They show you went through what you did and survived. They define you and make you a better human. They might break you for a while but then you remember you dusted whatever it was off and stood back up 🖤

This reminds of that Japanese art..whose name i forgot where the cracks in bowls and cutlery and vases are not filled with the same material, rather highlighted by filling the cracks with gold or silver.

To show that things with scars are beautiful. Scars and cracks and fissures show your struggle in life. They're pretty and need to be valued!!!

Huma just wanted to 💯 this. That quote has given me hope plenty times ....and this is one more instance.

When things falls apart, even in life, at that moment it hurts and everything looks despairing. How bitter and heartbroken were we back then. But then life brings you to a better stage and you just look back see the bigger picture. Then you realize of the strength you possess and the importance of holding on and keeping hope.
