You have a point. It can go both ways and still be impactful.

Loving her in spite of the fact that she's a widow, or loving her in terms of her identity as a woman and not her status so that when he founds about it, it changes nothing in him.

If I know Raghav, it won't matter. Remember, he has seen his mother and the impact widowhood had on her, or what she faced. So yes, he knows exactly, what he is getting into, whenever he gets to know.
