Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited about how the makers are going to untangle this deadly web.
It’s just a little sad.
Vansh wants to teach Riddhima a lesson, to extract the truth from her. But along the way, he slips up because his feelings for her were all consuming. He can’t help but still want his wife. He can’t help but still love her.
What I see now is, he keeps TAINTING every good memory she has for him by acting it out as Vihaan. But in Riddhima being an emotional fool, every slip up he does makes her recognize him. It’s a little fcked up that the bad memories are the ones that reminded her of her husband. Vihaan threatening her, manhandling her, being angry at her. It all reminded her of her Vansh. And it’s sad that those are the memories that reminded her of Vansh. Every good memory they have that was acted out, makes her doubt Vihaan’s motive because Vansh made her believe it was Vihaan every time he did it.
And here he wonders why his wife never fully trusted him like he wanted ? Even he doesn’t trust his own shadow.
What I do see is, I think he realizes that what he knew before jumping off the cliff was not the full truth. That Riddhima is wrong, but all is not exactly her planning. If so, than she would’ve been happy being married of to Kabir. But here she gave him her own money not touching a single cent of the VRS money. So now he is trying to find out, akhir kya chahti hai is lardki. He was hurt when he found out she wanted the property from Dadi, but then he got confused again, when at the temple she shouted Dadi’s name in a panic. He was never able to figure out this wife of his, and every step he took that he thought was well planned out will end up being his downfall.
Remember, a person should never behave like a god, it will bring endless suffering.
