In KD, eventually i think imon dedicates herself to work and pekhom (kid) gets sent to hostel when shes a little older.

And they just didn't address anything about 5 years mein kya hua. All they show is that imon and rono are both cut off from family completely abd each other. And the show ends 4-5 episodes after leap.

In roopkotha depression part, rono assumes imon is ok with everything hes doing and claims they are "a team" even though its obvious from imon's words and body language how hurt and upset is about the way hes behaving. In one showdown ahe tells him- just marry roopkotha and make a baby with her and he just gets angry. But next episode he looks "shocked" that imon has left him. And in the final showdown he asks her "what changed in one day", how could you leave without telling me. And imon says you have been pushing me away for a while snd now I'm finally "out" of love and decided enough is enough. And i cannot cheat myself and you by drsgging this relationship. Her lines are so beautiful and angsty! :( The actor playing imon is beautiful and such a good actor. I understand only limited bengali but still her every ecpression translated so well. Makes you want to literally go give her a hug.

while Sai gets taunted , man handled and sent out of the house for merely voicing out the truth. I would definitely not like him cajoling Pakhi if the rupkotha depression part comes true. She should be written out of the story or the Sai and Virat should deal with it as a team

pat kakus constant excuse for everything pakhi does is that she’s lonely and her husband is not there.. she’s a grown up woman and can take care of herself.. she doesn’t need to be spoon fed or taken care of as a 1 year old child..

Yeh Sai ko bachi kehte hain par phir pakhi kya hai!? Is she not a kid who needs attention!

She is manipulative, vindictive and constantly playing victim. Lack of self worth and self respect

I really really hope this doesn’t come true. Like I don’t understand the logic behind this. There are better ways and better storylines to add to the story. Not the same plot as KD till the end

I looked through the future plot of KD and watched several episodes and understood enough to see that eventually KD ruins a good show with too much drama and angst.

In KD, as much as imon also made mistakes, rono was plain ridiculous who suffered from god complex.

Imon begged him to share details of what was going on with Shruti (rono's friends wife). He told her to "trust" him and refused to give even a few details. Then she found out about this hotel incident where he called shruti his wife. And she got hurt, "misunderstood" him.

So imon leaves.

More than his actions/words she was mainly pissed that he didnt tell her anything and kept her in the dark.

Eventually things calm down.

But they show Shruti and imon are in hospital at the same time where imon is having their baby and he refused to go there coz there was an "emergency" with shruti at hospital even though his family - his brother offered to swap and take care of shruti matters. He was not with his wife when she was having their baby.

Then when finally they have just about reconciled , shruti comes back "sick" with breast cancer. And rono is behaving like dad to shruti's kid and is shrutis primary caretaker and lets her live in their house. Even though imon is the doctor/medical student, he is the one that is taking care of appointments and her treatment etc.

He leaves his own wedding anniversary celebration to fly out of town to get second opinion for shruti.

So eventually imon leaves him again.

This time she goes away to village and rono-shruti are taunted by family so he moves out with shruti they also end up in the same village as imon.

And shruti dies. But eventually in this village track, rono realizes that he was wrong to not be by imon during the birth of their baby and apologizes. And eventually after some drama about medicolegal case against Imon, finally they reconcile again.

Then badshah dies, roopkotha goes crazy, starts to demand rono's attention and rono thinks because she is depressed he should spend time with her, makes her false promises of love etc, takes care of her as if he is her husband etc etc.

Eventually imon leaves again and this time for good until they fast forward and 5 years later, roopkotha creates some drama , almost makes everyone believe that she is getting married to rono and in the last episode rono-imon reunite

Everytime in all these matters of shruti, roopkotha, Imon despite some mistakes from her end is for the MOST part completely transparent and honest that she doesn't want rono to get so personally invested in his "duty" to these ablanaaris that he takes her for granted and tells him that but he does not pay heed. His whole family rebukes him but he doesn't listen.

Its like he has decided that he is the Savior. He married imon the first time he "saved" a woman thinking its his duty. If polygamy was sllowed he'd probably have married the other 2 as well. 🙄😡

But imon as a wife was always made to feel "taken for granted" by him. We get justifications like he expected imon to understand his sense of duty and his unsaid words and his commitment to her even though he repeatedly would place her as his last priority or rather ignore her hurt. He just does lip service claiming to "love" imon but doesn't ever show that in his actions.

In all this imon isnt completely faultless but her mistakes pale in comparison to Rono because Rono's whole character and behavior is butchered eventually. Its far too much angst and so hard to watch them both separated and struggling.

I sincerely hope ghkpm changes atleast some of these tracks and their approach to the way they handle all these tracks.

Yawn 😴. I'm not a fan of such angsty-dramatic love stories. It can be angsty for a time - but it has to have a resolution. I'm beginning to wonder if GHKKPM will follow the story of KD - same on-off relationship until differences get sorted out after 12 years of marriage.🤢It will become a snooze fest then.

Exactly look at some of the shows in which lead pair gets separated and then don’t meet for months/ weeks like hit and miss, it is so stupid in my opinion.

These long separations are illogical and IRL people move on.. show something different for a change

Who will take care of Emon when she is depressed? Would it have been with Rono ok if her colleague cum friend took care of her because Emon lives alone? Only because Emon was a tough nut to crack, grew strong did she survive alone, dedicate her life to her work.

But after all these, they show Rono amd Roopkotha as victims 😂😂

Everyone in the family regret their behavior, feel apologetic to have accused Rono of having an affair with Roopkotha. I don't deny that they were misunderstood but it was because of Roopkotha all this started and Rono's take it for granted attitude towards Emon.

Whatever reasons Rono had, jus one simple question, if there was a role reversal, if Sai took care of her ex/brother in law would it have been ok with Rono?

Whatever emotional torture Virat is going through now that we feel bad that Sai isn't loving him or understanding him or trusting him, can it be compared to what Emon would go through when he keeps supporting two new women in his life even though he was always loyal? If we feel bad for Virat now, not sure how we are going to feel when Sai might go through in the future if they follow the same track as that of KD. Issey accha they can end the show after they get united.

I just don't want Virat to turn into that Rono.

But the way ghkpm is going, i feel like they will lift all the plots :( they seem to care 2 hoots about originality sadly. Their originalty has largely been limited to more virat-pp scenes which have added nothing to the plot whatsoever.

KD had all these cliche 3rd angle plots over and over. Infact with time, the 3rd angle broke rono-imon apart quicker than in the beginning. Thats just silly. You'd think that the bond of a husband-wife would get stronger with time. Shruti came between them TWICE! The second time it was DESPITE rono acknowledging to imon in their reconcilation that shruti had feelings for him. he knew how imon felt about her. Still she got in between. And whats worse is he got in fights with his pregnant wife. Its one thing to be duty bound to help shruti but another to bring everyone home to live with him and act as if he their husband. He did it once for imon but after hes officially married he cant keep on repeating the same thing! Especially when he can see it disrupta his own life.

And then after shruti, they showed roopkptha again come between them! And again rono was SO insensitive. He literally ignores Imon's pain and gives her this rubbish about being a team. Imon sees him literally hugging roopkotha making false promises to her because shes depressed and rono claims his actions are all only out of duty abd coz the doctor said to keep her stress free. Its utter crap.

I really hope that ghkpm doesn't mindlessly copy these things.

They can show angst and separation because its ITV and they love to show "separation" drama but i really hope that the situations, treatment and dialogues are more logical than KD.

@bold exactly I prefer finite shows over long stretched ones.. they start losing their charm and become monotonous!!

I rather have GHKKPM last for 250/500 episodes than go on for another 1000 showing regressive content

good god I don’t want to see all this. I hope they don’t ruin the brilliant chemistry the leads have with this atrocious plot

But lil mean of me to say it , if this is how ghkkpm is going to pan out then the offscreen pair might be the happiest to get more screen time.

Completely agree. A shorter 250-300 episodes show is better than 700 episodes of a cringeworthy angst filled sobfest. Atleast show will be memorable if its not dragged forever but develops logically and ends logically without butchering of characters.
