Neil has given two hit shows starting of his career if social media was a thing that time, Neil could have been way more popular. Sure ghum has given Neil more popularity but Neil has aced virat role with a very less screenspace to get this. I really appreciate ayesha but no one can take away the fact Neil is the best actor of the show even though he has worst character of virat chauvan. There are very few actors who can still make us feel for a bad written character. Replace him if you want, I don't care I will simply stop watching the show. I watch this show for Neil if he is not here I would have zero Care. Same applies to trp audience, they see unfamiliar face after sometime they will change to next channel, Star plus will prefer to shut down the show then the replacing drama because it has happened in iss pyar ko kya naam doon time.

😂 imagine this was a American show, I still remember how Ian (Damon) of vampire diaries literally hated delena after a point of time when people started spreading hate on his wife because of delena, still today he openly says that he stopped shipping delena because of fans because it was not worth it, people who can't respect his choices can't be his fans. Hope Neil pulls something like that but itv audience will not take that kindly.

Very very true. He doesn't have dialogues too in many scenes and it is only because it is Neil, people are atleast able to see what his reaction is, whether he is sad, angry, disgusted, disappointed, disapproving, disbelieving. His action speaks. His character is not written well and audience who have complaints that Virat isn't speaking for Sai, not opening his mouth, they wouldn't have even known what the guy was actually thinking if it was not for Neil's acting.

I have always thought that he probably might do it. I think the problem here is people are crazy about Sairat and many fans are not able to accept that he is engaged. He is not just engaged but is engaged to the protagonist of the show which is making things even worse.

But that doesn't mean they cross their limits.

I would say even if one is disappointed with the actor for a few things, it is just not right to expect him to be replaced or trouble him at times like this. He is a covid patient and needs everyone's prayers and support, not hatred. Not just Neil, even Aishwarya needs it.

Thats the issue its not an American show ; its an Indian show.I don't think people actually have problem with Neil; it is with someone who is eith him and that person goes to gaslight the fans on purpose for what reason I cannot figure it out.

Other thing, do you think if Neil pulls stunt like this it would affect anyone but him and his better half; because let's face the music this is ITV audience ; they don't forget if this show gets closed everybody will find new work but what about Neil his 10 years of work will go down drain and Trp audience does not care about it.

RK of Kahin na kahin toh hoga is the best example of it..he left the show when his fans begged not to..his role wss replaced and show went to garner more publicity and went for 2 years.

If this thing gets ruined it will harm Neil only the most..you and many of us might stop watching after Neil leaves the show but trp aunties wont.

Also consider his age he is 33 other shows that are in trp race the couples there are in early 20's be it Kaira, Sanan,Imitiya and the list goes on..

There are many young and talented actors in the industry nowadays..because we are online audience our opinion does not mstter that much

Bold : r u talking about d sujal's character ( my childhood crush infact my other frnd crush 2), trp dropped when RK left , other actor can never gain d popularity of Sujal like RK got . Aaj bhi Sujal ka naam RK ke saath liya jaata hain. Sujal kashish jodi was never a hit after RK left.

Ronit Roy was not easily accepted as mihir Virani after amar Upadhyay left , it took good time to Ronit to get accepted as mihir thou Ronit Roy is a terrific actor.

The sad thing is because of a few toxic people in the fandom ( be it their age or immaturity ) . The feedback and valid suggestions of genuine fans will get ignored. Again giving power to the fact that audience expectations is always wrong. And actors like Aishwarya can get away with calling audiences delusional. I hope things get controlled at both ends.

It’s very hard to control trolls on SM. By giving them focus we are feeding their need for attention. And Neil being a professional and a veteran in this industry knows how to handle the negative aspects of this industry. And no one is going to get replaced. For me Neil is Virat and I don’t think PH will take all this seriously.

When I come across such trolls on Instagram who attack actors personally and are toxic . I report them. That’s so much I can do. And I think PH can do only so much.

Unfortunately with fame comes all this unnecessary attention. If you want to have peaceful career in this industry need to grow a thicker skin and ignore these people.

I wish for speedy recovery for both of them ✌️

I hope they receive more love from fans than hate: to compensate for all the unwanted comments they have to go through.

There are evidently two camps: Virat and Sai . That’s fine you can support which ever character you like etc. Discuss pros and cons. That is why all of us are in the forum:

But what one cannot deny is the hardwork put down by the actors playing the roles. Just because we support one camp over others doesn’t mean we get to discount the efforts of the actors playing the character we are not fond of.

This is a general blanket statement. I am personally in camp sairat. I comment on posts dissing Virat in support of him and vice versa. This show has made me a pendulum.
