Who “invited” Aastha to the party?

I was surprised to see her there and I doubt she would have come on her own given Anokhi did not reply to her messages and because of Shaurya’s behavior. So that leaves one person which is Alok. Since he told Devi he would take care of Aastha while she Anokhi. He must have invited here maybe with false hope and he knew Shaurya would get riled up. This must have been Aloks plan to get her to leave Chandigarh. It also explains how Devi approaches Anokhi after the party to take care of business at the other end (no scene yet but it’s probably coming up)

I felt bad for both son and mother but Aastha looked really desperate for her son’s love today. The hope he gave her with his hospital visit has made her yearn for her sons love and care. Yet his words are the exact opposite of what he’s set internally since learning of her accident.

Shaurya says a lot of things he doesn’t mean. Even with Anokhi, he tells her to leave class, tells her he never wants to see her face. And then he wants to see her lol. I think he’ll eventually have to get better at expressing himself and saying what’s truly on his mind. Will be part of his character growth and trajectory.

End scene looks like Anokhi is ready to charge like a bull at shaurya again 🤣🤣

Shaurya is in complete denial.

Denial is not just a reaction to avoid the truth but a mental barrier that is a protective reflex in a person. Shaurya is hurt enough and is trying to protect himself from more damage that can come through Astha and now her student.

He is not just denying himself of the truth but his own feelings for Astha bcz thinks it is his weakness. Until he stops living in denial about his issues, he won't be able deal with Astha and Anokhi.

He is on an evading spree. He just does not want to talk about the issues that bother him bcz he believes that he has buried them and isn't bothered abt them anymore and it's Anokhi who is digging out the corpse. He needs to realize that he is only affected bcz those issues are not dead or buried at all. They are out in open for everyone to see.
