Agreed that he did not demean or blame Anushka, but the question is why even bring her name up in the match. That is what everybody are saying, do not bring in Anushka in the game period.

If Anushka was acting in anyway entitled because she is being Virat's wife, yes every right to call her out in this but both are separate issues.

Do not bring up spouse/family in the game simple.

she is entitled to her opinion. I don't understand why cant she interpret the message the way she wants to and reacts on the same as she wants to, esp when it's regarding her.

If she felt offended by it, she will react accordingly

Ok, so I finally heard the audio. My personal opinion is that he didn't mean it in a sexist way. He just said that because of lockdown, Virat was only able to practice at home on Anushka's bowling and that it will not help here.

But looks like Anushka took offense to her name being used in that manner. Ab kya karein? Everyone reacts like this sometime or the other. Unfortunately being celebs, everything gets blown out of proportions.

But I wish she had spoken to Gavaskar in person and expressed her disappointment with that comment if she was offended.

Under any circumstance why bring someone's personal life into their profession? Why use Anushka Sharma's name? He plays best or worst that's his game blame him all ways possible why bring family into it?

Not really Anushka & her supporters changed their tune to save their faces after realising that Anushka falsely implicated Sunil Gavasker as Pervert, Sexist, Unprofessional on the basis a completely harmless comment, just bcoz he took her name doesnt make it ok for her to tag him with all of the above adjectives in order to maintain her "befitting" reply dene wali pseudo feminist image, she should let it go now peacefully after the clarification by Gavasker, but ofcourse her ego wont allow that, pata nahi Anushka ka naam na hua Voldemort ka ho gya😆, faltu attention seeking tamasha by her
