after so many years. Like sacha pyar they show in movies and tv shows. So sweet.

But as much as I love and adore Sanaya, she doesn’t look as fresh and she did in IPKKND. Sadly, we women don’t look as good in our late 30s (and then there’s competition with younger actresses). For some reason, Barun seems to look better with age..he has aged like fine wine.

Yes I didn’t watch much of the show but the female lead’s attire was atrocious. It put me off from the promo itself.

She looked like a k tv serial heroine. Khushi was so relatable and natural, both in her character and her way of dressing/ carrying herself.

Sanaya , I guess the reason could be that she has lost a lot of weight.. During Khushi/colors show , she was fine weight wise as well.. There is a weird craze to not eat carbs, lose weight and what not. That way if you see Anita Hasanandani looks fab even at 40.. Rati looks great.. Shweta Tiwari has been looking so good, even Riddhi Dogra looks beautiful.. Jennifer WInget is fab.. I guess more than age, her weight loss is the reason behind losing that glow..Even Mohit looked really really thin in the recent pics.. You need to have some weight around your face..your body to glow.. Sanaya has lost her beautiful cheeks sadly 😔

I think different people age differently.

Sanaya has always said that she doesn’t put on weight.

I remember watching welcome mehman nawaazi years ago (2007-08?) , she was there in one of the episodes. When other contestants were invited as guests at her place, they were shocked by her food. I don’t remember all the participants, one of them was Ragini Khanna I guess. Someone was like, “ where is roti, sabzi?” and sanaya was like.” Main toh yeh sab hi khaati hu”. I think it was mostly salad 😆

I have been trying to find the episode ever since. I need to follow her diet 😆

But honestly I still find her pretty. Ageing is quite normal and she looks fit and healthy. I feel it is unfair to compare her with what she looked like 10yrs ago.there is ought to have a change.
