Ofcourse is he isn't obliged to do that. Its a request from his sincere fans and not a very difficult request. All fans are not bad out of 100 you will get atleast 5-6 fans maybe more who are absolutely pathetic but you can't do anything about it. I absolutely condone those fans and their posts but to be honest this is not half as bad as what othere stars, much much younger, who has to go through internet trolls and bullies. I think Neil is smart enough to ignore these trolls.

Their work is to act and entertain onscreen not offscreen, they can do anything with their personal life. Neil is doing way good job as virat, virat's character is written very weakly if not Neil people would see virat more horribly. Replace Neil why? What did that guy, I remember he gave interview with Aishwarya instead of ayesha but the media wanted to interview neilaish and cash on the offscreen equation wait the same happened with divek, wait he posts pictures with his fiance where nowdays he don't use the show's hastag , why should he not post with girl he loves. Neil does promote sairat and gives fans off screen content. People on Insta are wishing Aishwarya should not recover what about that. Let me not forget here was whole Insta page which almost compared Neil and ayesha to radha krishn and said even though Neil has officially announced his engagement with Aishwarya they will still ship him with ayesha.

i actually don't see any issue with this. Fans still ship Kajol and Sharukh, that doesn't mean that they have to be together. Barun and Sanaya is one of the most iconic couple in TV industry. There are so many fanpages of them. Shipping someone is not wrong.

Why is Neil obliged to give off screen content go show the same thing to ayesha. Don't drag down an actor who has worked in the industry for ten years on his professional ethics. Neil has given two hit shows starting of his career if social media was a thing that time, Neil could have been way more popular. Sure ghum has given Neil more popularity but Neil has aced virat role with a very less screenspace to get this. I really appreciate ayesha but no one can take away the fact Neil is the best actor of the show even though he has worst character of virat chauvan.

I don't think anyone will disagree on the fact that Neil is a better actor than Ayesha ans Aishwarya.

There are very few actors who can still make us feel for a bad written character. Replace him if you want, I don't care I will simply stop watching the show. I watch this show for Neil if he is not here I would have zero Care. Same applies to trp audience, they see unfamiliar face after sometime they will change to next channel, Star plus will prefer to shut down the show then the replacing drama because it has happened in iss pyar ko kya naam doon time.

😂 imagine this was a American show, I still remember how Ian (Damon) of vampire diaries literally hated delena after a point of time when people started spreading hate on his wife because of delena, still today he openly says that he stopped shipping delena because of fans because it was not worth it, people who can't respect his choices can't be his fans. Hope Neil pulls something like that but itv audience will not take that kindly.

I think the situation was quite different for Delena fans. More than Delena they were Nina and Ian fans and upset about their break up.

I love Neil and I don't think anyone can be a better Virat than him. There always be some fans who will not be happy with the track or the actors. You can't do anything about it. Everyone has a different opinion.

I still think the whole Neilsha engagement could have been handled in a much better way. I was a bit taken aback when I heard about the engagement. I thought it will affect Sairat for me but after 2-3 days it didn't. But you see Sairat are fictional characters we fans make a different bubble world of Sairat where they love each other and then suddenly you see a picture of Neil and Aishwarya in Virat and Pakhi characters being in love, that also every other day. That breaks the bubble and our connect. We are also giving a lot of our time to watch and discuss about this show. In a way we are promoting it. We love Sairat so we do love the character playing Sairat that is Neil amd Ayesha.

Thats the issue its not an American show ; its an Indian show.I don't think people actually have problem with Neil; it is with someone who is eith him and that person goes to gaslight the fans on purpose for what reason I cannot figure it out.

Other thing, do you think if Neil pulls stunt like this it would affect anyone but him and his better half; because let's face the music this is ITV audience ; they don't forget if this show gets closed everybody will find new work but what about Neil his 10 years of work will go down drain and Trp audience does not care about it.

RK of Kahin na kahin toh hoga is the best example of it..he left the show when his fans begged not to..his role wss replaced and show went to garner more publicity and went for 2 years.

If this thing gets ruined it will harm Neil only the most..you and many of us might stop watching after Neil leaves the show but trp aunties wont.

Also consider his age he is 33 other shows that are in trp race the couples there are in early 20's be it Kaira, Sanan,Imitiya and the list goes on..

There are many young and talented actors in the industry nowadays..because we are online audience our opinion does not mstter that much

Now coming to the age , Rohit Roy , Ram Kapoor earned their fame in their late 30s . They are considered as super stars of ITV so age is not a limitation for actors . Divyanka Tripathi got her fame in her early 30s . ITV works differently. There are many such examples where the young actors have disappeared after one show whereas middle age actors have turned into superstars . Neil can bounce back anytime if luck is on his side . He is anyway talented all he needs is a good opportunity.

PH don’t replace actors because of trolls .Karan Patel was responsible for shutting down a show because of his unprofessional behavior. He abused FL and was drunk on sets . He admitted in a interview yet he got a second chance , end of the day networking is important .

I totally love what you spoke about the bubble. I also mentioned the same on some post. It’s natural for us to feel that when we watch the show , the connect to their onscreen characters. We watch shows to get out of our reality and enjoy the show. So the initial disconnect for fans is normal but then again many of us move on from it and enjoy the onscreen couple as long as they are done justice on screen.

promotion is a part of the job. I don’t know why people think it’s WRONG of fans to expect some promotion from actors playing the role. All celebrities do it before their movie or a show to ensure audience connect. They do interviews before movies and spend money for PR so there must be a reason behind it.


Again a subsection of FD go way way overboard but ignoring them is the best

I like Neil and I started this show because of him but since he announced his engagement I feel he is hesitant to do things on screen. It seems to be that him and his fiancé can’t differentiate between reel life and real life which is a big problem. If they act the way they do people certainly will protest because we are interested in his personal life and his fiancé and he shouldn’t let it affect his job, that’s all.

It not the fault of the poor girl . Lot of people are responsible for writing that and it was not mean to harass any actor . It was just a message. If Neil sees the message I am pretty sure he will laugh it off and let it go as these fans are very very young .

Her insta got cancelled and all her work got deleted . She was reported for something she was not solely responsible for .

This is really sad. I will blame neil, aiswarya, production house and fans equally for this mess. No matter how much we try to justify neil and aiswarya saying that its is their personal life noone can deny the fact that they used serial to promote their personal life and choice. And they behaved as if they never want sairat and neilsha a craze.. instead want people to love virat pakhi. The PH never controlled tgem even after getting feedback. Pathetic. And some fans indeed crossed limits especially wishing bad for aiswarya. That's horrible.

From the perspective of someone who really isn't into shipping couples but has loved the dynamic that Neil and Ayesha portray on screen as Virat and Sai - I feel a lot that has transpired has been mostly due to bad timing and poor management.

Bad timing in the sense that Neil and Aishwarya's engagement announcement (and I am happy for them) came at a time when Sairat were gaining in popularity and the show was hitting 100 episodes, it took away from the show and the success that it was getting.

Poor management in terms of promotion of Sai and Virat as the shows lead and yes, Aishwarya as Pakhi seemed to be getting more behind the scenes footage in terms of media interviews etc. While I have nothing against Neil and Aishwarya giving interviews as a couple, I think it falls on the PH and the management team to make sure that when it comes to the show - Sai and Virat were the ones primarily doing the promoting and being promoted.

even now I hardly see any promotions for ghkkpm in the PHs insta handle and Twitter. Everything is related to their other ventures Choti sardhani.

I mean shouldn’t they be actively promoting both the shows.
