I am not entirely sure on the attraction bit either. I think the Pakhi taunt was also because Virat's words and actions have confused Sai as much as they confuse us. Everyone around Sai is always singing Virat's praises but ever since he's come to Gadchiroli, from Sai's POV, all he's done is stall her and Aaba going to Nagpur and that's what she desperately wanted. WE know that Virat wasn't directly responsible for Kamal's death but for Sai, she would going back to the whole VRS- revoking saga. Even though he has been her saviour on a bunch of occasions, Sai just doesn't buy it. From her side, he has destroyed her life as much as he has saved it.

I wish Sai's a bit older too before the romance and I also hope we get clarity on Virat's age. I really hope he's 24-25.

pakhi is 26 (it was mentioned during pakhi samrat marriage track.so smart and virat will be around 29,28 I think

And also the look given to virat is that of a guy in his late 20s

Virats younger brother mohit must be around 24

The age difference is a factor bcoz virat told pakhi that sai is a bacchi(earling during pakis wedding night pakhi told virat that he is always mentioning abt sai ,so virat told her that sai is a board exam topper on 12 maharashtra board + arre bacchi hai sai)

So although virat cares about sai I dont think virat is attracted to sai now(maybe he feels a connection but due to sai being so young than himself he didnt realize it)

This is exactly what I think! See Virat is definitely fond of Sai. Remember the safe house episodes and his dialogues. But somehow he didn't have any such feelings for her may be due to her younger. But now she's his wife and they both will be living under the same roof. So he will gradually sense the connection and become occupied with her thoughts.

I remember, during the wedding rituals, Virat reiterated his vaada and stuff and Sai closed her eyes, kind of in exasperation.

This ties in with what I said earlier, reminding him of his vaadas serve a dual purpose, to maintain the distance, but also, as you pointed out, to show Virat that i'm as uninterested in this, as you are.

Interestingly, this riles Virat up.😆

@bold, This!! If he’s so unconnected he shouldn’t be affected by what Sai says!! Anything to do with Sai affects him. Actions speak louder than words and Virat’s actions are all about Sai. Everyone can see that. Yet he simply repeats what he thinks he should be feeling or doing.

Before sais fathers demise virat really enjoyed sais company.He used to enjoy sais nautangy.

From pakhi all he gets was blaming game and tears,sai is really a breadth of fresh air

Now that sai is his wife,she will be with him all the time so his thoughts will change definitely(blame pheromones if you want virat)

After all wife is wife and bhabhi is bhabhi.

Wife can be your friend and lover but bhabhi can only be best friend😁😁☺️☺️☺️❣❣❤

Bold- I have been thinking of this and you said it. Given the situation they are in, it will be a while before Sai laughs again. I think Virat is going to miss that part of her for sometime until things settle. I think she will eventually come around to being jovial with him once she gets admitted to the medical college.

Also, Virat actually likes being called Gabbar (and other Sholay characters 😅) so he's going to have to get her back in that mode.

Not just the 'breath of fresh air' but even her genuinely loving nature and concern for people has impressed him. He disguised as a doodhwala to meet her after an accidental phone call where she lovingly asked him how he was and whether he has eaten mistaking him for her Aaba- itna khinchav hai Sai me. 😜
