I am a very silent observer here on the forum but I felt the need to say something in this discussion.

I know there are a lot of inconsistencies with Pallavi’s character but I think we as viewers have to let them slide. Even I get irritated with plot holes etc in fact I get infuriated to such an extent that I stop watching the show altogether but considering the pandemic, the fact that they have kept filming and not missed a single episode even when the female lead fell sick and couldn’t shoot is in itself commendable. On top of the pandemic and a sick FL the show has been given a weird time slot which is probably the cause of low trp which must be putting the production house under immense pressure because low trp might result in the show being canceled. The fact that Shivangi was sick and unavailable for shoot must be the reason why the PH had to go in this direction to at least prevent trp from falling.

Now that Shivangi is well enough to start shooting again, we might get to see the inconsistencies getting resolved because we did get a BTS pic where Pallavi seemingly looks angry and hurt and Raghav trying to pacify her.

We as viewers do not understand the logistical issues of a shoot so we shouldn’t be so quick to judge especially during such trying times when all actors and the PH are working hard amidst a lot of difficulties to give us a show that for me is an escape from all the terrible stuff happening all around and gives me a few minutes of peace and laughter and many people share this very opinion because of which majority people here on the forum were okay with one or two inconsistencies like that in the hair combing scene and simply chose to enjoy the scene rather than pointing out the flaw.

I sincerely apologise if my opinion offends anyone here.

I liked the comb scene , it was cute and all, but they did Pallavi wrong . After all that he did to her , she is all smiles and blushing as if nothing happened between them . Then again she doesn't seem to hold grudges for long, let's BWA get away with so much , maybe this is consistent with her character after all. I hope they don't get lovey dovey so soon and let Raghav repent for what he did before she forgives him .

Don't take it wrong only in a light mood view I am saying this

Seems like Pallavi feels refreshed in Rao house. No pressure no extra nautanki no rona dhona,daily ka natak.It seems like she took rest after so long and one thing I like about them they have accepted their marriage be it in a harsh way or whatever it is Raghab and Pallavi don't say about going out of the marriage.

Second point is its just came in my mind may be Pallavi has joined hand with Farhad and amma to change Raghab.So she is trying in her way to take care care of their relationship.

Third ,is she upto Raghab ko pataneka fir hatora marke revenge Leneka?don't think makers will show her character like that

Moreover Pallavi was always like this she forgive and forget so easily even till this time whatever Raghab did to her she still reacted next day normally.

But it feels really good to see her in rao mansion. She stays like queen there.

Now it can very well be that Pallavi feels comfortable with him and his family, and reverts to that child like girl we saw in earlier episodes. Her serious self comes out only with the Deshmukhs. And that RaghVi share a special bond that no amount of nafrat bhare vaade can change.

But this inconsistency does become confusing for a viewer like me, who is expecting a steady progression instead of sudden U turns 🤷‍♀️

Raghav is the better written character out of both of them. He has a soft heart despite being a tax chor (kyunki Don wala aisa kuch nahi kiya hai usne 😆). So now that his Amma and sister are at home, I can understand him moving on from the revenge easily. He even knows the truth now, so would likely soften. But would have been nicer to see some guilt and remorse for what he did to Pallavi.

Also, show is not dragging, that’s a relief! But I can’t help wondering what else is left? RaghVi are married, Amma Keerti are back at the house with Raghav, Deshmukhs will know BWA ka truth...Umm... What next?

I haven't read the whole thread so I might repeat what has already been said but I completely agree with you. They changed the tone of the show too soon, too drastically. However I didn't expect much because, like you said, Pallavi's character has been inconsistent from a very long time now. Secondly, ITV and its audience(me included) do tend to forgive characters easily. Eg. the truck incident or where Pallavi accused Raghav for ruining her family when he was just revealing the truth. Everyone said the character was not redeemable but then came around without a formal apology or even addressing the issue properly on the show. Thirdly, these characters never mean their I hate yous. This has also happened before and Pallavi of all people would probably not do something extreme despite losing everything because.. well .. Pallavi.

I feel like the writers compromised on intensity and character flow to add comedy and light hearted scenes because the show has been so heavy for quite a while. I get that they have had to face a lot of issues due to covid and Shivangi's illness, so they had to adjust and probably also wanted to increase trp by adding romance and humour(apparently Lion track had highest trp and current episodes have a similar tone). But they could have done a better job by at least showing an apology before making her blush or just shown the panic attack scene for romance. This week is nice if I look at it separately but like I said once, the abrupt change makes it feel like a different show. Saturday's episode was the last episode which felt like it fit with the rest of the story. I want them to address what has happened properly at least once in the show but I doubt that will happen. Regardless, hope they stay safe, keep entertaining us, and the writers do a slightly better job shuffling between the tones. The entire crew is working hard and I would wish the best for them.

@Bold - Totally agree with you. I mentioned on another post about viewers expectation and the same applies here. Considering the current climate the fact they are still entertaining us we should be grateful and not continuously point out flaws.

Also we have no knowledge of where they are taking the characters in terms of role development. Maybe this is how they wish to portray them currently with vision of their progression. Who knows! So whilst it’s nice for me to comment on these posts now and then, I simply enjoy the show for what it is without thinking too much about it😊

Her caring mode we have watched in the nursing scene also.

These two were matured characters and were like a man and woman than boy and a girl . Him assuring a frightened Pallavi under the table during lion track also was extremely good bcause we all know Pallavi has never experienced a man’s proximity or protection or closeness or anything like that . And Raghav sniffing her hair had all raw emotions piled up . After getting used to such classic scenes before marriage what we are getting after marriage is such lame tracks and scenes . I have earlier also said that CVS are basking Sai’s popularity and whole show is run on his shoulders but they should understand that even he won’t be able to make up for their flawed writing and inconsistent scripts .

I agree their romance before the marriage seemed much more natural. Even if things became okay between them overnight there would still be a slight awkwardness at becoming husband and wife. Sometimes mature people do behave childishly but this behaviour is just silly. There is no maturity anymore. Maybe next week might be better. Let's wait and watch.

Pallu's character again did a flip..nothing new tbh. I've said this before gonna say it again since the start of the lion track they messed up big time with pallu's characterisation.That time only me and another member didn't at all like her character and seems like again I'm in the minority who's not liking her atm.

Today's and intact all raghvi interaction post wedding except the widow revelation epi looked out of place to me. Raghav's don avatars too went for a toss. 🤪 If we watch the epi only for the couple then it's somewhat enjoyable but from narrative pov each and every character is behaving OOC be it raghav,pallu,amma,keerti now kaku.How come kaku fall for the bait so easily I don't mind the mu getting cleared so soon.There are tons of other tracks they can explore but kaku was OOC today!Hard to believe raghav let go off her so easily after learning she was the one who messed with his amma -behen.Just compare the length he went to punish pallu and kaku.🥱Major disappointment there.I miss the old raghav so damn much!! 😭

Only farhad,nikhil and Krishna somehow got spared from butchering as of now...they better not mess up with Farhad's character😡

I agree, right now I want them to at least spare farhad, nikhil and Krishna's characters. Although I am not liking what they are doing with Farhad nowadays. I want the old grey Raghav back, just like he was in the first episode. Because that episode lives in my heart, especially the shot where he stands in the doorway with a drink and the chandelier in the background.

Vijay's izzat is by that shop not by the daughter who runs it.

So Raghav was not the reason she was separated from her family.

Her aai expect a her to be superwoman and find solution to save family and then when she makes the decision to save the family by marrying Raghav Beti beti nai rahi

When she has only 1000 rs id my beti was here so just for running shop and home expenses she wants beti

Does Pallavi really not see this? No Raghav your wife is not an idiot she sees what her so called family is but just like she didn't kill you because of her sanskar and law same way she is just keeping quiet because of her sanskar This is the family she never had and when she got it she did everything to keep it

Now coming to Raghav

He is the man who kidnapped her Second time too according to her has threatened her forced himself in her life still she used to go at his place befikar hoke now too she is comfortable with the same man why because he does not have any sick intentions towards her and she knows it Raghav has not crossed that line

This nok jhok is their thing

Then fight they threaten they do their nok jhok

He has not crossed the limits she has set even in their marriage and not because Amma and Keerti are there even if they weren't he would not cross that limit Just the two of them and the comfort level is still the same

She has not turned into gopi vahu and for revenge she can't even turn to komolika

She is still the same Pallavi

Her revenge is her own way she doesn't believe in badla she believes in badlaav

Raghav is so proud of himself his attitude his arrogance when he lets go of it She will win her revenge will be over

What did she swear that she will make him pay for every year her family has shed for wvry wrong that happened to her family

How does she do that by making him realize the I.pittance of family by making him smile because he will not forget the tears he have her when he sees her sad smile

That's revenge

She hasn't given up she is still fighting him

She has not turned into some doormat in fro t of whom her husband romances another and she is doing Pati seva

I guess we have differing opinions regarding characters. I agree that Pallavi has always been a character who wouldn't take revenge despite saying heavy dialogues but I did expect her to mean it once. Coming to her family love, judging from her conversation with Aayi she does see that the family is mistreating her but Pallavi has been shown to blame the external party much more easily. Eg. the abortion drama. Sulochana Kaku and Amrutha are literally defaming her and she wanted to protect them. So they could have done away with that track so that this would make complete sense( because atleast here Raghav had a bunch of proofs .. I still hate Baba). Coming to Aayi, I feel like she was wrong in wanting Pallavi to be a superwoman but there was no ill will. Even biological mothers make mistakes in parenting but that doesn't mean they aren't a mother. Baba is trash. I get that she trusts Raghav not to do anything disgusting, but she did believe that he took everything from her. I get that her kind personality will prevent her from going too far and she isn't a doormat but blushing and saying that she likes Saree ka Dukaan more was definitely out of character.

Also I get that they have shown Pallavi is all bark and no bite from the beginning but I would either want the makers to remove badla, kaal, saat janam tak barbaad, uth nahi paoge, etc . type dialogues or atleast show some more indifference or anger towards Raghav.

I always thought kuch inner turmoil dikhaye Pallu ka or some hallucinations related to her first marriage after her marriage with Raghav.

She married him for revenge so I thought ye harr din drame kregi sindoor nhi lagaegi but ulta ye saj sawar rahii...asaani se shop ke keys leli ab show mein aur kya dikhaenge....??

Yes I am glad fast paced hai show but Pallu ke motives samjh nhi aate mujhe honestly🤡

Ya , even I agree the only characters tat remain intact are Nikhil, Krishna and Farhad . Hope they don’t mess with them . Raghav’s don tone is reduced to some lovesick Romeo not tat I have problem with his majnu avatar but this toning down I am not liking much.I expected intense scenes .. Pallavi flips so much tat I have stopped concentrating on her . Since Amma changed her stature also got reduced .
