Naa, I'm not being flippant....I felt really bad for both the kids today....kitna phoot phoot ke roye dono maasoom jaanein. Sumo hugging Kancha and crying so hard, and Shravan as always pouring his heart out to Bunty as he cries about the unfairness of it all ki pyar hi toh kiya and uski itni sazaa mil rahi hai....aww....lol. lt was sweet that both Bunty and Kancha were trying to give hope to SS ki give things a couple of days to cool down and the families will understand. i agree, they have been fully supportive of their relationship no matter how many ups and downs they had to face...both suvan were concerned for each other and their confidantes trying to calm them down otherwise the situation wouldve escalated...i loved how both suman and shravan fell on their beds and kept on crying while Bunty and kanchan tried to calm them down

Daddu as always shows up in the epis only to create problems....phone le liya bechaari Sumo ka toh communication cut off ho gayi Shravan se. daadu ki always adding some fuel to the fire here and there..he also took her and kanchan's phones ...poor girlies 😔

The fathers have both dug in, even as the kids make earnest appeals to them....especially Sumo tried very hard to make her father understand once again....but Vijay seems convinced that Sumo has lost her away and harsh measures are needed to get her back on track in life. On the other side, Devraj initially trying the "friend" approach with Shravan again, trying to make him understand that he's doing what's best for him but he also ultimately steeled himself and gave an ultimatum to Shravan. Once again, I liked that the dads didn't get into faltu ki mudslinging and deriding of each other....they both just focused on their respective kids and tried to explain their thought process in their own way. yeah daddy log trying to tell their kids to sober up but what i didnt like though is devraj was being judgemental even w/o talking with vijay in the first place about what daadu said to him and considered the tiwaris as bad ppl and his family as seedhe saadhe log ...what was the point for?😆also both parents want the best for their kids in terms of career so it was a good thing to see..i like how devraj tried his best to talk it out with shravan the calm way as opposed what he's usually done before telling shravan that he's being shipped off to USA even though they spelled New York wrong 😆

Sumo was the more defiant one today, standing up to her family more, instantly trying to run out to see Shravan when she got his note, before ultimately almost fainting in weakness. Shravan was also tadpoing for his Sumo, so torn up seeing the imprint of her tear on the note she sent him.....dono bacche ek jaise tadap rahe the aaj....it was palpable. yeah both wanted to desparately meet each other...its quite surprising that damru got the letter for suman otherwise he would consider shravan as his dushman in his early days 😆now he also supports their relationship..

Finally, all the good samaritans - Bunty, Kancha, Damru, Jhumri united to give the kids a chance to meet😆 loved that damru said that he'll guard suman from the problems and encouraged her to go meet shravan ..even jhumri equally supportive of shravan ans suman..

The Sumo-Shravan scene in the car is the highlight of today's epi....such a lovely scene again navigating a range of emotion. There was the initial bit where they both instantly hug each other in relief and Sumo remarking that she hadn't managed to see him all day and she couldn't even bear it for one day....so how can she imagine going away to Pune? Then there was the bit where Shravan told her that his father thinks their love is just an infatuation....and the maasoom sa way in which he asks, "aisa sach hai kya"? Aww Shravan....and the way Sumo instantly firmly replies ki unhein galat lagta hai...."Humara pyar HUM samajhte hain"....aww....I just loved so many dialogues in this scene....the way Sumo was like, our fathers may have seen a lot of the world and life, but we know how we feel....the way she listed out each example of how they feel for each other....the way they are both able to know everything about each other without saying a word....and then the way she tells him, "humaare pyar pe kabhi doubt nahin"....aww....the way Shravan hugs her in response again....another aww....aaj toh all their hugs were very touching....as if they were trying to draw strength from each other. i agreee, also she's quite frank about this that maybe they mightve seen the world but suvan have seen each other from each other's perspective the best and know that the separation will shatter their hearts to pieces...daddy log thinking that this pyaar is a bukaar which will fade away in 2-4 weeks...ppar hamara shravan has loved his suman right from the start for months so itni jaldi woh suman ko toh nhi bulne wala...same for suman like even when she tried to distance herself from him, the pain still hurt her ...plus we got 3 hugs in this scene XD shravan just wanted to hug suman so tightly that he literally felt so hurt upon separating her and seeing her eyes shedding tears after tears..she said it was destiny which made shravan shift his base near her house ❤️

And then the way the scene shifted into both of them trying to figure out what to do....I liked the way they talked through different options....ki koi aise khush nahin rahega and if they both are not happy, toh parents bhi dukhi honge.....and college/career toh saath mein reh ke bhi banaa sakte hain.....jaana cancel nahin kar sakte toh kisi tarhaan delay karo...buy time to make their parents understand. i love that she was frank about her making several attempts to convince vijay and even shravan told her what devraj and him spoke about, esp as a businessman he's stern about his decision...trying to make ways to see if they can still be together...also, they both also wanted time for their fathers to understand their perspective but unfortunately, daddies are hellbent :(

Shravan seems to have devised some plan wherein they leave the house in the morning as their families want but then find a way to meet up outside and then probably hide for a bit to buy time. i loved that when he hugged suman that expression that MK gave like he'll make sure that nobody will separate him from suman ..that was so good...

So that is how the juxtaposition might be....on one side, these two might be buying time by hiding somewhere, while Vijay's accident may happen on the other side and that will bring both of them back home for the rest of the fallout.

Man poor kids every emotion of theirs you feel bad and then knowing its gonna get worse. They feel what they feel and i get their parents think this is puppy love who wouldnt if 17/18 yrs old are professing their undying love to their families lol I like that though the tiwaris are against this they were straightforward about it well except daddu coz he is one manipulative jerk lol devraj though as shravan said was a businessman lol devraj does love shravan and wants best for him but he did try to sweet talk him into going. Where were the moms? at least kavita we know is outspoken and wouldnt mince her words and might get swayed eventually but sumans mom is like a damn robot no comfort no support no trying to cajole her? i guess she will leave it to her CO aka vijay lol she still is not opening her mouth about daddus underhanded bs with devraj ugh.

Aww man bunty kancha and the supposed couple dumri lol were suvans only support so sweet. I know bunty and maybe kancha will be there post leap hope dumri is there too lol

The car scene was so angsty they know how they feel and they get what their dads think but damn them all lol realistically they could try to have a long distance relationship and once shravan finishes uni in the US they could reunite and be old enough to marry lol but alas fate has other plans. Shravan looked like he was about to do his fixing the problem in a twisted way mode lol

looks like they will plan this on the way distraction and escape and supposedly sumo is in the dress where vijay dies maybe they find out during their adventure and come home to this tragedy.

The last scene is where the magic happened if I loved it so so so much and I am going fo be watching it on loop. The way they shifted the range there from a shravan starting as a kid asking her so innocently ke aisa hai kya to becoming this more samjhdar one by the end more determined to hold onto her and having a plan wow now that's what suman ka saath does to him quiete literally. It really does give him strength his braincells start working at a faster pace thinking about her discomfort and pain it was her crying like a baby not knowing what they will do thatcgave him determination nad his juggado head instantly cooked up a plan. I loved loved the dialogues kn this scene the hum jante hain humara pyar had a very deja vu feel for me with humare beech jo hai woh humara hai I loved the delicacy again of their hugs the emotions they were dealing with and most of all the innocence of rebellion too they are trying to hatch a plan but woh bhi kaafi masoom sa hi lag raha hai ke supermarket se koi thode time ka escape plan

I also loved the car idea woh bhibfresh tha. Mohit and kK were extra good in that bit and am running short of words to express how much I loved that bit. I will try to form more coherent view on it and comebacks abhi am under its magic

And I loved what you pointed out about Shravan....he started off in that scene at such a hopeless place, literally needing that reassurance from Sumo ki kya humara pyar infatuation hai? Then he draws strength from Sumo firmly telling him ki hum jaante hain humara pyar kya hai and koi doubt nahin rakhna hai ispe....then yes, it is Sumo that starts panicking more again at the thought of them not being able to meet again toh finally Shravan's jugaadu dimaag manages to hatch a plan....woh pura flow itna naturally dikhaya....you could feel how much in pain they both were, the feeling of helplessness, and yet still managing to draw strength from each other again.

In dono ki jaan sach mein ek dusre mein basti hai....and we didn't need an EDKV dialogue to get it....😆...finally writers samajh gaye ki directly bolke nahin, actions se yeh point samjhana hota hai😆

Yaar I was also struck by how swollen both their eyes were....matlab ro ro ke bura haal wala aspect was coming across so naturally....lagta tha jaise sach mein pure din rote rahe hain.

And everyone is rightly pointing out that this Sumo has surprised many of us with her determination in love...but then there are also moments like the one in the car where she cries ekdum bacche jaise as she says she can't live without him and you see ki even as she tries to give him strength, she herself is so vulnerable too....toh then he becomes the one to try to give her strength....both of them take turns.

Uff the way they held each other☺️😭 mere to ansoo nikal aaye inka yeh haal dekh ke and that uncertainty around their future their agar ab ke hum bichade toh khwabon main milein bit ( hahah omg yes I inserted a mehdi hassan ghazal lyrics and am surprised at myself this came out of nowhere but anyway😆 my brain is digging things I have probably heard once out of the archives)

Everytime they said ke phir kabhi na mil paayein I wanted to hold them

The way they wanted to hold time still and just leave. For a moment I did think ke car main baggage hi rahein hain inko but then they jumped into back seat😆)

I also forgot to mention the letted bit again super tangible their pain was getting those little chitthis and the way he caressed the teardrop mark and went meri sumo ka ansoo 🤗

Exactly! She has surprised us all with the fight that she's putting on and her determination but at the base she's ek dum innocent bachi who needs a pillar to lean on and she can only show that extreme vulnerability to shravan only the way she just melts in his arms or his presence and hands over the command to him and composture its really something. We have seen it in the past too that bhikar jaati hai sumo ek.dek.she takes these jhatkas more strongly and yeah sbe does seem to be strong and put a wall around her to give this am jot affected at all vibe but pehle bhi she used to break in loneliness and ratber badly it happened after the party incident too except at that time she was rather alone and now she has shravan who can hear her out and calm her down and put her back together yeah kancha was always there but suman didn't really allowed her to come into that deep either and maintained that am good thing with her too and that vulnerabilty she only shows to shravan and only allows him to come.that close emotionally to her and that's why I have been referring to her as a bachi more often caz the mature and calm suman ek dum sand ki tarah bhikarti hai in front of shravan and voices out her innocent fears and questions him itne masoom se

Yaar honestly these kids are really making us feel too bad for them....sach mein itne maasoom hain ki inko duniya waalon ke zulm se bachaane ka mann karta hai😆......aise rote hain jab toh sach mein inke liye dil bahut toot-ta hai and you feel like just hugging them both.
