I am a very silent observer here on the forum but I felt the need to say something in this discussion.

I know there are a lot of inconsistencies with Pallavi’s character but I think we as viewers have to let them slide. Even I get irritated with plot holes etc in fact I get infuriated to such an extent that I stop watching the show altogether but considering the pandemic, the fact that they have kept filming and not missed a single episode even when the female lead fell sick and couldn’t shoot is in itself commendable. On top of the pandemic and a sick FL the show has been given a weird time slot which is probably the cause of low trp which must be putting the production house under immense pressure because low trp might result in the show being canceled. The fact that Shivangi was sick and unavailable for shoot must be the reason why the PH had to go in this direction to at least prevent trp from falling.

Now that Shivangi is well enough to start shooting again, we might get to see the inconsistencies getting resolved because we did get a BTS pic where Pallavi seemingly looks angry and hurt and Raghav trying to pacify her.

We as viewers do not understand the logistical issues of a shoot so we shouldn’t be so quick to judge especially during such trying times when all actors and the PH are working hard amidst a lot of difficulties to give us a show that for me is an escape from all the terrible stuff happening all around and gives me a few minutes of peace and laughter and many people share this very opinion because of which majority people here on the forum were okay with one or two inconsistencies like that in the hair combing scene and simply chose to enjoy the scene rather than pointing out the flaw.

I absolutely agree with this. Considering the pandemic situation, lockdown, Shivangi getting sick and low TRP, it must be a huge pressure on the PH. They have to be prepared for anything now. I remember last year some show was just sacked midway without giving any notice nor any end, so SP can take any decision depending on how this pandemic goes. I think we just have to understand the situation and just enjoy the show for all the hard work they are doing. If it was usual times, even I would have been upset with the inconsistencies but situation is different and they are doing all the best they can to atleast maintain the TRP. Let’s hope for the best. I could see Sai sweating in the heat in some of the scenes. Really felt bad. They must have worked extra hard to get the bank of episodes as well.

I agree, right now I want them to at least spare farhad, nikhil and Krishna's characters. Although I am not liking what they are doing with Farhad nowadays. I want the old grey Raghav back, just like he was in the first episode. Because that episode lives in my heart, especially the shot where he stands in the doorway with a drink and the chandelier in the background.

Yes I am glad fast paced hai show but Pallu ke motives samjh nhi aate mujhe honestly🤡

My complain/disappointment is that when they ARE shooting despite of everything and we know how much the actors and everyone else are slogging..I mean Sai works non stop and poor Shivangi looks so frail these days, then why ruin what they built so far, why make the characters behave out of sync with the ongoing track? Pallavi is in character..she is forgiving and magnanimous we know that but right now its plain odd for her to be joking around with Raghav, or getting impressed by the lil things his is doing for her..even Raghav's character has lost the edge. I wish they stop panicking over TRPs if they are..I'd rather see a limited episodes show with solid content than a dragfest with half baked plots. Unless they are looking to wrap ..because Bada bindi's expose looked rushed..

I agree that Pallavi has always been a character who wouldn't take revenge despite saying heavy dialogues but I did expect her to mean it once. Coming to her family love, judging from her conversation with Aayi she does see that the family is mistreating her but Pallavi has been shown to blame the external party much more easily. Eg. the abortion drama. Sulochana Kaku and Amrutha are literally defaming her and she wanted to protect them. So they could have done away with that track so that this would make complete sense( because atleast here Raghav had a bunch of proofs .. I still hate Baba). I get that her kind personality will prevent her from going too far and she isn't a doormat but blushing and saying that she likes Saree ka Dukaan more was definitely out of character.

Also I get that they have shown Pallavi is all bark and no bite from the beginning but I would either want the makers to remove badla, kaal, saat janam tak barbaad, uth nahi paoge, etc . type dialogues or atleast show some more indifference or anger towards Raghav.

@bold also words like "mein apni jan de doonki lekin thumse shaadi nahi karungi" "mein apni jan le loongi or uski zimidar sirf tum hogi"

God! How fierce pallavi was in that episode. That happened like a week ago. Compare that Pallavi to pallavi of today's episode! The difference is that of night and day.

Okay, I completely agree with you here!

But somewhere I just took today's scene as a lollipop to cover up the lack of RaghVi scenes and Shivangi's absence!

They seemed to had planned a completely different track post marriage, remember that bts of RR in oldie getup and him getting hurt on the head. Shivangi's absence made them take the story to a lighter turn, because they can't show angst without Pallavi being in the scene! So I just took the scene today as a way to please the fans!😆

Regarding Sulo's truth, I feel it was important to get done with it firsthand to show some progress from Raghav's side! Unless that was cleared, Raghav won't look or think about Pallavi any other way!

I hope they aren't wrapping upand most likely they aren't, it's too soon! Their story needs time and it's so beautiful, I don't wanna lose them early!😒

Also, there's an intense scene/confrontation coming up as per the BTS, raghav teary and pallavi upset, so hoping they get back on the angst again, atleast from Pallavi's side!😊

Raghav will be soft from hereon, that's a given and I am okay with it, because it's high time this guy makes amends, just don't make him lose his edge though!😆

They turned Kahaan hum kahaan tum to total kachra and then just abruptly stopped. Even their most popular show Yeh hai mohabatein had the best main leads. Raman and Ishita had some best one liners and nok jhok. and the best romance. But after they got their son back and all was sorted with kids custody, they whole show turned garbage and still kept running with full steam for many years. But that kind of crap cannot be pulled on audience anymore. One thing I would say though, Raman and Ishita's character traits were not messed with. I stopped after the Ishita's miscarriage plot as it was too heartbreaking. But I know they pulled several cheap tracks off.

We all are spoiled for content with so much online stuff. If they give such loose episodes in a row, whatever little viewership is their they will turn away as well. Gone are the days for YHM and KGGH.

Tat is what I am also saying. If you r shooting despite so much difficulties pls stick with proper screenplay and script . Raghav’s don avatar toning down is a big ‘no’ from my side . I agree he has to Mellow down bcause he has got everything he yearned for but such drastic change I didn’t expect . In every episode he is given some comic element . Earlier also Raghav’s one liners were best but it had the punch also . Now it looks silly and foolish . I didn’t expect pallu will take revenge or so but I expected her to ignore him royally and let him miss tat fierce Pallavi who had that spark in her .We all know Pallavi is such a sweetheart who will love Amma and Keerthi like she did with Deshmukhs but towards Raghav I didn’t expect such reactions. I know after knowing from Amma tat Raghav was left with no choice other than to marry her bcause of Amma’s condition but that revelation need not make her forget what all he did with her character . And it doesn’t justify his doings also . Even if Pallavi was to mellow down CVS should have Atleast given us some monologues from her side so that we all could expect what was going on in her mind .

After reception drama which was well written what we get is some irritating bathroom sequence and now combing scene . Hope tomorrow’s panic attack will give us back our old Raghvis . Have you noticed nowadays they don’t address Raghav as Don but as business magnet . They are whitewashing their own character but what is the need I don’t understand . We all were swooning for the don’s charisma not the businessman . As they made Pallavis widowhood irrelevant now they are making Raghav’s don avatar irrelevant.
Show has taken a completely different route . I have also doubt y they cleared sulu mu in one episode . After marriage show is on a rush as if to achieve something . Earlier it was to finish marriage now it’s to clear mu but then what . What was the need to bring Sunny . They could just explore with existing characters instead of bringing new ones . And this guy ( not actor but character) looks and behaves like a jerk .

EXACTLY my thought. Her character has an inconsistent graph unfortunately and I guess we live with it. I always know Pallu to be all talks no action and revenge and all were just heavy dialogues on her side. She is too soft and may not avenge herself. I’m not saying revenge is nice, but for that kind of character assassination, it’s hard to like a man, forget love.

Raghav is definitely the better written character because of his various shades, he can swing to either side without invoking confusion in the minds of the audience.

Maybe after the revelation, pallavi changes. I want her to question him and the D’s about trust. And not give in to his romantic bouts, even though it’s really tempting 😆 (audience perspective).

Edited: forgot to mention that I really think covid is affecting their shoot. They’re trying hard, and there’s is ALOT of pressure from the audience for romance. I think they’re trying to balance the two and I genuinely feel concerned about their health and safety so I’m definitely letting all this slide. The romantic scene today was so romantic. Any leads as to where I can find such a husband? 😳
