Tch tch, such short memories we all have here 😆 to recap, here's what really happened:

After getting the blessing from her beloved Bholenaath, Bani went home to Veer, told him he was the one for her, they hugged, he told her he loved her, she played coy and said she'd tell him ILU back another day. He said okay and made to leave to go downstairs but she stopped him, pulled him back and said "okay, no more games" and finally said ILU. Then she gave him the ring and told him to put it on her and she would become his "poore haq se", and he did, and then they both cried and he told her ILU again and she told him ILU again and they cried and hugged some more and decided to stay in their room, just the two of them. And all the while first Pal and then Dil Ibaadat played over them.

Then in the morning, they got up and decided to run away to the Maldives, where they currently are and will forever be, happy, in love and in peace

How could you forget such a wonderful story?! 😭 *sniffs*

Because DI has that intensity,angst and emotion that perfectly matches vani!! Tere sang is very mellow and slow and kinda fit for a different type of love story.

Vani tbh acc to their characters had/were supposed to have a very DARK love story!! And DI had that vibe!!

Yess. DI matched VaNi's story and dynamics more. I guess it was also that it was exclusive to VaNi while Tere Sang had been used for the other couples too. Which is probably why most of us like it more when the Male Version was added specifically for them, then it became more of VaNi's too.
