WORD. Imlie ko toh Adi faltu mein boogeyman bana raha hai. Truth is, his relationship with Malini has never been tested to know how much strength it actually has. Bas deengein haank li hain of hum kitna pyar karte hain 7 saal se, humesha saath rahenge.....but jab test ka time aaya toh it failed.

Imlie became an unwitting catalyst in testing Adi-Malini's relationship and they both failed the test. But rather than acknowledge that they failed the test, Adi would rather find a scapegoat....and that is where he is easily able to pin it all on Imlie. Aage jaake Malini bhi likely Imlie ko hi blame karegi for messing up her relationship with Adi rather than reflecting on the fact that their relationship was weak to begin with.

On the other hand, Adi's connect with Imlie is only strengthening in the face of so many storms....but he is too blinded to realize that. I think ek woh block bhi hai ki 7 saal ka rishta automatically strong hota hai jabki 2-3 hafte mein kaise koi rishta strong ho sakta hai....yet if Adi pauses to reflect, he will see that Imlie has firmly stood up for him, with him and to him in the short time she's known him.....something he barely has with Malini cuz he spends most of his time coddling her.

The other enduring irony is that over-time Adi is hiding more and more things from Malini while he keeps getting more and more candid with Imlie. Aaj ka convo bhi wohi tha....they both literally talked out their conundrum again rather than the usual case of Adi blindly accusing her....he shared his thoughts with her and where he is mentally at this point....regardless of how paradoxical it all is....and in that process, they came closer....whether or not Adi realizes it 😆

I have not yet watched last few episodes. But Imlie ko rote hue dekh ke ab mere aankhe sujh gayi hai. 😆 I just cant get that line she said in her interview, script mein sirf rona hi hai. 🤣They need to reduce that constant rona dhona in future episodes 😆

lol i found this very very interesting so SP itself tried to remake this show pehle in 2015 i have NO MEMORY whatsoever but this is the second time they are remaking the same show after a gap and this time gave it to gul

This show has been highly controversial, because of its poor and misleading content. This has also enraged the tribal community of West Bengal for hurting their sentiments and portraying tribal characters poorly. A lawsuit was filed by the tribal community in July 2014 in Kolkata High Court against the channel for portraying tribal women's characters in poor light as well as ridiculing their language and culture. Though the channel denied all charges, there was a huge uproar from the audience towards the themes of cheating women, and domestic violence, provocation of suicide etc. by the lead characters of Archi and Baha.[6]

so i read the synopsis not gonna post here to ruin toomuch and idk if i should post itna bhi lol but apparently malini ka character in original will become suicidal and will keep attempt twice but eventually will come around and get the 2 married legally and be happy and then will get involved with some lawyer who will ditch her again and her losing her mental stability... Man that soundsss tooo darka nd then adi's character will help her and akhir main yeh lawyer ka bacha adi ko thama ke marr jayegi rofl so adi and imlie will get a free a bacha bhi hahahah .. thank god for no leaps and no nonsense of that kind mentioned on wiki though 4 saal chalaye thay yeh log yeh show hahaa kaafi zyada drama bhara pada hai sabki lives main hahah

and imli to foreign se padh ke aayegi or wellt he character let'ssee how gul does i bohat zyada scope hai idhar isko acheeee se chalane ka and so far to touchwood******kaala teeka* they've done very well from story pov and rewriting .. baaki this sounds very predictable and one dimensional in readin but remains to be seen how they execute caz it is that which caught our eye...

dekh liya yeh scene and these are some of my absolute fav bits.... Man ic an't with how after shivika i think this is the first time i am feeling that kind of emotional attachment to a couple and their conversations... every little bit has so muchhhhhhhh to cap and gif

babusahib ko koi yeh dikhao naaaaa kaise naturally a smile flares up on his face seeing her crack a lame one liner to ease up the mood like saying sorry from kismat's side as she can't herself say it and sharing itna sweet sa chotu sa moment . it's barely 2 secs long but itna sukoon hai in how naturally the smiles appear

this is my most fav with how she mentions ke ab yeh sach haiii and sach ke saamne kisi ki marzi kabhi nahi chalti all one can do is accept it . his eyes just well up again and a tear falls slowlyy.. in this moment i felt he was more upset caz of how she is attached to this bond and how she is suffering more then himself caz then later he specificallly seedhe shabdon main said ke tumhein adhikar nahi de sakta maan nahi de sakte darja nahi de sakte patni ka toh iss rishte ko manane ka kya faayda... it almost had a samjhane wali tone itna soft tha he had that why don't you understand you are hurting and in pain here he was feeling her pain and i felt bonded over the sufferings but specifically for a moment he did look past his dard and felt genuinly bad for her having to deal with this even when he can't do anything for her.. i also felt that when he said that he can't it was more as if he wants too but something just holds him backkkkk and that something needs to be worked upon he is torn between wanting to do it but not being able to do it and then he denies the want with nope i am malini's it's almost liek he wants to help her and ease her pain in this moment.. yes babusahib we know we know aapko dukh raha hai yeh iss jhalli ko aise dard main dekh ke

then she went well it's not maths ke calculated decisions liye jaaye ya we get answers liek that about faayda or nuksan

and then this was adorable with how he careessed her face and went apna dhyaan rakhoo aww babusahib aap bohat sweet ho

I did the mistake of going to the forum and now am hell pissed and regretting that ek bhi dhang ka topic nahi haia nd sab muktalif non existent matters pe ro Peet rahe hai.. ek banda nahi hai jo samjha hai kahani characters ya kisi ko ko koi lena dena ho iss sabse ... sab ko bas yeh oadi hai ke malini ko kaise maarein and adi imli ka romance ho

.. all the name calling hum tabah ho gaya barbaad ho gaye aaj ke baad caz they both called a truce kya BS hai

Man i don't have stamina for that again and I Don't want to give up and hate the one show am liking after so long ...

Amazing jahan actual layers exist wahan they can't see them but superficial onion lady inko dikhti hai

Anyway mera ho gaya... here's praying to God ke gul ignores their bullshit for a bit and keeps her focus on the good work and her team doesn't let go of it that fast.. trp auntiyon ab aapka hi Sahara hai mujhe

Anyways on a different note I am all caught up now ... and I want to discuss yeh SR wala confrontation in detaill....

LOL I had vaguely read somewhere that Mohi was the previous remake of this Bengali show and maine usko SP ki list of shows mein dekha hai on Hotstar but I never explored it in detail.

Aaj jaake check kar liya.....ROFL yes, the plot is copy/paste....wahaan bhi ek Satyakaam tha🤣. There are some key differences so far though. Imlie's plot is moving much faster. Mohi mein the first shaadi doesn't happen until epi 25 or so. And I checked out one random epi.....usmein family backdrop was Marathi from the Adi-Malini side. And the FL was a more overtly tribal character. The conflict in the village was a Naxalite issue but yahaan Gul has sort of sanitized it and made Imlie a more generic village girl character and the conflict as some kind of general "baaghi" conflict.

They also seem to have way more village characters on Mohi's side in that show....and more cliched type too. Ditto for the ML's family....I skimmed through and saw ki koi negative chachi/daadi thi who was plotting against Mohi throughout half the story....lol.....baaki sab kaafi hadh tak similar hai....bigamy was there in that show also.....wahaan ML eventually got arrested for it too🤣....us show ki Mrs. C ne karvaya shaayad arrest use.....lol

Sabse badaa difference I will say is what makes or breaks a show many times.....casting. ST is RADIANT in this role....matlab she literally lights it up and pulls you in as Imlie. The girl they cast as Mohi didn't have that kind of charm. Baaki Gul has made Imlie wackier too in her typical Gul ki paagal FLs style....lol.....and the ML in that Mohi show was more boyish. Aditya is shown as an older/more mature character in his interactions with Imlie too. Wahaan first meet se hi romantic music ke saath eyelocks ho rahe the😆

Funniest thing was I scrolled to the last epi, and wahaan they showed the Adi-Malini of that show as endgame🤣.....oh and also, us show ki Malini seemed like constantly beemar/frail and isiliye shuru se hi excuse tha to coddle her and treat her like a delicate soul. I couldn't really detect any chemistry b/w Mohi and the ML of that show jitna bhi maine dekha.....lol

Toh jaise bhi hua hai is baar, SP ka second attempt at this storyline is working out much better so far😆......now I don't know if the Bengali version also had such good build up of the Adi-Imlie emotional bonding or it's as one-dimensional as it sounds on paper like it appears in this Mohi show too.....but the key reason Imlie is working is cuz of that IMO.....along with ofcourse the family moment and all character interactions done nicely.....also the bg score/songs are much better.

But baap re at the synopsis of the Bengali show.....lol ofcourse 4 years chala liya hoga agar itna drama kiya.....1.5 years toh secret hi chhupaa li hogi aaraam se....and uske baad Malini ke suicide attempts and her second marriage etc....bahut kheench sakte hain aise toh....time will tell. Mere liye toh main hook will remain the Adi-Imlie relationship....agar bahut dark kar diya vis a vis Malini, toh I might loose interest.....lol.....waise this makes it sound like all our theories about Malini's character turning grey in insecurity aren't going to pan out😆

Oh LOL tumne maar liya forum ka chakkar? I told you wahaan ka kya mahaul hai😆.....isiliye toh maine bas ek do threads mein post kiya and uske baad I'm just sticking to the creations/pic gallery😆

I'd much rather discuss the show here in the CC aaraam se without faltugiri.....wahaan bahut unnecessary negativity hai which ends up impacting the viewing experience if you want to experience the story firsthand. The show has a lot of layering and nuance so far with good scope for discussion but wahaan log ajeeb faltu cheezon pe rote rehte hain like they have a daily meter to measure ki Malini kaise Adi-Imlie ke chances ruin kar rahi hai....lol....rather than focusing on the overall nuances.

So far toh the writers seem to be sticking to their story without pandering to fangirls ka rona dhona....aage dekhte hain kya hota hai.

Oyeee pehle kal ke epi ka Adi-Malini scene discuss karo mere saath.....I can't be the only one who was dying laughing so much.....it was TOO FUNNY to see Malini so Imlie obsessed and wanting to beat up Imlie ka pati🤣

Yeh dekho Mohi show ka second wedding promo.....is show ka Adi toh totally guilt free hoke aaraam se shaadi kar raha tha Malini se🤣......atleast apna Adi does feel guilt more overtly😆 and Imlie weighs on his mind much more

Arre shaadi nahi kari malini ne boyfriend tha uska koi lawyer who was fighting satyakaam ka case as per original ka synopsis and ussi main kahin end main she died got shot or something. I was toh lost on figuring out who is who and I still am confused

Abhi toh rupi di ka track bhi kaafi extensive hai aage if they are following this caz in that it said she will fall in love get married then miscarry and uska ilzam will be on the main FL whatever her name was there and then that will push adi imlie away after shaadi or something by shaadi I mean malini after suicide attempts will get them a happy shaadi hahaha
