Sai has inclination for making unjustified conclusions?

The way I see it, the character of Sai has an inclinatioin towards making unjustified conclusions and holding onto it for quite some time (it is holding onto conclusions that bothers me more than making them)

1. Her first encounter with Virat: Virat's car ended up dirtying her bags on her way back home. Virat was talking on the phone (laughing) with Jiva, unaware of whatever happened. Virat was on the back seat. Still she ended up making conclusions about him and named him gabbar.

2.She carried forward this image of his for quite some time in spite of the fact that he was protecting her and rescueing her when endangered.

3.His request to Kamal sir (of delaying his retirement) only added fuel to the fire.

4. Aaba told her that Virat sir had already approved his retirement after which she was happy with him (which indicated that it was Aaba who was interested in completing his duty)

5.When Aaba returned back to work (jasus scene) both Virat and Aaba clarified to her that it was Aaba who was keen on completing his duty and not the other way round.

6.It was also clear from Virat getting Pawar sir to meet with Kamal sir to take over the job.

6. Aaba had already told her that Virat has kept him out of active involvement in the mission.Still she accussed Virat completely for what happenned to Aaba and never doubted Aaba for not keeping his promise (knowing his history of going overboard for duty-'mere Aaba ko dekhiye.jab duty ki baat aati hai sab kuchh bhul jate hai')

7. She herself witnessed Aaba getting shot while saving Virat. Everyone told her,'bete joshi saab bichme aa gaye. Virat sir ki koi galati nahi hai' more than once. Still she kept on holding Virat responsible for whatever happened (Phir bhi Virat sir hi jimmedar hai mere Aaba ki maut ke liye- post suicide home scene).

8. After the breakfast scene, she herself concluded that Virat was upset because she did not allow him eat what Pakhi had served which was not the case.

9.From just one sentence,'THEY are saying, GC jana meri sabase badi bhul thi', she concluded that it was about her and Virat's decision of marrying her.

Does Sai has an inclination towards making hasty and unreal (not able to see through the reality) conclusions about individuals, situations and holding onto it? Will her habit of holding onto her conclusions come in a way of her developing relationship with Virat?

Would love to hear your thoughts.

You are absolutely right. Being an only child of a single parent she has been spoiled ever though her father has done a good job teaching wrong from the right but the execution of her thoughts does not consider another person's feeling.

She also does not apologize. Viraat even mentioned the "Sorry is a small word to say" to her when he brought her father's replacement but she completely ignored him. Sai thinks she is right all the time and everyone is wrong.

Very true. Also, Sai doesn't have a mother....a mother who normally is the parent, who explains consequences, and impact of behaviour to children. Here's where I'm hoping Ashwini will step in.

At this point, Ash is living vicariously through Sai, enjoying her 'giving back' to Bhavani.

@Red and Bold completely agree with you on these points.

Being FL, I kind of dismissed her flaws but she does have her own set of those. She outgrowing those would be beautiful to watch.

It's that all of us here have put the characters into boxes and we are running with it.

Yup, this is her character flaw. Her hot-headedness comes with impulsivity. I tend to ignore her post-Aaba rudeness with Virat because that's totally understandable.

But her drawing conclusions from Virat's phone call was a tad unreasonable. I guess this is what Virat means by "maturity".

I've only watched a handful of SaiRat scenes but this heated, rushing to conclusion and major outbursts are a great weakness of Sai.

She may be smart, honest and can call a spade a spade but I don't understand why cv's are portraying her like this! There's nothing wrong with having a flawed lead character but this borders on childish.😑

Why is Virat giving her the green light to stand up for herself in his house - isn't that his responsibility first? She doesn't know his family! He's the one who needs to set the boundaries. Not Sai rushing into battle and he from the sideline 'approving' 😕.

In order to portray the 'age gap' between the leads they're probably showing Sai like this. Whereas her character is the best after Ashwini in this drama.

I think her impulsiveness stems from her hot-headed nature. But, this is a gap that could be easily filled with proper guidance given that Sai can decipher people easily.

Her hotheadedness is most likely a defence mechanism to stop herself from getting hurt by anyone after being brought up w/out a mother.

Add the situations she had to face with that criminal just hardened her a tad more.
