What Bhavani said in that episode was that they'd be happy to take care of Mansi financially but she wouldn't be comfortable with it or wouldn't accept it. After all, ever since Samrat got his job in the army, Mansi has only depended on her son for money.

@Bold: Agreed. PP wouldn't be after the money. Her only motivation is Virat (the more I think about this, the more eerie and creepy it gets). But the Chavans don't know her in and out so they're only using whatever little information they have with their narrow mindset.

Well, what Bhavani and Ninad explicitly said was that while they were ready to take care of Mansi's expenses, Mansi herself wouldn't accept it out of her self-respect. But who knows what they were thinking on the inside. These people are one thing on the outside and another on the inside.

Oh yeah I remember now that is what kaku had said, because kaku had said something along the lines that mansi would not ask money from us. Thanks for reminding. It does seem from that conversation that bhavani kaku is more worried about mansi if samrat never returns and if pakhi leaves rather than anything else because samrat is all that mansi really has that she truly considers her own. This is why I feel it sucks that if despite being alive, samrat isn't returning to his mother just because of virat-pakhi. It's really not fair.

I don't know if anyone remembers, but in previous episodes after they found out about Samrat being MIA, Bhavani and Ninad had a chat about this. They were scared that if Samrat doesn't return then all his money will go to his wife (PP) not his mother (Mansi). So they decided to make sure PP is included and feels loved in the Chavan house. They made sure to ensure that she doesn't leave the house so that if Samrat doesn't come back, Mansi would still have access to his money.

Aakhir yeh Chavan khaandaan hain bhai, unconditional love thodi na denge?

I totally forgot about that in all the shouting Chavan's do. This makes more sense. When Sai becomes a doctor then she will be the apple of the eye as she will be making the most money.
