reading the KD version I think Tamil version is better. It has got memory loss for Virat. Sai realises her love for Virat after this. And they marry again. Pakhi and bk play a very dirty game as well.

Bk openly tells Pakhi to go after Virat 🤮 Tamil version has got its own butchering.

I sincerely hope they do a better job than the other two versions.

Devi- Pulkit track is different from the other two. we will know how the future tracks are going to be from this DP track.

In one of the reconciliations imon even tells rono that shruti LOVES him and in one episode i think shurti herself tells rono she started to develop feelings for him.

Rono says "how is it my fault if she loves me" , and imon confesses she is possessive about him just like he is about her. But despite all that they bring shruti back again and rono AGAIN lets her get in between his relationship with imon.

Till the end he refuses to acknowledge that he was wrong in taking imon for granted and states that he was never disloyal and was only doing his duty etc etc but he doesn't acknowledge that he forgot about his wifes feelings, her hurt. Expected her to be "understanding" and mahaan even though rono himself got so angry at a friend of imon's being in their bedroom to give notes and another time watching someone mix sugar in imons coffee in a coffeeshop. Both times he blew his fuse as if he caught imon having sex! Imon even asks him in the first shruti related reconciliation that if he is possessive about her, cant she be . But rono gives pravachan saying- yes but you cant "doubt" me. I only got insecure but i never actually doubted you etc etc. He defends shruti saying she was always guilty for coming between imon rono but never considered that there were SO many ways to help shruti without letting his own relationship with his wife become distant. But he keeps on justifying how he did everything out of duty and he never crossed the line but emotionally he drove imon away from him slowly and steadily.

The final confrontations before the 5 year leap are so angsty where imon basically says that i have fallen out of love because you have little by little pushed me away. Its so incredibly sad!

I think the Tamil makers realised how pathetic the track of Shruti was and scrapped it.. in that samrat a character didn’t die as well.. they showed a love story between samrakhi!

I would like to see that not this crap.

Emon might have made her mistakes but if I were in her shoes and my husband wasn’t there for me when I would be giving birth to our child, that would be the last straw in that relationship for me. I would leave, rather raise the child myself than be with someone who doesn’t care about me or our child.. absolutely disgusting and also the fact that KD has been written by a woman.
if they show this track in GHKKPM (highly unlikely cause I’m sure itna toh conscience hai ki yeh track bilkul bekar aur rubbish hai, and the fact that Neil might not agree to it) but if there is a 1% chance or even a 0.01% chance of them showing it that’ll be my last day watching the show, forget redemption of virats character..

This just reminds me of how women are always meant to understand what their husbands are doing, oh he’s just helping another girl, you should be happy na!

But when a woman does the same, she’s having an affair and what not..

men’s jealousy is accepted but not women’s!? Why? Just because society has set standards, women should be adjusting but men can do whatever they want.

not saying women are always right and that all men are like this but it’s a general consensus and it had been repeated time and again in television.. why does the women have to forgive! Just because a woman makes a home, cares for children so for that she should forgive her husband.

Isn’t it better to separate and give your child a better life than to stick through a marriage where there is no communication, trust or love. The child will see this and it will affect him/her in many ways in the future..

I looked through the future plot of KD and watched several episodes and understood enough to see that eventually KD ruins a good show with too much drama and angst.

In KD, as much as imon also made mistakes, rono was plain ridiculous who suffered from god complex.

Imon begged him to share details of what was going on with Shruti (rono's friends wife). He told her to "trust" him and refused to give even a few details. Then she found out about this hotel incident where he called shruti his wife. And she got hurt, "misunderstood" him.

So imon leaves.

More than his actions/words she was mainly pissed that he didnt tell her anything and kept her in the dark.

Eventually things calm down.

But they show Shruti and imon are in hospital at the same time where imon is having their baby and he refused to go there coz there was an "emergency" with shruti at hospital even though his family - his brother offered to swap and take care of shruti matters. He was not with his wife when she was having their baby.

Then when finally they have just about reconciled , shruti comes back "sick" with breast cancer. And rono is behaving like dad to shruti's kid and is shrutis primary caretaker and lets her live in their house. Even though imon is the doctor/medical student, he is the one that is taking care of appointments and her treatment etc.

He leaves his own wedding anniversary celebration to fly out of town to get second opinion for shruti.

So eventually imon leaves him again.

This time she goes away to village and rono-shruti are taunted by family so he moves out with shruti they also end up in the same village as imon.

And shruti dies. But eventually in this village track, rono realizes that he was wrong to not be by imon during the birth of their baby and apologizes. And eventually after some drama about medicolegal case against Imon, finally they reconcile again.

Then badshah dies, roopkotha goes crazy, starts to demand rono's attention and rono thinks because she is depressed he should spend time with her, makes her false promises of love etc, takes care of her as if he is her husband etc etc.

Eventually imon leaves again and this time for good until they fast forward and 5 years later, roopkotha creates some drama , almost makes everyone believe that she is getting married to rono and in the last episode rono-imon reunite

Everytime in all these matters of shruti, roopkotha, Imon despite some mistakes from her end is for the MOST part completely transparent and honest that she doesn't want rono to get so personally invested in his "duty" to these ablanaaris that he takes her for granted and tells him that but he does not pay heed. His whole family rebukes him but he doesn't listen.

Its like he has decided that he is the Savior. He married imon the first time he "saved" a woman thinking its his duty. If polygamy was sllowed he'd probably have married the other 2 as well. 🙄😡

But imon as a wife was always made to feel "taken for granted" by him. We get justifications like he expected imon to understand his sense of duty and his unsaid words and his commitment to her even though he repeatedly would place her as his last priority or rather ignore her hurt. He just does lip service claiming to "love" imon but doesn't ever show that in his actions.

In all this imon isnt completely faultless but her mistakes pale in comparison to Rono because Rono's whole character and behavior is butchered eventually. Its far too much angst and so hard to watch them both separated and struggling.

I sincerely hope ghkpm changes atleast some of these tracks and their approach to the way they handle all these tracks.

I Agree..The man has God Complex..I just hope they dont do this to Virat..

All of his this just portrays the double standards of society and I really hope they change it in GHKKPM..

That’s true she gets away with everything with just one reason. Her husband is missing.

while Sai gets taunted , man handled and sent out of the house for merely voicing out the truth. I would definitely not like him cajoling Pakhi if the rupkotha depression part comes true. She should be written out of the story or the Sai and Virat should deal with it as a team
