Virendra is too invested in pain of loss and Sakshi is kind of his Achilees heel. I mean usne Mana Sarkar se bhi badtamizi ki thi naa mill waale scene mein when Mama Sarkar got heart attack. Sakshi ka topic nahi hota toh woh itna blinded nahi hota.
It's just my point of view but har kisi ki ek khaami toh hoti hi hai and anything related to Sakshi is Virendra's.
I mean he hasn't been able to talk to his own kids for years because he can't look them in the eye because of his guilt. The way his character is potrayed so far, this is what I have deduced. Just my opinion but given his behaviour with Mama Sarkar and his children, his reaction to Purvi was on the same line, utterly wrong but in line with everything else. That is to say his only blindspot is Sakshi.
