Assuming you say Gaby is strong player , and not certainty of Arcgana coming next , then Bala selecting her is a smart move right ?

Strong player (from his perspective who can make him look weak in contest) = Gaby.

Weak player (from his perspective who gives him free and easy ride in contest) = Anbu gang.

What is in equation as per discussion is, did he plan it smartly to put Archana in tight spot. Answer is No.

If you mentioned smartness with respect to knocking strong player, I would have agreed with you.

But if you say he played smartly (planned) to put Archana in tight situation, it is not something I agree to.

That's the origin of this discussion. Isn't it? It wasn't about choosing Gaby is smart move or not, neither about it is correct thing to do or not.

When Archana came out after nominating, Bala asked her with nakkal , enga kuthieenga , brain-a heart-a . That was the basis for me leaning more towards the Archana theory than Gaby strong theory in his Gaby nomination.
