Piya-Maithili OR Elena-Katherine?

Since we all know the doppelgänger track was a rip off from TVD, which duo did u like more?

Personally I preferred Elena-Katherine simply because how well Nina Dobrev performed. Maithili and Piya did not seem like two different people, so it felt strange how Abhay was falling for the duplicate of his first love.

Nina on the other hand played 4 dopplegangers, Amara, Tatia, Katerina (Katherine) and Elena. You could easily distinguish between the two.

Soooo thoughts??

I really like Katherine as a character, lots of depth and I enjoyed her screen presence 😎 Maithili was okay but I didn’t get the same feeling I got with Katherine

So I’d also go with Elena-Katherine

Katherine and Elena were completely two different character despite being played by the same actress. You could very clearly see how and why Stefan and Damon first fell in and then out of love with Katherine...and it also made sense why they fell for Elena.

TVD at least justified why Katherine and Elena looked alike...initially they said it was for the Original vampires, but the story then dated to the First Immortals.

PKYEK didn't justify why Maithili and Piya looked alike. That did the Pandher and Jaiswal/Dobriyal linage have something in common?

Another inconsistency was Maithili's transformation. It wasn't possible that she survived those hours in the first while Sid was transforming into a vampire. And Chand has specifically mentioned after Piya got bitten by Abhay that in order to be a vampire, Piya would have to be bitten again on 2 consecutive full moon nights. That way it made no sense how T became a vampire 😆 And hw Maithili of all vampires was able to possess her body, an ability which the strongest vampire Abhay also didn't have 😆

I think I mentioned the transformation thing in another topic, but yeah it made no sense 🤣 unless some random vampire did it without any of their knowledge 🤪

Oh yeah u did, glad to see another avid viewer here 😆

TVD lost track after season 4 and then the Nian drama just added to it...the writers there also ran out of ideas. But they get a full year to write episodes for the next season, humare writers are writing round the clock and still manage to do a better job 😆

I never watched TVD. After reading novel I had planned to but reading the reviews and so many seasons, I already felt tired and bored. 😆 So never watched it.

But by your pictures I'm liking Katherine Elina.

I think Pkyek justified their same looks. Chand had said something like this could happen in centuries and by drinking doppelganger blood could give immense power or something when they first get to know about Maithli. Besides, doppelganger are rare but not unheard of. So I didn't find it weird.

You're right Maithli couldn't be turned by newborn Vampire. Siddharth couldn't possibly know the method and do it perfectly. How come no one get to know about Maithli?

And if someone remember there was a part where Siddharth got call or something when he was bringing to Piya. Sid was scared that higher authority were stopping him to go there.

I couldn't understand reason. Did anyone else?

As for Piya turning then I think that method was to turn alive human into Vampire. Because Abhay became Vampire instantly as per flashback.

And T was dead. She was never turned into Vampire. I think Abhay had found her decay body too. It was just Maithli had taken T face. She had weird powers in second season and even had controlled Haseena.

Some witchcraft maybe?
