Yaar honestly these kids are really making us feel too bad for them....sach mein itne maasoom hain ki inko duniya waalon ke zulm se bachaane ka mann karta hai😆......aise rote hain jab toh sach mein inke liye dil bahut toot-ta hai and you feel like just hugging them both.

Who would've thought ke same basic storyline pe itna bura lagega but the way they have made us connect to these 2 👏👏 inko duniya ki hawa se bachane ka hi mann karta hai.

Waise you know I was thinking g ke agar aise socho toh their parents aren't completely wrong too after all sirf 17 saal ke bache hi toh hain and alkya kareinge aise life toh nahi guzarti na and they want them to focus and chalo maan bhi jaate for their teenage story given that they assure them which they could've in normal circumstances but ab jo itna MU hi gaya hai beech main dono families ke that it's coming to absolute NO but yeah i can't compeltly hate on the family members still too despite them creating problems and giving so much dard to these bachas and that's the beauty in writing and execution otherwise it's total black and white switch and one goes instantly from loving to hating a character but they've kept that margin to give them benefit of doubt and for us to not shut them off completely despite them being so harsh on kids rn

@bold: Completely agree....that was the beauty of the scene and MK-KK are acing every shade of Shravan-Sumo right now much beyond my expectations....they have both pleasantly surprised me. And the writing team also deserves kudos for writing this phase so well. Many shows talk a big game about angst, but end up doing cliched drama.....but this team and these kids have managed to show a truly intense shade of angst and love without resorting to to the usual tropes.

Re: Anjali....I guess she hasn't ever been shown very close to Sumo....her main focus has always been on her husband....so here also she's mostly being shown as a token mother figure who just agrees with whatever her husband decides. Kancha is the one who usually speaks up for Sumo much more everytime compared to her mom.

Re: the fathers....I didn't expect any understanding from Vijay at this point....one has to grant him the fact that he's also a human being who is grappling with issues that Sumo is unaware of....he has his own misgivings about Devraj now and then I think what he's most shaken by is a Sumo so out of character from the way she usually is....he has never seen her display this kind of emotion for anything other than family and Army...so obviously he won't instantly give her the benefit of doubt and will think she's having some kind of teenage fit. It's easier for him to play doting father when Sumo's goals aligned with his.....their whole world has been Army Army.....for the first time, Sumo is talking about something beyond Army and it's tough for Vijay to digest.

As for Devraj....he also behaved as he always has been....he may try to be Shravan's friend but ultimately he's an old school strict dad who does what he thinks is right, not really treating his son as an adult who can make his own decisions.

@ Red : Yes, if the writing lacks, nothing is possible to make it right. Be it the execution or even the actors portraying it. The fact that they have reached to the peak point where there's very little amount of space is vacant for Suvan's individual development. They are not those kids who fought for a seat anymore or would fight with anyone in future. If any of the character had lacked even little amount of depth or effort from writers, I don't think the final chemistry would have been this good.

@Blue : Okay since her husband won't be there , so I would like to hear HER POVs.

About Vijay : Couldn't agree more. I find his behavior somewhat realistic. Even his harsh words to Shravan in previous episode was understandable. He obviously isn't a flawless person. No one is. He needs space and time in Sumo's words😆

Even if you are angry which she also didn't felt like she was so whatever zone and why can't she discuss it with vijay they are shown otherwise to be such an understanding couple but not a word from her to make him understand suman ka pov bohat hi ajeeb tha woh the way she a spectator.

I was kind of shocked too and wished expecting a mother-to-daughter or a woman-to-woman kind of conversation considering how she always encouraged and cherished the relationship between vijay and suman. I don't want to point fingers or stuff but would been lovely to see a small mother-daughter duo scene. Vijay's POV as a father is understandable but I wished for Anjali's side instead of having a much smaller role.

Yeah, there are points where she tries to keep her guard but will emotionally break down like she cannot tolerate it anymore and quickly opens up to shravan in a very comfortable manner. Thats the beauty of their relationship I guess. When one breaks down, the other one tries to maintain composure and gives himmat to their partner. Like the past scene, when Shravan was about retort to Daadu before Suman signaled him to breath his anger out in a calm manner. Balance shift is quite interestlingly shown in their relationship.

We have seen it in the past too that bhikar jaati hai sumo ek.dek.she takes these jhatkas more strongly and yeah sbe does seem to be strong and put a wall around her to give this am jot affected at all vibe but pehle bhi she used to break in loneliness and ratber badly it happened after the party incident too except at that time she was rather alone and now she has shravan who can hear her out and calm her down and put her back together yeah kancha was always there but suman didn't really allowed her to come into that deep either and maintained that am good thing with her too and that vulnerabilty she only shows to shravan and only allows him to come.that close emotionally to her and that's why I have been referring to her as a bachi more often caz the mature and calm suman ek dum sand ki tarah bhikarti hai in front of shravan and voices out her innocent fears and questions him itne masoom se

Love how you described this bit....especially the sand analogy....it's so bang on for Sumo....ek alag hi tarhaan ki vulnerability hai that she only seems to share in front of Shravan....I guess it stems out of a different kind of faith she has in him to be there for her....it's different from the faith she has in her family, her sister.

Yep....this is the change that comes over Shravan when he rises to a challenge....suddenly all the masti/mazaak goes away and he gets dead serious....this switch in his personality has always been interesting to watch.

Storylines toh saari simple and basic hi hoti hain....the treatment is what decides everything, and sadly most shows today forget that basic fact. Building character connect is the ultimate litmus test for a story....and yahaan these writers have managed to make us connect to these characters slowly/steadily over time....it wasn't like a flash/bang and then khatam....it's like a slow warmth that's spread into our hearts and now made us feel so attached to these kids.

Re: parents....oh absolutely...I was toh bracing myself for some sudden radical shift in families ka drama once they discover the kids together....but aisa toh kuch bhi nahin hua hai. Their reactions as parents of 17/18 year olds discovering their kids together like this is quite understandable.....even as we feel very bad for the kids ka pain, parents ka perspective is also mostly understandable to me...even the bit with both of being extra strict now and not wanting to listen to their kids ka POV. Most parents are like this only and feel ki is age pe unke baccho ko duniya ki samajh nahin hoti.....just that baat karne ka tareeka is usually so OTT in most shows and characters are usually caricaturized rather than humanized.

Here it's a rare case where they've mostly humanized the fathers/parents so far....only that Daddu is a total gone case, but the rest of them have been mostly understandable. This is what makes me slightly hopeful ki breaking point is also shown in keeping with this treatment...but then I tell myself not to raise expectations cuz things can change anytime😆

@bold: We can hope😆....but I don't really have much expectation from her character....it's been mostly low key/bland in this storyline. Remains to be seen if she grows closer to Sumo after losing her husband.

Re: writing....yes, writing is the first step to any good story....most shows don't even manage to get that bit right...so it's been nice that this show has mostly done a good job with navigating the story and developing the characters to this point.....now it remains to be seen how they tackle the shift to a new phase.

Haan daddu is super extra and that vile old man doesn't even think for one sec one would hope ke being the elder that he is he'd be more open and more samjhdaar but nope though aaj uska reaction bhi uski usual loud bakwaas ke aage thoda mild hi tha thankfully but I know this guy will go iverboard as soon as vijay dies and then I won't be able to tolerate him whatsoever. I was hurt at his suman tum toh woh nikli hi nahi jo maine aamjha like daddu sorry aisa kya jurn kar dia sumo ne sirf pyar hi toh kia hai that too never crossing the line that could seriously hurt your reputation zimemdari se kia woh bhi never broke kisi ka bhi trust and then she gets to hear that phir bura lagta hai
