The shattered face and unspoken words of Arjun were haunting her. In a few minutes, it started raining so hard. The heavy showers came along with loud thunder and lightning. Riya went in to find out everyone seated to have their dinner. Except for one, Arjun. Where is he? She called one of the servants to ask where he is and found out that he had said he didn't want dinner tonight.

PART 2

Though she hesitated initially she couldn't stop herself from going in search of her Arjun. She went to his room but he was not there. She started searching everywhere he was nowhere to be found. She ran along the corridors and searched everywhere. He was nowhere.

With passing time, her anxiety and tension increased. She even tried calling him but the calls were unanswered. Finally, with not much hope she ran to the balcony to see it he was there.

It was showering very heavily in the middle of the long balcony stood Arjun fully drenched in rain. The thunder or lightning doesn't seem to have an effect on him. He was there yet lost.

"Arjun..Arjun..What are you doing there? Come here !", she shouted for her but it was of no use. He stood there rooted without any movement. She ran to him and shouted him to bring him back from this chain of thoughts still he didn't respond. She went in front of him and shook him only to see his wet cheeks, the tears which were rolling down his cheeks which was still clearly visible irrespective of the drenching rain. He was fully drenched and his eyes were puffy.

"Arjun...Arjun...Let's go inside ", she shook him. He just looked at her, the girl who has stepped out from his life in a day is there in front of her. This time it hurt him to be near. " Go away Riya. I don't want to talk to anyone right now especially you, I need some time for myself ", he outraged.

" Fine Arjun. You can. But not here. Come inside, I will then leave", she pleaded yet he decided not to. " I'm not coming Riya. Just go away. ", he bawled out. " Then, I'm not going anywhere too. I will stay here and get wet until you get in" she crossed her arms and stood there.

" What the hell is wrong with you? Go inside. Right now. I can't withstand your dramas anymore" he lashed out. " I'm not your servant. I can stand here too. It's my wish Mr.Rawte ", she fought back.

He lost his cool. He greeted his teeth. He blusted all his anger over Riya . Yet she didn't make a move. Anger and hurt took hold of him who pushed Riya away. She fell there on the ground with a thud. Her arm was hurt. She couldn't let out the tear which was ready to fall anytime. She controlled herself and wept in silence still staying there.

All of a sudden he crashed on to the ground. With his knees bent he fell on to the ground. He could not hold himself. His whimpers turned into wails. He cried his heart out. The pain nearly killed him.

Riya ran to him and enclosed him in a hug. He really did need that. He hugged her tight as if his life was dependent on it. She tried calming him up. She felt the pain he was going through. She let her tears fell down. She wants the time to stop there. She is the reason behind his pain that hurt her badly.

" Please Riyaa. Please don't leave me. I won't hurt you. I need you in my life. I know you do love me. Why are you stepping away?", he pleaded. He looked so fragile and broken. She tried her best to calm himself " I wish you all happiness Arjun. You are a very good guy. You will have all that you want. But this can never happen. We are only friends ", she told.

He hugged her more tightly fearing she would run away, " I love you Riya. I really do and I know you love me too. I should have confessed to you earlier. We both felt the same so words weren't needed. Please be with me. Please...please.please " he hugged her so tight holding her yet so with care. " Arjun, she patted his shoulder. Any girl would love to have a life partner like you. But not that everyone's wishes will be granted and blessed ", she replied controlling her tears.

Arjun pulled back, he lifted her cheek to look into her eyes. " Just Tell me one thing. I just want to know that. Do you love me? Weren't you in love with me?", he questioned. There was absolute silence except for the heavy shower and platter of raindrops.

"I do Love you Arjun. I really did and I do. I love you ", before she could finish he caught her soft lips by his. His heart beat faster and faster as he deepened the kiss. He knew when he kissed her its always and forever .

Before she could withdraw her mind from its far places, his arms were around her, as sure and hard. She felt again the rush of helplessness, the sinking yielding, the surging tide of warmth that left her limp gave up. She endeavored the kiss. She couldn't either stop herself. His insistent mouth was parting her shaking lips, sending wild quivers along her nerves, evoking from her sensations she had never known she was capable of feeling. And before a swimming giddiness spun her round and round, she knew that she was kissing him back.

After like years, they pulled back. Breathing deeply, he remained standing, and at this moment. He looked at his girl. She was flushed. When she came to her senses what she had done she rose to run away only to be caught by him.

" Don't run away from me Riya. Please....", he held her in his lap and holding her tight. " No Arjun. We can't be doing this. You are getting married. Let me go", she tried to free herself only to be tightened by his arms.

He kept his head on her back, " I can't Riya. I can't marry any other girl. You are the one for me. Why can't you accept me? Us? ", a tear fell on her neck. She turned back and kissed his forehead. Her lips stayed there for a few minutes before she pulled back. He loosened his grip. His hands fell on to his side. " But I can't. There is nothing wrong with us. Neither us nor you. It's me. I'm not the one for you " and she started walking away.

He stood up and caught her. " Why? Why Riya? Who told you so? You are the perfect match for me", he tried to make her understand. " I just wished. But yeah, not possible", she smiled which held so much of pain.

" Promise on me Riya. Tell me the truth. Why can't we? What is stopping you ?", he held her hand. " Arjun, I'm not the one for your family. Let's be practical Arjun. Just think about you, your family, and your status. I am proud of who I am, what my family is but we can never be equal to you ", she stated.

With that painful smile laced on her lips, she continued, " It is just destined to be so Arjun. No worries. Sakshi is the right choice for you. Forget all this and start a happy life ".

" Riya says it out fully. Tell me the truth. Meri Kasam. Did anyone force you to be away? ", he stressed. " Maa. She was correct Arjun. We can't blame her. Your mother wanted to give you the best. Her choice is never wrong ", she answered honestly.

Arjun held her hand. Took away her down the stairs along with him. "Arjun.. Arjun...stop. What are you doing ?", she asked. " I'm doing what has to be done. Don't ask anything. Just come", and he pulled her along with him.

Though she protested and tried to make him understand it was all in vain. He went to the ground floor. Everyone had just finished dinner was getting ready to go back to their rooms. " I need to talk. I need to talk to every one of you ", he said.

Everyone gathered around him and Riya clueless what was going around except for Maa who guessed what was going to take place. She tried stopping Dev but before she could start talking or came near him he gestured her to stop.

" I'm in love with Riya and I'm going to marry her", and there was commotion already, everyone started talking and discussing. " I'm not done yet. I prefer no one talks until I finish. I'm marrying Riya and that's final. No more arguments. It's my life, I get to decide what I've got to do with it. You have any issues you can anytime speak to me, but dare taking anything regarding this with Riya or her family. One more word against her or her family members, Arjun will be no more be here. He will never be Arjun Rawte anymore", he growled.

Everyone was silent. They knew what more they could do or say. None dared to speak. Though Riya pleaded with her eyes to stop and calm himself, Arjun would not listen to any. Arjun's father walked in front.

Arjun's Dad" Don't get angery my son. We'll do nothing against your will. If you want to marry Riya and if she does with the same. We are with you", he promised.

When Arjun's mother thought of protesting Arjun's father stopped her," What matters is his happiness. His life. Let him choose what he wants ".

" Sakshi , I'm sorry. It was not your mistake. But this marriage will give no happiness to me or you. I'm really sorry for that", Arjun apologized.

When Sakshi's parents wanted to scold Arjun for hurting their daughter she stopped them. " It's fine Arjun. Happy Married Life. Be happy", she wiped off her tears. Arjun's father apologized to Sakshi and her family members.

In 2 days the marriage day happened. Arjun married Riya. He held her hands and kissed " We are destined ", he smiled. " Yes, Arjun. Thank you. I can't ask for more", a tear rolled down her cheeks. "And I would not ask for anything more ", he held her hands in his. ....
