The way Radha is forcibly shoved in every major and minor event and the extent to which other characters are demeaned to glorify her is very infuriating.

Krishna's silliness for Radha effortlessly exceeds all bounds of tolerance, insults his divinity, and reeks of soap operas.

I don't even believe in Krishna's divinity, and it's annoying the heck out of me.😆

Krishna of the texts attributed to Vyasa - Mahabharata first, then Harivamsa, then Srimad Bhagavatham - was a very serious man with a slightly flirtatious/mischievous side which he showed only in presence of his good friends. He wasn't involved in each and everything, either. Dice hall and Panchali vastra haran episode drive me up the frigging wall because Krishna never sent yellow sari floating from the sky as per Mahabharata. Panchali rescued herself. Krishna even admitted later he didn't know, and if he knew, he would've stopped the game. But the shows invariably show Krishna telepathically hearing her and magically saving her. The characterization used in shows comes from puranas. I believe ISKCON has even said they were likely 2 different men.

There was no Radha in canon texts, either. Even in puranas, she was part of Krishna's life only until he left Gokul. Krishna never looked back since. Radha was never shown to be involved in any of the events in Krishna's life.

All THIS show is showing are some tales from puranas combined with a whole lotta fan fiction. Somehow, they took the all-powerful Krishna Vyasa never mentioned but shows portray and turned him into a narcissistic, sexist dudebro with control issues who's somehow confused that his son would not accept his girlfriend. Imagine that!😆

They demeaned the Radha character, made her a personified Badha in half of the episodes, then all of a sudden, made her an all-pervasive person, a nagging tail to Krishna! 😲Where we've lost our beautiful Radha in all these hazy stories?

Radha is a beautiful shadow of Divine Krishna, Radha is a divine definition for eternal love, Radha .... Radha is an epitome of sacrifice, Radha is a poetic expression of romance on a celestial level! She doesn't know jealousies ( except in Jayadeva Ashtapadies ) she never bothered about societal norms, she never tried to meet Krishna after he left Brindavan, but .... but she knows what is happening in her Krishna's life... Radha >> the River Yamuna >>> Viraha Vyadha >>> and the recollections of her past associations with Him! That is... that is my Radha --- no, not this confused Radha 😭

After a long time written a few lines on Radha with such an emotional involvement. Thank you Wistfulness for all these interactions. 🤗

When I saw you here, I felt very happy❤️. Read your works for FF Critics Awards assessment, was wondered about that perfection itself in all disciplines... no mist in any form... not even simple punctuation mist, so adored seeing such flawless excellence in your writings. 🤗

Regardless of one's belief/disbelief in Radha's existence, your view on the latter is sure to charm a reader. Despite the overtones of sheer disappointment due to the offensive characterization, I could totally feel the connect and the reverence in your words. ❤️

I believe one should consistently strive to be better and it's not possible without a certain level of discipline. Since I err a lot...I felt really delighted upon learning that my discipline reflected in one department.
