How he should deal with Pakhi from that point after she returns will entirely depend on what he learns from this experience. I think at this moment he's is in a tough situation. Sai was right in giving it back to Pakhi and Virat was appropriate in defending Sai. Now either of them going to Pakhi's house would be like feeling sorry for being yourself and standing up for the person whom you believed was fair in the verbal exchange that happened on the previous night. Since going to Pakhi's house to bring her back has become an inevitable thing Virat will be the first 'sipahi' to leave on this mission and Sai will follow him. smiley36

Point!! The fact that she will return only with Sai's apology shows her up..

In her ego and over confidence, she doesn't realise that she's losing face especially in front of Virat , even Ashwini etc.

However, this only means she will get more vicious.

Agree in totality 👍🏼

@bold: That last sentence has such a Pati-Patni on mission wali feel to it. Suddenly some kind of warmth swept me 🤣 although as Sai said in her interview, the mission is to bring back his "dil ka marham" 🤢

The expressions that we are seeing of Virat more often these days suggests that this is true but then his actions reflect the denial he is in, except for that one "apne kamre me jaao" because at that point he so desperately wanted Sai back in the room and was able to see her side.

I have been wondering what has he been observing so intently and remaining silent - The focus on his expressions after PP speaks is for a reason. Also, he has noticed that PP has been talking back to his mother just like she does with Sai. It should have rung a bell by now. Leave Sai aside for a moment, but Virat should trust his mother's instinct at least.

That is certain. She's would be this nagging, forever suspicious, kyun virat kyun wali biwi just like she is in her present role as best friend 😆

I like to see things from both sides, so this post is for Patralekha, who is evolving into the chief antagonist of this drama.

[We often want characters to behave according to our moral compass, but then they have a mind of their own and their own red lines]

A couple of years ago, I saw a Chinese drama where the male lead tells the second female lead that when you meet THE ONE, no one else matches up. He refused to move on despite being separated from the female lead for years. That is what happened in the case of Patralekha – though the Chinesecouple’s story was not a two-day love story. You can feel a connection with someone in a trice, and with someone, you might never even if he/she is the best man/woman in the world.

When I think about her character, it is not yoga camp that I revisit. It is the first meeting between her and Virat. She sat on the steps and watched Virat in awe, seeing him tell the nakshatra of his family members. The man had an aura and came across as an honest, family man. It was a great first impression, and when she met him again at the camp, she could not stop herself but fall for him. And, it was for the first time in her life that she had met a man with whom she could see a future together. [Can we make such a conclusion in two-day time? Well, a short meeting is often the beginning of long conversations.]

Virat and Patralekha’s story is of two complete strangers who were attracted to each other but were not meant to be. We cannot tell whether they would have worked as a couple or not, because they never got that chance. “WHAT IF?” will always be there, especially in the mind of Patralekha.

It takes time, sometimes even years, to move on from the person who you believe is THE ONE. Both Virat and Patralekha never got that time. In the case of Virat, he met Sai soon after meeting Patralekha, and with her, he probably felt a connection. He was not attracted to Sai, but he could not ignore her or stop himself from admiring her. She didn’t see him as perfection personified or expected him to behave in a Chavan-family-son proper way. Also, the mission to save her saved him from the pain of watching the so-called love of his life entering his house as his cousin's wife.

Returning to Patralekha, she did not get a chance to interact with Samrat. Her fault, yes, but then, she did not get the much-needed time to accept the new reality. And, why is she holding on to Virat and his promise? For her, he is THE ONE. No one and nothing else matters.

Hey, welcome back! 🤗

This is such an amazing post. The "what if" is an excellent point you make. More than what Virat and Pakhi feel for each other, it is the feeling of 'almost' which keeps haunting them. How he 'almost' said I love you to her, how they were 'almost' going to have a relationship. It's like a toy or a food item we set our eyes on but we can't get it. We don't know for sure that we'll like it but that annoying feeling of imagining what could have been is enough to drive anyone crazy.

In that sense, I sympathise with VirKhi, before they got a chance to do anything, just fate struck (along with Pakhi's impulsivity). Till then, I have no issues with them. But it's their behaviour after that and how much they overrate their encounter. They didn't and still don't know much about each other. They didn't have any meaningful conversation enough to fall head over heels in love with each other. That's why Virat's vada/sacrifice looks so khokla- there is absolutely no foundation. For two supposedly 'mature' and 'modern' people- how can you call this love? How can a two day yoga retreat be enough to make a life long promise of celibacy? Had the yoga wala love led to something more and had we even gotten a few more months of them exploring their relationship, it would've made sense. But it so hard to empathise with two grownup adults acting like children who weren't given chocolates by their parents. Virat and Pakhi's sense of THE ONE is skewed.

@red:🤣🤣parents would have been willing to give the chocolate too, but one of them decided he didn't want the chocolate anymore. he wanted the patakas 😆

@blue: itni maturity kahan se laati ho? 🤣(real world ki serious wali maturity) Kya line hai. Mazza aa gaya 🤗

@green: as far as I remember, they didn't even know each other's full names. He didn't know she was Patralekha and she didn't know he was Virat Chavan. Because she had heard the names of all other family members during the Nakshatra puja scene, except Samrat's... i don't expect her to recall that as a normal person but she didn't know he was also Chavan. THAT much they knew each other and fell in love.

Waise, do you think when he sees her in her tracksuit model look tomorrow, he will miss a heartbeat?

hi 🤗 Thank you so much for letting us all know that we were able to pull you out of hibernation. It feels great to hear that!

And a lovely post! Yes, I do agree about "The One". Very relevant. Also, when you are completely closed to the idea of moving on because you are latching on to the concept of "the one", it is even more difficult. In case of PP, most reasons fail because she made a "conscious" choice to marry another man but just because her blocked true love appeared unexpectedly, she was reminded that he was "the one". It is her dishonesty that is disturbing.

Hello, *Hugs Back.* I hope to remain just a stalker :-)

Before I try to explain her behavior, let me clarify that I call her the Dukhi Aatma, not at all fond of the character. But, I enjoy analyzing characters and their motives. It is fun to defend the ones that the majority hate.

Blocked his number: I see it as a natural reaction after a major disappointment. She did more to protect herself-- delete the number and block so that there would be no temptation to try again. She believed that the man, too, thought of her as someone special -- she assumed if she was "The One" to him, the first thing he would have done was save her number. But, he neither saved her number nor recognized her voice. She acted out of disappointment and hurt.

She probably agreed to marry Samrat to crush that feeling that she had for a man who was not interested in her. She was focused on herself and not anyone else. Wrong, yes, but then, she had no clue Virat would turn out his cousin.

Again, marrying Samrat because of Virat's promise is not something a sane, educated person would do. But, we are not her and as they say, love is blind. :-)

She had again met The One, and he, too, had confessed his love for her, and not marrying his cousin meant letting him go. How could she let him go. She had only two options -- be close to him as a friend or no contact ever? She chose what she thought was the best option.

I hope I am making sense. :-)
