Let's recap till now it was always Shaurya who put up wall and misunderstood Anokhi. While she had put him on a pedestal after the ragging incident when she ran after him to thank him and him rebuking her that he doesn't need her thank you. Next he protected them both Babli and Anokhi from Vineet earning her respect and her even praising him that you may look tough from outside but are nice from inside. He was affected by her assessment of his character and again rebuked her that he doesn't need her praise. The first time Shaurya fell off from Anokhi's pedestal was when she saw him talking to his mother in a bad way the next time he threw that bouquet on her and again when he said I don't care if you die line. Last thing she remembers him leaving her in riots alone (delusional) but still....And now Shaurya is affected by her bad opinion of him. He wants her to hero worship him like she used. He didn't care or at least showed he cared for her good opinion of him and now he literally wants her to believe his goodness and trust him reflected by his pain, "Tumhe aisa lagta hai?". He wants to remember her previous assessment of him and try and understand him and his pain.

Also forgot to mention his want and need to get her constant validation by asking "Ab to manti ho na mein ek achha teacher hu?" Then after the bouquet incident going to her and explaining i didn't mean to throw you out of my class. He didn't like her to misunderstand his intentions. When during the riots Anokhi ask if she cares he didn't have to but explained it to her that if he didn't want to find her he wouldn't have come there and even he can't sleep due to guilt. He wants to convey that he is not a bad person but his circumstances have made him such when he just cut off her hair and realized she was upset he again explained that I have a certain way of working and if people don't like it its not my problem. He didn't need to justify but he is soft towards her treating her gently.

What will it take to reinstate that good opinion and hero worship she felt for him?

I am now able to understand Anokhi’s perspective in a clearer manner after reading this. I do agree her constant Astha Ma’am jaap is annoying but for once, I ignore that and look at the bigger picture which you’ve put through and I cannot disagree with a single word you’ve written.

It’s us humans who create opinions about others according to the first impression we have and those opinions change from time to time. Anokhi no doubt had the highest amount of respect for Shaurya, she still has but it’s his behaviour or words that have changed her opinions about him and hence, we see how she feels Shaurya’s ego is forcing him to still stay aloof his mother.

Anokhi is unable to see the good human that Shaurya is and how caring he is and how hurt he is because at the back of her mind, she has this thing that he hates his mother and he doesn’t give a damn about anyone.

A person’s behaviour towards others plays a vital role in the kind of opinions one would create of them. I think someone really needs to explain to Anokhi too about his behaviour and agony against Astha so that she knows it’s more of Astha’s and Shaan’s mistake more than Shaurya’s. This way she gets to understand his behaviour in a different horizon.
Both the sides need to put in efforts to clear up things and understand each other better and see each other from a different viewpoint than they currently have for one other. It’s not that Anokhi doesn’t trust Shaurya. She does and she knows he won’t hurt her or anyone intentionally for that matter but his past behaviour has been a reason good enough for her to have such an opinion. It’ll be more of a battle between the heart and the mind where she wants to believe in the right thing but her mind would not let her do that (that’s what I think😅)

I’m really wishing to see something great happening in order for them to get back to their normal selves and having positive opinions of each other than they have right now.

She did say one time that how can a person not respect their own mother!? She thought he was a good human being until he disrespected his mother. I think that changed her opinion about him.

And it might stay for a while

Since, the story is about Shaurya aur Anokhi, it may take a while for her to learn more abt him. Why would she want to though? So far we saw Anokhi being in Shaur's business...now it will be the other way around. He will always be in her business 😆

I think that's how it will pan out.

This is so beautifully written! I always love your takes because they shine a different light on the same scenes 😊 I also think that rather than jealousy, he is more hurt that the girl who at one point said that he was good at heart, no matter what he shows the world, is walking back on that statement. Now she seems to think that he can do no good, and that is really hurting him. Otherwise he was so pleased when he got the flower thinking finally she recognized him again, finally she is back to thanking him like she has in the past. He is sad that he lost that admiration because she was one of the few people who could see behind the mask.

Right now Anokhi isn't seeing the good things he does since her view of him is fully tainted by the way he treats Aastha. It's not like he has treated Anokhi poorly but she is hyperfocused on one part of his character at the expense of every other good thing that is coming before her. With her learning of his past, I think she will stop seeing things from such a biased perspective. It's possible that Devi/Alok will try and do something to get Anokhi kicked out of college and if Shaurya supports her, Anokhi can realize that whatever his equation may with with his mom, he has always supported her when she needed it.

Anokhi has always interfered with his life, but before she was trying to understand him. I like her forcing him to confront his feelings and showing him another aspect of his mom rather than the one he's been fed his whole life. In yesterday's episode, I very much enjoyed when she calmed his apprehensions, telling him that Aastha will like to know that he was searching for her. I think it's just when she gets frustrated and lashes out at him that he really closes off. She seems to want a quick-fix but unfortunately this is more of a long-haul type of thing 😆 After this initial distance, hopefully we get an Anokhi who, rather than using vinegar, uses honey to help Aastha/Shaurya mend their relationship.

I will slight disagree here.

You were absolutely right about Shaurya beong moved by Anokhi's analysis of his character. He was touched that she appreciated him.

But right now, he certainly DOES NOT want to be HERO WORSHIPPED. He wants to be real. He wants to be in his own skin.

He has always been good to people. Diplomatic.

But he showed his inner bitterness to her but she still saw right through him. That was his realization that she knows him more than he thinks she does. He felt liberated that he can express everything but she will see right through him.

When all these incidents happened, he saw her think otherwise about him. She was suddenly not liking him after she said that he was good at heart. He was desperate to fix things.

I am very sure I am not imagining this because KV is such an AMAZING ACTOR. His eye movements and expressions reveal more than his dialogues/monologues 👏 Thats why I saw his desperation to make things right at the party. He partially felt guilty but he knew she was going away from him.

His attempts to make conversation with her are proof enough. 👍🏼

Yes when we are younger and idealistic we expect too much from a person we respect and we place them on pedestal. As we grow older we realize no one is perfect and not everyone is ideal. A same person can have better shades According to his experience. How he treats you may be different than how he treats other people. He may have a reason for his behavior. You can't expect him to not make any mistake. You learn to accept a person with flaws when you get order once you realize how exhausting it is to be perfect and act goody too shoes all the same and you accept you are flawed too.

We sometimes have unrealistic expectations from the people we idealize or respect. As i grew older i realise no one is perfect and they shouldn't feel the pressure to be perfect not even our parents. Although we love them we know their flaw and accept them and live them. That's how family and relationships works.

Anokhi needs to realize a person has no standard response or behavior to deal with every situation. The same mature person can behave rude hurt or bitter who was acting rational and mature. The world is not black and white. It's gray. She needs to understand she can't idealize Astha too like she can't Shaurya. They are flawed humans and they can make mistakes too. You can love them too even if you don't agree with certain of their behavior traits. That will come with life experiences and maturity. People disappoint us. Can't expect them to behave like God.

no I agree. I didn't mean heroworship like literally but figuratively. Like she had placed him on a pedestal and get disappointed when he behaved like a human. Shaurya is mature and realize that she is young and idealistic and that's why he rushed to her to explain his actions and make her realize he is human too. But Anokhi is young blood. This is totally going off topic but say life you don't belive in Communism in your 20s you don't have a heart and in your 30s if you still believe in it you don't have brain. Kind of like that. We have higher expectations and low thresholds for mistakes in our youth. We become more compassionate for human flaws when we mature.

Not sure about Anokhi's POV yet bcz there is more to explore but I was talking about Shaurya.

He has never bothered about being on a pedestal or being respected. He has been point blank everytime. In fact he is uncomfortable with being hero worshipped or being placed on a pedestal and it evident bcz everytime someone appreciates him he clamps up puts up his walls.

He knows he is good but somehow he does not want people to see that in him. It makes him feel exposed and vulnerable. He feels like his secrets are out in the open. Today was the first time he wanted to willingly say something but they got interrupted.

Not saying that he pretending to be rude, coz he behaves well with everyone and he is a great professor but when it comes to personal relationships, he keeps himself guarded. As I said in another post, he has abandonment issues. One of the traits is controlling what happens around them. He wants to control things and suddenly Anokhi makes him spiral out of control by forcing him to address the issues he has tried to suppress within himself.
