We know suvan just wanted time for them to cool down and were just gonna be gone for a few days but i guess vijays death will eclipse the whole situation and bring in irreparable damage to everyone.

they were helpless what can we expect jab parents apni zidh ke aage apna faisla sunadete h ??

Obviously they were and they knew the step they took was wrong but there was no option left especially if they wanted to not be separated this fast. They still have to decide on their future plans but the twist will put a kibosh on everything anyway

@bold: while I agree with you I think we as viewers know more than the parents know. They were caught in quite a compromising situation. For Suman to be caught in a boy's bedroom, after midnight about to kiss the guy, her dad has no reason to know what has or has not transpired between them or how far this can progress. So I can buy that his knee jerk fear reaction kicked in. I personally think they made a mistake by forcing almost grown up kids. But at the same time I find it understandable because in many cases that is how parent's react. in many cases they may even be a lot more harsh and they "think" they are doing the right thing. Because they are so used to operating from a frame work that they are the guardian and have to make the right choices for the kids even though its time to let go and let the kids make decisions of their own. So I feel both perspectives were completely valid. I just wish we got a chance to allow them to explore that.

The tragedy for me is that we will never get to see the evolution of Vijay coming to a point where he has to admit that he was wrong and give that validation to Suman that her choice in Shravan was correct. Suman's growth process will now have include going against what she knew her deceased father approved of. Shravan will prove himself but can that ever be enough without the explicit blessing of her father after what has transpired? I am just not sure how you get there from here?

thats why nobody is wrong and right from their POVs...suvan are taking irrational approaches despite knowing the consequences and daddy log are right as fathers concerned about their kiddos education/career & getting distracted but wrong in terms imposing their final ultimatum...so todays episode (+past 1-2 episodes ) we have sorta mixed opinions...everyone has a different take on the current situation and tend to contemplate at times whether it was the right approach or not...vijay expecting suman to sober up after the family drama was quite surprising...yes he did feel like suman kabh army ke rang mein gulgai nhi pata chala + developing the expectations from an army's POV vs trying to understand from a fathers POV to some extent which he failed to do so when he kept on trying to shut her up when she asked for an opportunity...failing to trying to decipher whats gotten into her and imposing his decisions...

As much as I understand Vijay's concern over Suman's career and wanting her to focus more on army than love life even though she did let him know she can balance both of them,... what I don't get is Devraj's concern towards Shravan's career right now. Ofcourse, he is always shown scolding his son for studies and goals but him saying his pyaar is Infatuation and sending him off to USA in impulse is vague. Because he was chilled out about Shravan falling in love in one of the past episodes but it feels like he has got problem more wIth the fact that the love is Suman, Vijay's daughter. I wonder if it was someone else, he would be doing the same thing right now.

I dont think I can ever decide or accept who was right and who was wrong here.. I dont think it even matters anymore... Perhaps if Papa would have been around then it would hav been different..

But the emotional baggage that Suman will be carrying forward will be too heavy on her conscious and for us as viewers...

I dont think I can think anything beyond that..

Regrets... Guilts... Kash?

I wish she hugged her dad before leaving...

I wish she smiled at him..

I wish she at least made one eye contact with him..

This is all too much for an 18 yrs old doting daughter to take on..

I have no idea what the makers will do to us in the next two epis and whether I am ready for it..

But I am glad Papa attained Martrydom rather than a road accident..

This remind me of Abhay Sinha/Asas Jeelani from dehleez when he died during a terrorist attack

Yess Dehleez ,the sequence & aftermath was shot beautifully. I loved that serial very much.

They ended it because of low trp
