Exactly, what irritated me in yesterday’s episode was his total submission to Malini. His lines explaining why he is accepting Imlie, I felt like he is pitying Imlie for all the sacrifices she has done. He wants to support her as she is fighting alone, as far as I know Imlie never asked for his support. He offered his support on his own while gifting sindhoor. @bold: I don't think they were trying to show pity or obligation in terms of what Adi feels for Imlie.....the dialogues were kind of vague and underwhelming so I can understand why it may feel like that on a surface level.....but it is also Adi's core personality to speak of things in terms of responsibility and honor. That is what his intent was in terms of describing why he feels the need to give Imlie everything that is rightfully hers even if she never asked for that right......it isn't like he's trying to hand her a chocolate out of pity😆....nibhaaoing this rishta is not an obligation or a compulsion for him.....it is his free will because he loves Imlie. But he was expressing it all also in terms of that being the honorable thing to do after having denied Imlie her rightful haq for so long.

I guess they toned down some dialogues to keep the focus on Malini's shattered emotions and Adi's guilt......it wasn't the time to describe his intense emotions for Imlie to a woman who's never understood him anyways😆.

Waise bhi Adi's actions speak louder than any words in terms of what Imlie means to him.....anyone seeing his single-minded dedication to Imlie will know that can never be labeled pity😆.....no one goes that distance for anyone out of pity.

Malini is Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I know I ought to feel for her and I do for her situation - but she is just so unbearable the minute she opens her mouth - comes across as so fake and self centred - yet everyone pays homage - what galls me is even Adi. How can Adi not introspect - he token bristles over her bashing of Imli but never does anything substantial. Imagine if this continues for the life of the show. Adi's guilt and lihaas for Malini will oversshadow every good thing between Adi and Imlie. Last time he reacted wass at the Chousse when Malini took Imlie there. What happened to that Adi - lost forever to guilt. I hope not. I watch for that Adi.

So next week is the dhulai and we have 2 days. I want him to focus on why he needs Imlie before he goes to get her. Today's episode - could almost be interpreted as he feeling sorry for her and needing to mete out justice for her. Any love and concern was cloaked to spare MAlini's feelings. The way he said - I can't say it any better than this :( So ok - if this was out of needing to spare Malini. He needs to confront his feelings for Imlie - and have the audience see it or have him communicate clearly to Imlie his feelings...no more 'aap hamare dil me jagah bane hai' stuff.

The depth of his feelings when she went to PG, his restlessness - I want Malini to see all that and see what is missing in their clinical relationship - with all the formal 'aap' this 'aap' that talk.

😃We discussed this all over the thread actually. Until the makers decide to up the bar for Malini’s behavior, we will always have an Imlie and Aditya lacking in certain aspects, especially when related to her. I do not think we will see an Aditya taking a harsher stand against Malini for a while. The Aditya that went to the Chaturvedis was unaware of the non-existent professor in Malini’s life and about the fact that Aditya is in love with Imlie.

I think they spared us all by not making Aditya talk more. Whatever he spoke was underwhelming but considering Malini anyway does not get anything he says, it was fine. I would rather have Aditya do more to get Imlie back which I sadly think will not transpire. As far as Malini realizing how clinical their relationship was - that is not going to happen either. She can only understand what “she” is not getting. She cannot comprehend what she lacks because of which she is losing.

Coming to episode finally adi told didi truth but somewhere I did not like didi stand and overall her cheap allegation on adilie ...she was just ranting non stop jaise khud ne toh perfection mein top ki position li hai ...🤢

Secondly here imlie totally standing up for her self which was indeed needed from her side from the time she got married to aditya ..but she just over looked all and adjusted to the given circumstances so that her amma won't get hurt ..but today she stood and chod diya adini ko ...😆now tommorrow I want to see how he comes to know she left ...again without telling him..and hope didi ka dukh thoda kaam dikhaye😆ab get well soon hogaya ,sympathy hogayi ab bas aur nahi jhelna ...😆

Finally adi clarification and the stand that imlie is not at fault was good but guess thoda dhulai he should have given moonji for degrading imlie without knowing truth anyways ..going forward ab chances honge I guess when he will do that 👍🏼

So let see how he gets welcomed by sk .just waiting for when and where all this will crop up

@bold: My guess still is that he will see the watch and realize that Imlie has left😆.....ya kuch toh gadbad wala feel aayega isko woh watch dekh ke ki why would she return something that she herself wanted to always keep when he gave it to her....and then he will again be upset that she never tells him anything, that he has no jagah in her life etc. etc.😆

Will he pause even for a second to remember his vow to never go after her?😆....ofcourse not😆

That is the curiosity factor for me.. the way he looked in hurry in the BTS wih helmet I guess ya toh isne bahar porch main hi bol dia hoga ke ab jaa raha hai imlie ko lene ya didi bolegi ke le ke aao . NaHIii bhagwan nahi.. khud hi andar aake watch dekh ke tilmilaye and bhage to check upon imlie caz then it makes sense how he was like get Over with bakwaas I need to rush

I’m not sure if Didi will tell him to bring Imlie back to T house yet. That bit outside the car in the SBS segment looked more like AM were still arguing about something. Why would Adi argue if Malini asked him to bring Imlie back to the house 😆. Based on his last thoughts in the car yesterday, it makes more sense ki Imlie ko ghar laane ka thought should come to Adi first. But dekhte hain 😆

As for Imlie accepting that adhikar ke bina rishta nahin hota.....lol I wish that had actually gotten better build up than disillusionment coming from hearing HM planning and physical abuse from AC.....the intent may be one thing but the impact is quite pheeka right now vis a vis Imlie's thought process.

I get that their INTENT must have been to make Imlie realize her idealistic views of being content with her one-side nibhaaoing of her rishta are not tenable.....so she is shown to realize that there is no point hanging around in a place where the rishta itself has no meaning since it has no haq and she is only facing derision from all sides......she wonders who she is bearing it all for? lol so does that mean she was bearing it for Adi all this time otherwise? 😆....it does feel very contradictory to show her giving up her haq on her own all this while and now lamenting ki haq kyun nahin hai rishte pe😆.....again, that part didn't come across very clearly in the jumbled way they set it up......remains to be seen if the dramatic high point of the pitaayi and reunion ties it all together.

Frankly, I did not get Imlie part at all. I thought it was because I skipped some episodes so if you are saying the same thing then there is a miss somewhere. I also did not get why suddenly she was feeling so dejected suddenly where she has always been strong in her stand so it actually very confusing. hence just my one line on that part. I did see the Adilie scene but I wished there was somewhere where we actually saw imlie missing Aditya because all I saw was her avoiding him.

Re Adi-Malini: I think till date has not seen the real Malini. The only time we saw it was during “ dum ghutha hain” phase. So for him he is the guilty party and she is the wrong. Even yesterday he was wrong. Till now the excuse was she does not know the truth but now if she does not do what Imlie did back then that is give up, then may be the pieces might start falling in place for him. No guarantee because in the end the writers might also stay true to their self and make her Mahaan

I do think that the makers need to decide I.e. either show her true self that we see to someone on the show or change her character so that we start seeing her as Mahaan 😆not the pendulum that they keep showing to us.
