Just the flow of how this transition happened and how their was not an attepmt to dhalofy one in the mould makes it beautiful she never had these sharavan ke liye khud ko badlana hai type cringe thoughts caz their was no need for her and that is the difference caz otherwise sabse confident se confident ladki ko bhi is despo main badal dia jaata hai who has no self worth . suman knows her worth and holds her self respect high but not in preachy kitabi gyani way usko har waqt yeh bhashan dene ki zaroorat nahi padti

Word....especially about the bit regarding Sumo knowing her worth, even after falling in love.....unlike most FLs who lose themselves so much in the process. She loves passionately, she may take risks in love, but she has still always held true to her basic personality and goals. And Shravan has always loved and admired her for the basic person that she is....neither tried to change the other that way. Even in Shravan's case, whenever he has tried to run himself down, Sumo is the one who's reminded him to never be sorry for taking the right stand.

They have both only tried to uplift each other....never tried to run each other down or change each other per their preferences....they've simply blossomed in each other's company.

Naa, I'm not being flippant....I felt really bad for both the kids today....kitna phoot phoot ke roye dono maasoom jaanein. Sumo hugging Kancha and crying so hard, and Shravan as always pouring his heart out to Bunty as he cries about the unfairness of it all ki pyar hi toh kiya and uski itni sazaa mil rahi hai....aww....lol. lt was sweet that both Bunty and Kancha were trying to give hope to SS ki give things a couple of days to cool down and the families will understand.

Even looking at your gifs and pics make me tear up for them:( These two are lucky to have Kancha and Bunty🤗 Both of them crying because of the unfairness of the situation and at the same time trying to reach out to the other to know everything is ok! Really these two have done so well in the emotional bits without being OTT , its so easy to go overboard with the emotional upheaval going on .

Daddu as always shows up in the epis only to create problems....phone le liya bechaari Sumo ka toh communication cut off ho gayi Shravan se.

The less said about him the better

The fathers have both dug in, even as the kids make earnest appeals to them....especially Sumo tried very hard to make her father understand once again....but Vijay seems convinced that Sumo has lost her away and harsh measures are needed to get her back on track in life. On the other side, Devraj initially trying the "friend" approach with Shravan again, trying to make him understand that he's doing what's best for him but he also ultimately steeled himself and gave an ultimatum to Shravan. Once again, I liked that the dads didn't get into faltu ki mudslinging and deriding of each other....they both just focused on their respective kids and tried to explain their thought process in their own way.

Ironical that both dads tried talking to their kids , giving then opportunity to talk but still go ahead and do what they want. Good thing kids called them out on that . Whats the point of asking us, if you have made up your minds. But again the dads in their own way is right too, as a parent of teenagers they just feel they need to focus more on their life and career and also there is a big rift between the families. Again its the execution thats handled so beautifully, kids putting their points forward without being disrespectful and dads showing restraint from character assasination! Its Anjalis behavior thats so off putting and its strange we don’t have any Kavita- Shravan scene yet.

Sumo was the more defiant one today, standing up to her family more, instantly trying to run out to see Shravan when she got his note, before ultimately almost fainting in weakness. Shravan was also tadpoing for his Sumo, so torn up seeing the imprint of her tear on the note she sent him.....dono bacche ek jaise tadap rahe the aaj....it was palpable.

Sumo keeps on surprising every episode, its more so because she is having this disagreements with her dad which is literally her hero, who she puts on a pedestal. I am so thankful to the maker, not taking the tried and tested route of dukhiyari FL who can’t go against her family and make it all sappy😆

Finally, all the good samaritans - Bunty, Kancha, Damru, Jhumri united to give the kids a chance to meet😆

A scene I hoped for finally came up yesterday . I got a Bunty- Kancha- Shravan- Sumo scene!

The Sumo-Shravan scene in the car is the highlight of today's epi....such a lovely scene again navigating a range of emotion. There was the initial bit where they both instantly hug each other in relief and Sumo remarking that she hadn't managed to see him all day and she couldn't even bear it for one day....so how can she imagine going away to Pune? Then there was the bit where Shravan told her that his father thinks their love is just an infatuation....and the maasoom sa way in which he asks, "aisa sach hai kya"? Aww Shravan....and the way Sumo instantly firmly replies ki unhein galat lagta hai...."Humara pyar HUM samajhte hain"....aww....I just loved so many dialogues in this scene....the way Sumo was like, our fathers may have seen a lot of the world and life, but we know how we feel....the way she listed out each example of how they feel for each other....the way they are both able to know everything about each other without saying a word....and then the way she tells him, "humaare pyar pe kabhi doubt nahin"....aww....the way Shravan hugs her in response again....another aww....aaj toh all their hugs were very touching....as if they were trying to draw strength from each other.

The car scene had me tear up, they cried so much. Again their entire conversation, drawing strength from each other, laying bare any doubts and second thoughts and convincing each other they will find a way to this situation was done so nicely. The hugs they gave each other today was all about giving each other emotional support and them trying to takeaway the immense fear of separating from rach other forever. This phase also brings out the fact thats its girls who are mostly more emotionally stronger than boys, for all the showoffs Shravan does, its always Sumo he turns upto for emotional support.

And then the way the scene shifted into both of them trying to figure out what to do....I liked the way they talked through different options....ki koi aise khush nahin rahega and if they both are not happy, toh parents bhi dukhi honge.....and college/career toh saath mein reh ke bhi banaa sakte hain.....jaana cancel nahin kar sakte toh kisi tarhaan delay karo...buy time to make their parents understand.

.

Shravan seems to have devised some plan wherein they leave the house in the morning as their families want but then find a way to meet up outside and then probably hide for a bit to buy time.

Finally Shravan ka khurafati dimaag chalne laga. 😆 There was a chamak in his eyes when he said they want us to go our ways and thats exactly what we will do. 😆

I like how this entire time Beena has not said a word, but her expressions let us know that she is not disappointed or giving accusing glares, she is just sad of Sumos predicament. And finally, Anjali not saying anything about vile dadu even while she is seeing Vijay being so disturbed with Devrajs behavior and now her daughters life being uprooted for it makes me detest her character

So that is how the juxtaposition might be....on one side, these two might be buying time by hiding somewhere, while Vijay's accident may happen on the other side and that will bring both of them back home for the rest of the fallout.

I hope not, it will be too much of a burden for both of them to carry . Sumo will be crushed under the weight of defying her dad and parting on su h a note by hurting him😭

Exactly....the execution has been a pleasant surprise with all sides getting to put forth their viewpoints in an in-character manner. I frankly don't get the criticism of people saying Vijay should have instantly given in to Sumo or people claiming Sumo is being "blind in love" by disagreeing with her father.....everyone is reacting in a human manner based on their emotions and the information they know at this time. There are no caricatures here as they are in most other shows - where it's pre-decided ki yeh villain hai toh iska POV saara galat hai. Well, except for Daddu and Anish types who are relatively caricaturish in this show.....but still they have nothing on the horrendous caricatures present in most other shows on TV right now😆

Re: Anjali....yeah she's quite bland right now but might develop later as a character.....I also feel that the writers chose to focus these epis on the fathers ka reaction to to keep the drama centered on one theme....adding the moms to the mix would have drawn this out longer. Kavita will have her say ultimately I'm sure....probably after Shravan-Sumo seperate...."I told you so, puttar" bolne aayegi mummy😆

WORD....I've been so thankful for that too....warna I was expecting the cliched route ki pyar ke jitne bhi vaade kar lo, the leads become instant dukhiyaare when families ka pressure aata hai....but yahaan the kids took a courageous stand for as long as they could....especially Sumo who didn't let her hero worship for her dad also deter her because she knew her truth so fiercely when it came to her love for Shravan. This girl truly proved that she is a courageous one....bas bolne ke liye nahin hai...she showed courage at many crucial points in this journey.

So true....and they've shown it subtly without doing bhaashans about it with Shravan saying things like "tum hi strong ho, Sumo" blah blah....no, it hasn't been that on the nose thankfully.....we understand that Sumo is the emotionally stronger one through the ways she sambhaaloes him when he faces any moments of doubt like that....Shravan too sambhaaloes her in other bits, but he has a different way of tackling her - he changes the subject to lighten her mood...while Sumo's method is to directly tackle everything head on.

Yes, it would be too much of a burden to carry but sadly it seems like it will come to that only....it will have to be a herculean event to rip these two apart, otherwise it won't be believable that two kids with so much love and understanding got seperated....so the events are boiling up as such that things will spiral out beyond their control and worse than anything they could imagine.

fary, i was a bit skeptical that when vijay made the decision to send suman off to pune for further studies for army, was anjali made aware of this or what? it was kind of odd to see this ..

The dads are behaving like most of the dads would, as far as Shravan is concerned, Devraj always called him nikkama in front of Vijay, so you cant fault Vijay for having reservations about Shravan. As you said everyone is behaving according to their character.

Lol, I guess it will be mom show in part 2 😆 Haha makes sense too as both dads wont be there, so mom will be more important post leap😆 Writers ne inko bacha ke rakha hai.

The most wonderful part is it doesn’t even feel out of character for Sumo. Because her core character is fierce loyalty and standing up for the truth no matter what:)

Word about bhashanbaji bit😆 Thats just big ramblings which is all shallow as they don’t practice what they preach , bad TRP ke liye they give those big bhashans lol. Like yesterday Sumo says, we know so much about each other without actually talking about it . You are correct that Sumo takes a more direct route and Shravan is jugaadu types😆

Sad but so true:(
