The first 50-60 pages were very slow but it picks up very fast. Don't worry.

No No spoiler... He is like that from the beginning of the book.
You will like it, once you finish it. I promise đ
I understand. The same thing happened to me. It took some months to finish it. I read many books in between and read whenever I felt like it. Last half of the book was a breeze though.
@italics: I knowđ I was kidding. Even this few pages in (around 44), I can already tell that.
@bold: This is comforting and not comforting at the same timeđ

Why haven't you continued with Harry Potter? Lost interest? The 6th book is my favourite.
I guess I lost interest. I enjoyed the books whilst I read them but I was never obsessed with them. The long wait between the books also made me lose interest. Itâs the same for me even now, only now itâs tv shows. Iâll binge watch a show and enjoy it completely while I am watching it but will also lose interest if I have to wait for the next season.

Yes! I love DevAkshi so much. đ„° Have you watched the show?
Just the first 100 episodes or so. Shaheer & Erica had great chemistry till the show didnât go down the route of being a regular tv soap.
A question for all of you: â
Victor and Eli were both shown as having a darker side. And while I know Victor was supposed to be the villain here (I still loved him), would you say Eli's standpoint aboit EOs was correct?
Also, which one of them did you end up rooting for in the end?
I preferred Victor as a character over Eli. I felt that to a large extent what he did was justified as compared to Eli whose holier than thou attitude got to me. Thinking that was everyoneâs saviour and trying to justify his killings was him trying to believe that he was everyoneâs hero.

@Diya: 3rd used to be my favourite for a long time but it's my comfort book now. PoA is filled with hope and love with the right amount of mystery.
6th is just perfect in all aspects.
I agree. The point regarding the growth in both character must be added.
There indeed is a discussion about what exactly is right and wrong or does every human action fall in the middle. At the end, we choose our own hero.
It's also the only book that doesn't have Voldemort as its main antagonist, which gives a break from that common theme. And of course, there's the fact that I just love Sirius
6th is one of the best mystery books I've ever read. And it has so much drama and angst and everything, it just made it so much better.
My fav HP movie is the 6th one.
