I’m stressing on “He will continue to love her in his heart” and NOT have an affair

BUT

whether he has an affair or not with Pakhi or anyone else that’s upto him,

Sai didn’t know it was his sister in law so...

No Sai doesn’t need to annul the marriage, Virat can love someone else while being married to Sai so she can do the same, as per the contract, he said he cannot be her husband and she said she cannot he his wife and during the Amey incident she emphasised on, “it doesn’t matter who I flirt with, what is it to you?”

And before that during Pakhi leaving house incident or Pakhi Virat talking incident Virat reminded, “Why are you acting like a jealous wife? This is just a deal. Even if I talk to pakhi what is it to you?”

I just wanted to clarify my understanding.

Then can you also tell me what it is an open marriage?

Where a person can love by having them only in their heart?

Or can a person love someone else and also have relationship with them?

This gives Sai leeway to find the “husband’s love” from anyone else since Virat will not be able to give it to her. I’m not talking about the current equation and Virat’s feelings etc because the deal is still intact and neither has breached the contract.

Marriage deal or not, anyone can leave the other one to find love somewhere else if the person is not getting love from the partner. They didn't think about looking elsewhere when they got marrried. They were in a marriage without any expectation. If they want to prioritize love over farz and career, then they will leave each other. But I am sure before looking somewhere else for love, they will try to find into each other first.

Because it’s his sister in law, he can’t pursue her but if it wasn’t his SIL as per the deal was he not permitted to have an affair and Sai not allowed to interfere in between?

As I said above ^ Virat has said to her before, “Why are you acting like a jealous wife? Even if I talk to Pakhi what is it to you?”

I would still consider a marriage with someone else in your heart an open marriage because I don’t view the heart and physique to be separate, if your heart is somewhere else so is your body, you might not be having an affair but given chance and right circumstances you would, because there’s no commitment towards your wife and she’s not holding you back.

Very open. To misinterpretation that is.

Virat is super jealous of Aniket's singing/height. Sai didn't want Pakhi to pack Virat's clothes. Idk which angle it is open. It is totally closed. Except the door to their room. That is always open and is the saare fasaad ki jadh. Close that door and everything else will close too. 😍

Edited-IMO, I don't think Virat has/ever had any tolerance for another man in Sai's life. She says she is ok with him doing whatever he wants but she isn't actually ok with that. Not do I think it was every intended to be open. It was intended to be a loveless marriage..that's it. It's not panning out for them that way.

Surely Sai can have love and career side by side? The deal still remains that Virat will not love anyone else apart from Pakhi and since he can’t be a husband to her she is allowed to find love elsewhere.

I genuinely wanted to understand what you meant and mean by all this.

I am not saying having someone else in your heart is right.

If she wasn't his sil, why will wouldn't he have married Pakhi? Or

Are you telling me he would have had a chance to have or would have planned to have an affair with Pakhi if she was married to someone else other than his brother?

Sai didn’t know about this whole Pakhi — Samrat — his brother — saga, what she knew was that he was in love with someone else and the villagers forced Sai and Virat into this marriage and neither did Virat tell her that his “love” was actually his sister in law, or a “married woman” so as per the deal, from Sai’s end, she gave him the permission to love anyone, flirt with anyone (Amey incident) or have an affair with anyone (Virat emphasising on “why are you acting like a jealous wife it doesn’t matter who I talk...” and Sai telling him he can flirt with anyone, she doesn’t care), so isn’t that the clause of an open relationship?

Before marriage it was maybe one but as soon as they got married we clearly saw the change. Both are possessive about each other and they don't want a third wheel. So no matter how many times they say "mujhe koi farak nahin padta" or "I can flirt with anyone why should it bother you", they don't want anyone else between them till the deal is on.
