I agree, har baar saza dete hain, yeh kuch zyada ho gaya. Mujhe bhi yeh ajeeb laga but I overlooked it. I think Bandini ka dialogue copy kar rahe hain.

Virendra is too invested in pain of loss and Sakshi is kind of his Achilees heel. I mean usne Mana Sarkar se bhi badtamizi ki thi naa mill waale scene mein when Mama Sarkar got heart attack. Sakshi ka topic nahi hota toh woh itna blinded nahi hota.
It's just my point of view but har kisi ki ek khaami toh hoti hi hai and anything related to Sakshi is Virendra's.
I mean he hasn't been able to talk to his own kids for years because he can't look them in the eye because of his guilt. The way his character is potrayed so far, this is what I have deduced. Just my opinion but given his behaviour with Mama Sarkar and his children, his reaction to Purvi was on the same line, utterly wrong but in line with everything else. That is to say his only blindspot is Sakshi.

I agree with this glorifying thing. It's Ekta's common concept really. "Har baar sazaa" was a bit too much. They could have written the dialogues sticking to the facts and it would have had the same impact.
Bringing Sakshi is understandable for me, because she is frustrated and heartbroken. And we all say things in anger that we don't really mean. That's just my opinion.
I think just like Virendra's achilees heel is Sakshi, Purvi's achilees heel is the issue of her self-respect. I mean till the point she wasn't called a their she was basically silent. Or whatever she said wasn't a burst out like this, may it be when the truth of Virendra's first marriage and children came in front of her or while complaining to Virendra the first time "ki aapne meri marzi ke bina mujhse shaadi kyun ki".
What Purvi said, most of it was true but some of it was exaggerated, and I feel it would have been a better scene without the exaggeration.

True, this is the first time ever that Virendra insulted her. Earlier he was honest with her that he can't give her wife's place, which was heartbreaking of course.
And great observation, the fact that she wanted a husband like him meant she admired him, and if he had been insulting her from day 1, she could have never admired him.
Also, I too wondered why she didn't the topic of spoiling Juhi's birthday. My heart broke when he destroyed the cake and this issue wasn't even raised. This was an impulsive blunder on his part.
