Did you guys heard about shivaji raja and sai bhai lovestory..... This is my favorite lovestory from history...

It is a love story of a worrier who fight every enemy and goes back home to his love where he can be actually and orginal shiva leaving anger, stress and everything aside.... I heard saibhai died 20 years earlier than shivaji raja, yet he took her name on the death bed... according to its eternal lovestory than lila majunu, heer ranja and all...

today, sairat scene when sai screamed virat sir and virat taking sai's name, i got reminded of shivaji raja and sai bai... i know we can't compare reel couple with real but this specific scene is so beautifully shot. Their logging , craving for eachother..... virat is holding himself at the edge only for sai... omg i can't get over it...

one more small thing, taking this post as opportunity, I really want to salute police officers like kamal joshi who inspires people, wow he literally shaped sai and virat .... i don't think professionally virat is not inspired from ninad as much as from kamal Jhoshi.... both sairat relived the same pain of loosing KJ for a moment and went throught 100 times more pain in thought of loosing eachother.

Wow, really.

How come my history books had only indian independence movements and dynasties of south and delhi sultanate. And the Mughul one.

Actually, history has many pure references like this as well.

Love is what pulls you through death, but also allows you peaceful death sometimes. All have their own significance, but love always remains pure, whether it ends with a smile, tears or blood,it never gets stained. It stands alone, but stands strong, and thus is still worshipped.

And it's reference with Sairat is amazing, someone was saying Sairat also have similarity with Bajirao Mastani. Proud to be a Sairat lover

Thankyou for this❤

P.S.: Is their any book regarding this.🤗

you know I did some research on this when I first found out Sai and Virat (also called shiva) names are similar to Chhatrapati Shivaji and his most loved and favorite wife sai bai

I saw the similarities and i am sure the makers intended it to be that way!!

You know the love stories that are fulfilled are so beautiful... they shared a life together and then when she left him for 20 years, he never forgot her and no one could take the place of Sai bai in his heart, she was his one true love... and then, of course, uttering her name 20 years later on his death bed proved that love does not need you to be physically present but even your essence being with your love is everything to them!

such is a great love story!

another interesting fact is that Chattrapatti Shivaji's second wife Soyarbai's surname before marriage was mohite (and humari ved vahini ka bhi surname mohite patil hai)

she was ambitious who historians blame for shivaji's death as she wanted her son rajaram to take over the throne.... ultimately she was overthrown by shivaji and sai bai's son sambhaji who got her and her entire family imprisoned for conspiracy!

we don't have separate book for their lovestory, what ever i read is from shivaji raja biography and articles.

Same, history is always very close to my heart. And I immediately went into research mode and came across this. Cliche.

I love wikipedia sometimes, it said Saibai was responsible for the homegenous atmosphere in his personal life and household activities, and after Saibai, it was a disaster.

This applies to Viru, we see Viru different with Sai,or else CN is venom without pain.
