So guys , I know Anokhi is a flawed character and can make decisions which are not good for her in the long run. But there's one thing about her that has been consistent - her determination.

I wasn't surprised that Ankohi wanted to leave the college after getting insulted so much. But as I thought about it, I understood that she's making a mistake. She will loose this semester as the semester is ending and she will not get admission in between of a semester. She will lose a year mostly. And if u think of it with a calm mind, you see that Anokhi might not be in mindspace to see Shaurya again, which is why she wants to leave. But, Isn,t he leaving too? He's resigning and relocating to Patiala, as of now. He's just here for a few days, he mentioned that today too.

Then bear him for a few days and he will be ideally gone right? Now, I might sound really irrational. But comeon, you meet these kind of people everywhere. Why spoil your year for that? They don't deserve it. This girl ran form her marriage and literally went through so many hardships to get in. So why let one person who is anyway leaving take away your time?

What are your thoughts guys?šŸ˜†

PS : Please have a healthy discussion.

Yeah I feel you! But two things come to mind if i look at it from Anokhi’s perspective

1. She probably doesn’t want to be associated with SIAC in general because Shaurya is associated with it

2. She is thinking about it with a hurt and illogical head. All she cares about is getting away from Shaurya and the city thats been nothing but issues for her since day one.

I agree she’s making a mistake

You shouldn't be caring about others opinion if you know that you're right or your stance is crystal clear šŸ‘ˆšŸ» this would be my advice to Anokhi

She's emotionally depressed/tired. That's why her decision is irrational. The moment spoilers came out about her leaving I was like 'but why girl?'. Shaurya leaving for Patiala or not, Anokhi has no fault there neither in making him think so cheap about her but Anokhi here is making a mistake, first she had left behind everything that belonged to her to get better education & now she's kicking every opportunity she rightfully deserves? I do agree she’s making a mistake and she needs to calm down and think. That’s right Shaurya is leaving but those few days (2-3 days maybe) are also intoxicating for her.

Sharing a personal experience from my college days where I tolerated my female professor insulting me from day 1 in front of everyone (no one was there in the library when Shaurya said those words to Anokhi) and I never spoke against it initially but deep down I was very hurt and wanted to run away. I lost my confidence and will to study. I hated everyone because of that one professor. I somehow made through a semester but her insults never stopped even though I proved her wrong and topped my semester but she didn’t know how to stop and I finally had to drop out of college owing to serious mental health issues. The problem with me was the teacher was a director too and she wasn’t anytime leaving but here, Shaurya is leaving but you never know he may come back and someone else is sent to Patiala in place of him or maybe even the mention of his name would run chills down Anokhi’s spine and she would have all the feelings rushing back to her. Henceforth, I feel this to be a reason she has taken such a decision. Sometimes, the words are too painful that you only wish to kill the person and be at peace and somehow, even if Shaurya never returns (woh jayega hi nahi toh aayega kahan because ITV🤣), whenever Anokhi would be associated with SIAC, she would not remember anything but Shaurya and his words. Even the mention of his name in those 3 more semesters that she has in SIAC would be very painful for her. The place would only make her think about those words because no matter how strong you are, you just can’t hear things about you.

Thats how I’m perceiving her decision because I wasted pretty good time in the same situation but then it took a toll on me.. Also, this is my POV of Anokhi’s decision. I welcome any criticism against it😊

Also if logically looked at, Anokhi is a very headstrong girl and I agree she needs to get a control over her emotions because here, Shaurya does somewhere realise he has done a mistake and he’s openly challenged her to prove him wrong so better than running away, she stays back and prove him wrong and does everything that makes the college also agree that she isn’t someone who’s any less and she’s way better and has even more potential than anyone else..

I was discussing this on the other post... See, people want to study in a good place where environment is less toxic.

Given the low mentality of people, especially professors there, it's difficult to learn from terrible person whom you do not respect🤢... She could keep feeling that Shaurya would keep eyeing for any conversation she has with a male classmate or person within campus calling her opportunist...

Hence, I do feel that she should leave.. And mostly it's individual's choice...

I think Anokhi as a person has reached her tensile point, this latest insult from Shaurya is like the last straw. I mean ever since she set foot in Chandigarh it has been one brick bat after the other, she would have of course known that it wouldn't be a bed of roses but may be she didn't think that the hostility would be to this extent.

Second I think along with the insult she is not able to come to terms with the fact that a professor could talk to her like this! I mean Aastha ma'am has already set some serious standards in this regard but obviously she was not expecting anything of that sort from Shaurya however after the ragging episode she must have at least realised that he treats his students fairly.

Yes the lines blurred between the two of them but she always acknowledged him as her professor. Which is why yesterday she expressed her disgust by saying 'I don't want to study in a college where people like you teach' and today she emphasised on how she "Respected" him despite all their difference because she thought he was fair.

And most importantly I think she no longer feels safe (emotionally and dare I say physically) , Shaurya might have resigned as a professor but he is still the director so there would be contact and there is no guarantee that this would never happen again. Yes she has the grit to take on anything and fight for insaaf but isn't her ultimate goal to study and make something out of herself and that's precisely the one she hasn't been able to focus ever since she came to Chandigarh, she was shocked hearing that they were going to have their prelims and this is the girl that topped her college back in Kapurthala.

So she has decided to restrategise for her goals I guess šŸ˜†

By showing the finger to Shaurya and college with her golden " aap rakho apna gandhe soch sur gandhe vichar apne paas and chalao apna college" 🤣 This was pure gold and Shaurya looked taken aback to hear it!

Something on similar lines ...some student felt that a certain youngish prof is marking me well ( forgetting that I come from a business background and I have been working in the business since I am 14 to the current 22 in my postgrad ) since my answers were supported with facts and real life examples spread a rumour that we are having a affair. Coming from a very traditional fam which I had to fight for to do my post grad it was so tough a d humiliating.

Plus some students started bullying me ..I am lucky that I was living with my older bro on the weekends and part time in hostel . My bro told me never to give up due to other people and I don't owe an explanation to anyone incl him. He said he has my back no matter what and over the years be has proven it many times

He also told me women sometimes have to work double hard due to prejudice.

At work place so many times I have had issues since I had men who were older to me in the team I was leading and they did not want to report to a women.

My field of equity and derivatives modelling and research is very much male dominated .

But there have been supportive men too

It's so good to read the real life examples and relate to them. At the same time it's really sad that these things don't stop and they take a toll on a person's well being .

I guess anokhi had the same questions in mind. Her career is at stake . She shouldn't be leaving the college in the middle of the semester but shaurya really crossed his line with her n I understand her emotional state..probably she is thinking of taking admission in some other college ...siac is not the one and only place .. We know it's itv so neither will.anokhi leave nor shaurya shift to any other place.

I was thinking along the same lines.

But then i also thought Shaurya and Shaan were the ones who stood for her against Sabarwals who are always hounding after her. Mostly Shaurya. Even Shaurya betrayed her trust. She knows the Sabarwals hate her and life will become miserable for her in future after the only person who she trusted in broke her confidence and left her alone to face this. We know and i think Anokhi has a feeling the Sabarwals might not let her stay peacefully too. Could this be a reason?

As much as I understand Anokhi, she is impulsive. She doesn't think before talking. She thinks she is always right. Coming from Kapurthala where girl didn't get respect, she expected some respect in the big city of Chandigarh and the reputable college SIAC. However, on every step she had to prove herself. First the interview, then the chori ka ilzam, then ragging issue, reporters issue and now Shaurya's allegations. Shaurya has been related to all these problems in one way or the other. She respected him as her professor, but when he uttered those words, she couldn't help but thinking about her struggles in the back of her mind. The respect she searched in Chandigarh was something she never received. So when respect isn't there, why should she live here? I know that back home her father doesn't respect her mom or the girls. But she knows that other people do, the colleges do. So she would rather study in a small-town college with respect rather than a big college with no respect from one of the directors.
