I'm back! It's February, the month of love! Issi pe, do lines arz kiya jaye;
Her skin shivered as she felt him gaze at her, her body felt on fire. He lost a footing when he touched her, her body warm and supple. Their hearts beat in synchrony, dhak dhak.
One of the reasons why we come up with such lines for Arnav and Khushi is because how beautifully they showed the tension between them. There were no words, just their heady gazes and soft breezes.
Some label it sexual tension, others label it lust, some call it infatuation, and others might call it attraction - either way one of the key elements behind IPK's success is truly the crackling chemistry between Arnav and Khushi.
We've all basked in the sparks between the two and here are a collection of gifs that express just how beautifully with subtlety they captured the blazing fire of ArShi.
What were your such favorite moments of Arnav & Khushi? Where you felt the pull they did? Felt your heartbeat increase with theirs? Swore you could also listen to a Rabba Ve?
Welcome to Iss Thirst Ko Kya Naam Doon
I have always been fascinated by this grip. A small sense of comfort while the whole world burned in this new curiosity between the two of them. Yes, I also Rabba Ve'd the hell out of this moment but just this little tight grip - something so small - was so brilliantly effective.

If there was ever a read between the scenes like a read between the lines. As Arnav unwrapped Khushi - like a gift - it was so much and nothing at the same time. Just a few lights, a wire, a man helping a woman out. But the touches, the gazes, the implication! So wonderfully set right before Diwali. This is the epitome of slow burn.

Again, I'm just quietly marveled at the brilliance in directing. It's nothing much, it's a fleeting touch but look at where it is. His pulse. This is one of my favorite shots of all time.

This scene just slapped on our faces the power of his gaze. The intensity, how arresting his eyes are! Also, if I need to say more then bachcha, this is not for you.
I was always taken by the moment the tension broke. Just like a strong gust of wind, they are shaky, a bit breathless, confused and try to grasp their resolve at the first second. You know something potent has passed because of little moments like this.

No. Words. Needed.

Just when we thought Diwali had irreparably damaged things between them we see a glimpse of what remains, stronger than ever. Really, the beauty of this show are its fleeting touches that says more than anything ever.

Three questions. 1) I am not the only one who had a heart attack when this happened, right? 2) HOW DID THE FAMILIES IMMEDIATELY NOT START PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? 3) I am not the only one who's still having a dhak dhak over this scene right?
I don't have words for this. This glimpse of their passion, their feelings, their tension speaks so well to us. It says more than a more uninhibited scene would. Because we feel the extent of their thoughts in our imaginations.

First of all this mehendi was gorgeous! Second, I gasped when they accidentally touched hands. This moment was so fraught with tension, where we couldn't predict how and where things would take a turn - Arnav's flirting and Khushi blurting 'farak padta hai' taking us by surprise.
This one shot. Meri saansein ruk gayi. This is flirting at the highest level.

There's something incredibly intimate in the way he holds her hand and picks on the bangle piece with his teeth. Again, it's her pulse.

Whenever we're sure things died by the brutality of things, this dance sequence tells us NOPE, it's alive - despite everything. It's one of my favorite shots. It's passion and angst. It feeds my soul.

Yes, I want to smack Arnav for what he's doing but in this scene Khushi just looks... fabulous. Also there's this strange interplay between anger, intensity and passion where you don't know what you want from a scene but you're enjoying what's happening? (if Arnav just kept his mouth shut, this scene is mirchi lagaike hot).

Wedding magic! What a remarriage this was - I love that they have their private ceremonies for every ritual and that Arnav was doing something incredibly sweet while being extremely sensuous. We're back to these fleeting touches that translates SO MUCH MORE. Subtlety truly rules.

This is my favorite dance sequence in IPK, it's warm, comforting, sensual, happy, heady. This particular shot is breathtaking. Why? Ab yeh humse mat bulwao! Sharm se marr jayenge!

The touch returns! One of extreme comfort, soft whispers and skyrocket levels of intensity. Perhaps one of my favorite Rabba Ve's post marriage. And I love it that we see so little and again, it says so much. Nothing is exaggerated, it's literally two minutes of silence. We all must appreciate the beauty of these little touches!

Silhouettes are my weak spot! But this is a brilliant example of allusion and anticipation. I cannot praise IPK enough for always allowing chemistry to simmer and build. The darkness and shadows build romance like nothing else.
Here's the end of the list! Happy Valentine's in advance - single ho ya mingled, enjoy this month of loving by loving yourself and the show that defined romance for a lot of us!
