I'm back! It's February, the month of love! Issi pe, do lines arz kiya jaye;

Her skin shivered as she felt him gaze at her, her body felt on fire. He lost a footing when he touched her, her body warm and supple. Their hearts beat in synchrony, dhak dhak.

One of the reasons why we come up with such lines for Arnav and Khushi is because how beautifully they showed the tension between them. There were no words, just their heady gazes and soft breezes.

Some label it sexual tension, others label it lust, some call it infatuation, and others might call it attraction - either way one of the key elements behind IPK's success is truly the crackling chemistry between Arnav and Khushi.

We've all basked in the sparks between the two and here are a collection of gifs that express just how beautifully with subtlety they captured the blazing fire of ArShi.

What were your such favorite moments of Arnav & Khushi? Where you felt the pull they did? Felt your heartbeat increase with theirs? Swore you could also listen to a Rabba Ve?

Welcome to Iss Thirst Ko Kya Naam Doon

Image

I have always been fascinated by this grip. A small sense of comfort while the whole world burned in this new curiosity between the two of them. Yes, I also Rabba Ve'd the hell out of this moment but just this little tight grip - something so small - was so brilliantly effective.

Image

If there was ever a read between the scenes like a read between the lines. As Arnav unwrapped Khushi - like a gift - it was so much and nothing at the same time. Just a few lights, a wire, a man helping a woman out. But the touches, the gazes, the implication! So wonderfully set right before Diwali. This is the epitome of slow burn.

Image

Again, I'm just quietly marveled at the brilliance in directing. It's nothing much, it's a fleeting touch but look at where it is. His pulse. This is one of my favorite shots of all time.

Image

This scene just slapped on our faces the power of his gaze. The intensity, how arresting his eyes are! Also, if I need to say more then bachcha, this is not for you.

Image

I was always taken by the moment the tension broke. Just like a strong gust of wind, they are shaky, a bit breathless, confused and try to grasp their resolve at the first second. You know something potent has passed because of little moments like this.

Image

No. Words. Needed.

Image

Just when we thought Diwali had irreparably damaged things between them we see a glimpse of what remains, stronger than ever. Really, the beauty of this show are its fleeting touches that says more than anything ever.

Image

Three questions. 1) I am not the only one who had a heart attack when this happened, right? 2) HOW DID THE FAMILIES IMMEDIATELY NOT START PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? 3) I am not the only one who's still having a dhak dhak over this scene right?

I don't have words for this. This glimpse of their passion, their feelings, their tension speaks so well to us. It says more than a more uninhibited scene would. Because we feel the extent of their thoughts in our imaginations.

Image

First of all this mehendi was gorgeous! Second, I gasped when they accidentally touched hands. This moment was so fraught with tension, where we couldn't predict how and where things would take a turn - Arnav's flirting and Khushi blurting 'farak padta hai' taking us by surprise.

Image

This one shot. Meri saansein ruk gayi. This is flirting at the highest level.

Image

There's something incredibly intimate in the way he holds her hand and picks on the bangle piece with his teeth. Again, it's her pulse.

Image

Whenever we're sure things died by the brutality of things, this dance sequence tells us NOPE, it's alive - despite everything. It's one of my favorite shots. It's passion and angst. It feeds my soul.

Image

Yes, I want to smack Arnav for what he's doing but in this scene Khushi just looks... fabulous. Also there's this strange interplay between anger, intensity and passion where you don't know what you want from a scene but you're enjoying what's happening? (if Arnav just kept his mouth shut, this scene is mirchi lagaike hot).

Image

Wedding magic! What a remarriage this was - I love that they have their private ceremonies for every ritual and that Arnav was doing something incredibly sweet while being extremely sensuous. We're back to these fleeting touches that translates SO MUCH MORE. Subtlety truly rules.

Image

This is my favorite dance sequence in IPK, it's warm, comforting, sensual, happy, heady. This particular shot is breathtaking. Why? Ab yeh humse mat bulwao! Sharm se marr jayenge!

Image

The touch returns! One of extreme comfort, soft whispers and skyrocket levels of intensity. Perhaps one of my favorite Rabba Ve's post marriage. And I love it that we see so little and again, it says so much. Nothing is exaggerated, it's literally two minutes of silence. We all must appreciate the beauty of these little touches!

Image

Silhouettes are my weak spot! But this is a brilliant example of allusion and anticipation. I cannot praise IPK enough for always allowing chemistry to simmer and build. The darkness and shadows build romance like nothing else.

Here's the end of the list! Happy Valentine's in advance - single ho ya mingled, enjoy this month of loving by loving yourself and the show that defined romance for a lot of us!

xoxo,

S

Dear S ❤️ you have picked utterly sublime moments. Passion and intensity when whispered is so much more powerful than when it's pushed in your face. Love how you have highlighted that.

As I was scrolling through, I thought of the "haq hai tumhara... mujh par" moment at Laxminagar, when Arnav leisurely flicks water from Khushi's throat. It got her heart racing, but when I see the ones you have here, I saw that the deliberateness of it doesn't allow it to fit in with what is here.

February is special. It's also bittersweet. The deliciousness of the moments leading up to Valentine's day imploded spectacularly on the day itself.

I'm going to spend a lot of time savouring each of the gifs you have created 😍

I was in Uni when I saw your post but checking IPK GiFS there would have brought in unnecessary attention and trouble. So finally here I'm.. opened IF as soon as I got home 😆.

And wow! I can just one thing... I'll be revisiting this thread to view these wonderful GIFs many more times ❤️. And if I remember some other such moments, I'll put up my list too 😳. I think you have nearly covered all the important moments... but with Arshi, there's so much intensity and passion in nearly every scene... that I'm sure I'll find something that's not yet mentioned here 😆.

Thank you for making this thread and the beautiful GIFs ⭐️.

Love,

Stuti

Namaste ji!

I knew it you'd be here - thank you so much for liking the post. Yes, I believe these little moments create more intensity than straight up watching two people mash their faces together on screen.

Ah, in my Tumblr I have kept that under 'Thirst' but when it comes about writing about it, it's also a time when I really want to smack Arnav hard on his face for that. What he did was testing Khushi, as well as flirting(?) when they kind of needed a real important conversation.

Out of context, it is an incredibly intimate scene but in context, he literally bought her house and was threatening her to stay with him - and as you rightly said, the deliberateness of it truly doesn't allow it to fit with what's here.

I'm always crying in the episode right before February 14. Always. It gives me a pain like none other and I'm kind of a little hurt that this innocence, love, nascent trust and joy never comes back in their lives.

They marry because Dadi brought up the whole thing. Arnav and Khushi are struggling with their feelings and at the end they're together because they realised they can't stay without the other person. Arnav knows he loves her and even yells at her the same and Khushi is just relieved that her feelings have been returned and she has a chance to live the marriage she dreamt off.

I know if we read between the lines then it's beautiful and we see that love returned.

But jab nafrat was so beautiful enunciated and shown to us, it wouldn't have hurt to see the mohabbat too right?

I often dream of a proper confession not because it's the standard of romance, only because we saw that dream breaking into pieces. Lol, this seems to be a touchy topic!

Let's be prepared for the dard of Valentine's.

Side note: PayAsh were super cute!

I'm sure you'll come up with more moments - like you said, there's so much in so many scenes!

👏👏👏Big applause for making such a post.

Your post made my throat dry and desperately need water now☺️

1. when arnav smeared haldi on kushi's bare back through his knuckles,my heart stopped beating. And the way her body responded immediately to his

touch.

2.Second is from the consummation scene.Words are not enough to describe the beauty of dis scene.

a.The aroused look he gave after being kissed by his beloved.

b.The way he closed his eyes and letting her to kiss his eyelids.......the satisfied smile on his face, the tears.........made me feel dizzy.

c.His knee movement, her toe currling just after he rolls on top of her for a kiss(not sure)🤪🤪🤪.

d.Her grip on his sweater tightens while he slides her pallu aside .The way her body shakes while he tries to untie her dori gently made me feel heaven.

3.Just after the song 'ab na jaa',kushi get down from his hold.....arnav again caresses her arms through his knuckle and suddenly kushi feels weak and hugs him.I truly felt kushi's feelings.

These were some other scenes dat made my heart skip a beat.

Again congrats for such amazing thought.
