You cannot post something directly from your phone gallery. The image has to be uploaded somewhere first. You can upload images to image hosting sites like Imgur, Postimg, etc.
For general pics and gifs, we usually just take images from google to avoid this uploading business 😆. For self creations, of course we have to upload them. Nearly all of us Graphicers have an account on one or the other site 😊.
You can use Postimg even without an account. Try it out if you want 😳.
