I think that business trip to Hyderabad is an excuse for ruddha to be with Sanjana. And that's when Appa becomes unwell.

Sanjana and Aru come across each other outside Gauri's place. Aru tries her best to explain to Sanjana how ruddha has played with the emotions of both. Appa not well all day and ruddha stays back at Sanjana' home. Eesha makes many calls to ruddha but he fast asleep. Aru calls doctor home.
