Loved the Symbolism of the songs

Two songs were played in Bg during the episode.

Tera chehra jab nazar aye was the perfect song for showing the angst with Arijit crooning in his magical voice. The lyrics are so damn perfect. That song used perfectly shown in the movie Sanam Teri Kasam to show the passionate selfless love Inder had for Saru who was clueless and Oblivious towards possessive and protective Inder's feeling almost comparable to Shaurya's condition of one sided care and his exhaustion at being underestimated and thought of poorly by Anokhi.

The second song Maai teri chunar lehrai again by Arijit symbolizes a child's need for protection and hiding behind his mother's pallu. The song played in the movie ABCD 2 when Varun Dhawan's character had literally disappointed his mother by cheating. The song was a cry for comfort and guilt by a scared long child. This was the perfect fit for Shaurya's present condition too who was hiding in shame and guilt unable to face his mother and hug her and breakdown like he really wanted to. He was physically and mentally exhausted with sleepless nights, comforting Shaan and Anokhi, finding her, getting battered and bruised in the riot, doing a thankless job of saving somebody and seeing a couple of dead bodies. He needed some respite and comfort of a hug or putting his head down in her lap after a long traumatic day. But he couldn't do that. Jab jab mujhpe hai utha sawal maai teri chunar lehrai...the next scene we literally saw Shaurya being repraminded and misunderstood and his mother taking stand for him and protecting him from blame and accusations had my heart. The sense of shock or surprise on Shaurya's face seeing Astha standing up for him was a sense of wonderment. That song described his angst for his mother too.

Today’s episode was flooded with emotions and the songs chosen for today’s episode in particular were really good. They were very situational and made the scenes more beautiful. The lyrics were very meaningful and maai teri chunar was such a great choice. I think no other track would have suited better. It made the entire scene too emotional yet so meaningful.

I really appreciate the team who looks behind the music played with the scenes. They’re always great and super beautiful and glide in well with scenes making viewers feel even more connected😊

I am not a fan of loud BGM as I feel it takes away from the essence of the show. It's a tool to infantalize the audience and to extract certain emotions from them. No subtlety. But somehow in this show I liked how they used the song to speak unspoken words and the song didn't completely overpower the dialogues.

I absolutely love "Chunariya" during Shaurya and Astha scene but In recent days these songs they are using in background are kind of lessening the charm of scenes for me.

It seems they are kind of randomly putting any song which is romantic. Songs during riot sequence were poorly selected. There initial song selection was so beautiful.

So not liking these songs too much.

SHAKHI orignal background music would have been so beautiful for Shaurya's state. Specially those lines "Koi puche na kyu haal mera"❤️

The koi puche na kyu haal mera is a peppy chirpy song which couldn't reflect the sombre mood or feelings. If we had a sad version of this then that would have totally made sense for me too.
