I felt that the truth revelation scene was not as impactful as it should have been, given it is a.major high point in the story. Adi was so busy trying to soften the blow for didi that he did not stand up for imlie at all, highlighting all the sacrifices she made for didi, while undergoing untold suffering and humiliation from him, vile insults and physical abuse by sure sure auntie, and now by her didi herself. I expected him to make her repent for her behavior and also get really mad at her for spewing such crap about imlie. Atleast sach bol diya usne aur hume hopefully aage didi ki mahaanta ko phir be jhelna padega, but atleast adilie will be one from now on.

Dil ko tandak mila didi ka monologue sunke ki wo hi adi aur imlie ke beech aa gayi and that no one was to blame. It was not impactful again in the sense that it felt insincere. The remorse was not coming through as it should.

I am happy because story inched forward again. Looking forward ki bs ki dhulaayi and also praying that they are able to shoot through the lockdown.

@bold: LOL but that's how it's always going to feel from her na? She's said SO many vile things about Imlie and never shown ANY regret for using cheap language for Imlie even if she does these token "introspections" later about Imlie ko sab mil gaya, no one is to blame blah blah.....this is why it will always feel insincere coming from Malini cuz we can see she has no real remorse for anything, doesn't give a damn about anyone....it's all only about her own self-pity zone always....and we all know she will very quickly switch to blaming others for her problems again soon enough😆

Adi did stand up for Imlie when Malini was talking nasty crap about her but yes, overall his focus remained on softening the blow for Malini even if she was barely letting him get a word out in the face of her ghatiya ranting.

Anyways I guess there wasn't much one could do about that since this reveal was all focused on how it was going to be a big shock to Malini so I guess this is how it was always going to go. The problem will remain though that all her reactions look so insincere and put on that it keeps diluting the impact of how this is supposedly a big shock for her🤔😆

Glad I was not the only one who found the entire thing not completely right. Quite a few loopholes and the most glaring one was of course the professor. Aditya remembered him in the car but not while she was going on about two paise ki cheap affair 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think they intentionally kept the professor out of it and I preferred it that way (even tho it seemed like memory loss and was really odd) since it is in the end untrue - all the conversation will hold when Malini spills the truth later - she won't get leverage off it in any way. What I was hoping for and Adi failed to deliver is - that his draw towards Imlie was compelling and he could not help himself. This is implied in the fact that he wants to go back to their relationship and nibhaofy it - but it would have been good if he had said it.

BBSB was a bit off today with his emoting today - I think or maybe dialogues were not as good. The way they abruptly end each scene also factors into the feeling of everything being a bit disjointed.

In addiiton to all the already open issues - they made Imlie also ask about Dev :(.

Let's hope tomorrow picks up better.

I hated the hum badal gaye.. what nonsense aditya you never badlooed you just realized and got to know the real you that is not called badalna Hate it.. but then I guess it works in the context ke he decided to give maan to that relationship and changed his decision but then again what is funny and what I appreciated is him not giving the detail to malini of kab kaise caz that ghatiya woman would only use this as ammunition for any point later so I absolutly loved adi ka generic haadse hote gaye and shaadi ho gayi and he has began to respect it.

The other thing worth noting is him mentioning no feelings of love attachment or anything he said a generic u saal ki dosti ke lihaaz main shaadi ki to keep the word and he realizes it was wrong and wishes it never have involved her bas itna hi rofl at didi ka intehayi bad acting throughout which was only making me cringe and making adi look weird too.. I liked that he said bas dosti hi thi and shaadi kar li it aligns with all the discussions we have had previously that he never Invested in any relationships emotionally that it was all mechanical routine and checking thr boxes too ke Umar ho gayi toh shaadi kar lo duniya ki yehi reet hai and who else then the dost jo 7 saal se chipki padi hai.. it checked all boxes on surface but i would have liked more emphasis on that very part but still chalo not a hai theek hai

That lame poem everyone is giddy over is just so blahhhh and sounded rotten and too pretentious

Some other good bits was I liked adi ka complete shit off his body language totally closed down.. him wanting to give imlie the respect but I would have wanted slightly more conviction and more firmness in telling didi her aukaat..

To be honest...It was impossible to describe this journey in a period of 10 minutes. Adi babu although is a man of words in print, in oratory skills, he does lack communication. Not used to describing his feelings, it would have taken so many episodes when he "CHANGED".

And I would give credit to him, how he doesnot say he never loved her...he says there was no other woman in my life other than you, and you were my best friend and I fulfilled that commitment towards you.

And at the cost of giving a very unpopular opinion, I did love how he didnot bring the elusive love of Didi's life. it was HIS truth that he wanted to say, and he did say it without "whataboutery" on HER love life. He didnot care whether she had committed adultery, or EMA or anything else... He didnot blame her...nor uttered a word on her...It shows how little did it matter to him.

and for me that not only showed the class and difference of Sanskars that we have been talking since forever, it showed how little did Didi's harketein affected him. The man who was downright rude and insulting because Imlie was friendly with Pari, didnot felt an iota of feeling, not even a need ot bring that man into conversation when he was being blamed left, right and center.

The only thing that actually managed to make him come out of his stoic chivalry was when Imlie was being attacked ....and he did warn Didi...in a tone which did convey that if she didnot stop, she might be ending up all mudcoated by her own mudslingings. and it did happen!! and if that would not convince Malini of the "Sacchai" that she had so "admired" in the past..nothing else would...

Waise since you liked yesterday's Gazal I will quote the first stanza which so rightly fits the our two cuties!

LOL yes, they are continuing to emphasize on the dost se shaadi kar li angle a lot off late so that they can sidestep the question of Adi never having been in love with her it seems😆.....cuz that would require introspection about 7 saal kaise kaat liye is haze mein and maybe that would be too much nuance for the writers to tackle😆.

Bas one off scenes yahaan wahaan dikhaa dete hain like Aparna remembering Adi telling her ki woh Malini se ghanto tak baatein kar sakta tha.....lol but they will never address when that changed, how it changed.....or if it was a mirage all along? lol Adi is saying, "hum badal gaye" as if Imlie ke aate hi suddenly he forgot how to talk to Malini? 😆.....as if sirf Imlie ke aane pe Malini ne ispe har baat pe shak karna shuru kiya?😆.....all these hairy questions they want to sidestep for now and just keep it to generic, "best friend se shaadi karke life guzaarne ka socha" angle😆.....yeh nahin address karna chahte ki so called best friend ke saath fundamental incompatibility thi that didn't start simply cuz he married Imlie😆.

Anyways chalo theek hai jitna bhi kiya....let's see if they ever address Adi's history of emotional detachment kabhi aage😆
