I never felt Aishwarya sexy except in Dhoom despite of her ideal height for Indian wear. Some woman has this divinity and no matter how hard they try, they can't look sexy. The actress like Nayanthara, Priyanka, Anushka shetty (in her early 30's), can rock any look without much effort, whereas the actress like Bipasha, Shreya Saran will always look sexy even when they try to look cute.

One actress who looked extremely sexy in saree was Sridevi. Sri in saree with red lipstick is hot

No, for me it doesn't. Talking specifically about Rani here, I think she looks stunning in a saree and is one of the very few actresses who carry this Indian wear well.

I in fact think Rani's beauty has always been very underrated in general as it doesn't fit the eurocentric beauty norms. She is devastatingly beautiful.
